SCP-XXXX

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid Keter (Addendum XXXX-2)

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 5m x 5m concrete containment chamber equipped with a reinforced steel door fitted with an electronic locking mechanism and is to be kept under constant guard by no less than 2 armed security personnel at any given time. Any staff requesting access to SCP-XXXX are to be denied unless said staff have been granted written permission by Dr. Mayers and written approval from at least 1 Level-4 Site Administrator.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a vintage Soviet era military medical box (circa 1960) made of a steel alloy consisting of a mixture of steel, an unidentifiable metalloid and what appears to be trace amounts of SCP-███. SCP-XXXX contains standard medical supplies concurrent with the era it was manufactured in. A short sentence scrawled in Russian is visibly scratched on to the side of SCP-XXXX that roughly translates to "We couldn't save them all". Multiple labels across the surface of SCP-XXXX indicate that it was manufactured by the ████████ company on ██/██/████. It should be known that no such company exists. Any individual within a distance of approximately 5 meters of SCP-XXXX will feel compelled to approach and open SCP-XXXX, proceeding to inflict severe bodily harm on themselves with the contents inside, causing the eventual death of the subject if left uninterrupted or in some cases begin to [DATA REDACTED], although this compulsion can be resisted with training and effort.

In approximately 84% of all successful recorded exposure cases, subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX will ask the attending security staff to be allowed back into the containment area for the sole purpose of exposing additional people to SCP-XXXX. If the attending security refuse to expose themselves directly to SCP-XXXX, the subject will become unruly and violent, attacking the security personnel ultimately ending in the death of said subject.

Addendum XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX was discovered on ██/██/████ in ████████, Russia, by Agent █████ after the Foundation had received reports of a mass suicide in a small countryside village east of ███████ and the ████████ war memorial. A memetics containment team was dispatched to the location of the object, but after they had not successfully sent a status report in approximately 12 hours, Mobile Task Force Eta-10 ("See no evil") was dispatched (See Incident Report: XXXX-1).

Addendum XXXX-2: Upon delivery to Site-██, SCP-XXXX was given Euclid classification. During initial handling SCP-XXXX caused the death of Sgt. ███████, resulting in [DATA REDACTED] and over 34 casualties; subsequently ending in a full site lock down, object was upgraded to Keter classification.

Addendum XXXX-3: For experimentation logs, see Experiment Log: SCP-XXXX.

Addendum XXXX-4: Only staff with Level-4/XXXX clearance may be permitted to run or oversee experiments done on and with SCP-XXXX after psychological screening and memetic hazard resistance tests are completed and filed with on-site medical staff.
