Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be surrounded by, at a distance of 30 meters, a 3-meter-tall electrified fence anchored to a concrete barrier extending 1.5 meters underground. Access to SCP-XXXX is prohibited without explict permission of the Region 15 Director.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 12-meter-tall totem pole. Analysis of SCP-XXXX has shown it to be carved from the wood of the Western Red Cedar¹ and colored using traditional pigments². Notable differences between SCP-XXXX and non-anomaous totem poles include the following:

• A distinct lack of any crowning carving
• Handholds and footholds carved into the back of the object
• A small, flat platform at the top of the object

Addtionally, based on the spread of certain anomalous lichens on the surface of the object³, it is estimated that SCP-XXXX is around ███ years old.
SCP-XXXX's primary anomalous property manifests when a biologically human entity⁴ comes within the object's area of effect⁵. The aforementioned entity (herafter referred to as "subject") will experience a weak compulsion effect, coupled with an increase in pride. The strength of this compulsion effect increases with the amount of time spent in SCP-XXXX's area of effect, up to 32r⁶. It is theorized that this limited regeneration factor is what has prevented the destruction of the object through decomposition via fungi, mosses, and the aforementioned lichens.
