Description: SCP-XXXX resembles a coin, and was located in New York City in [REDACTED]. SCP XXXX will take over the mind of any human who makes direct contact with its surface. Although not showing any signs of intelligence, SCP-XXXX will seem like a valuable coin of any currency to anybody who picks it up, and they will have the urge to spend it when presented the opportunity. SCP-XXXX can influence economic systems such for better or worse, and is suspected to have played a part in the Great Depression and other major fluctuations is wealth. SCP-XXXX's origin is unknown and could have existed 1000's and traveled all across the world.

Addendum: [Right after picking up the coin, d-class personnel report feeling happier and looking forward to the rest of the day, generally lifting their spirits. Although when presented with a vending machine behind glass, the d-class become restless and uneasy, making their way toward the vending machine. They appeared to see giving the coin away as a necessary evil when questioned, still knowing what it is capable of. They were shot shortly afterward, refusing to cooperate.]
