Item#: SCP-5116
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5116 is supposedly contained within SCP-5116-1, but by current knowledge it is considered neutralized, and can no longer manifest, (see document 5116-b) when certain parameters are met, as seen in incident reports 5116-c through e. However, by order of the O5 Council, this document is not permitted to elaborate on how to manifest SCP-5116 as to not cause further loss of life.
SCP-5116-1 is to be restricted in a concrete 10m x 10m x 15m containment cell. [1] SCP Foundation Researcher shall be assigned to carry out the 5116-Forestall Procedure where a minimum of 2 tablespoons of DNA must be deposited into SCP-5116-1 (for more explicit detail see document 5116-a below) before 22:00. Failure to carry out this procedure shall result in termination. Personnel discovered in SCP-5116-1's containment area without proper clearance from Level 4 personnel will be questioned thoroughly, failure to comply with Foundation Security or meet the requirements of document 5116-c (psychological evaluation concerning interactions with 5116-1) will be terminated.
(Footnote: At this current time Dr. Fredrick Callaghan is the current handler of SCP-5116-1 after [DATA EXPUNGED] and is therefore responsible for all incidents concerning SCP-5116-1 as of ██/██/██.)
SCP-5116-2 must constantly be accompanied by separate Foundation personnel assigned to the SCP. Personnel assigned to SCP-5116-2 found more than 25m away from the SCP will be terminated. SCP-5116-2 is allowed to wander the site with clearance from Level 4 personnel, but must be swayed from entering the wing containing SCP-5116-1. Personnel assigned to SCP-5116-2 shall be switched out every 72 hours, though personnel assigned to SCP-5116-2 shall be permitted to be assigned longer with clearance by 3 or more Level 4 personnel. SCP-5116-2's cell is to be furnished with at least one chair, table, hygiene facility and CD player. A 1m long, 0.0508m thick, 2m high, steel door is to be fitted, with a food slot that can lock and can resist 8,500 pounds of force.
(Footnote: By approval of Level 4 personnel: [Redacted], [Redacted], [Redacted] and [Redacted] have approved the permanent installation of D-Class personnel D-7321 as handler of 5116-2. By request of Dr. Fredrick Callaghan's request a profile of D-7321 can be found below. As the current handler of SCP-5116-2 is therefore responsible for all incidents concerning SCP-5116-2 as of ██/██/██.)
BY NO MEANS shall SCP-5116-1 shall be seen by SCP-5116-2, for fear of "The Genesis Protocol" (see report 5116-c below).
Description: SCP-5116 is a [Redacted] with [Redacted], only manifesting when SCP-5116-1 and 2 met and initiate "The Genesis Protocol" (see report 5116-c). SCP-5116 is claimed to be sentient by most reports, though this can just be [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-5116 will actively seek and kill personnel, [Redacted] them while [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP-5116 will not kill organisms or SCPs
whose DNA was used in the creation of SCP-5116-a(s), but will still [Redacted] them. The current hypothesis on this action is that [DATA EXPUNGED].
SCP-5116-1 is a 5m x 5m x 9m steel-alloy box, lacking any scratches of any kind even after being fired upon. One side of the SCP contains a panel consisting of a keyboard, a series of color-coded buttons, 4 distinct levers each labeled in Mandarin, though the keyboard appears to be labeled in English.
According to Foundation Translators the levers appear labeled as:
Purple Coded: "Prepare Biomass Distribution"
Blue Coded: "Begin Process"
Green Coded: "DNA Reconstruction"
Red Coded: [DATA EXPUNGED]
(Footnote: Due to Incident 5116-13 the all information about the Red Coded lever has been expunged.)
Another side contains a trough that is only accessed when the Purple Coded lever is pulled down. Only organic material is to be placed in the trough of SCP-5116-1 as the SCP will [DATA EXPUNGED] resulting in the deaths of all organic personnel within SCP-5116-1's containment cell and personnel examining SCP-5116-1's containment area at the time. This trough when opened appears to lead into a pocket dimension as the depth perceived within the area within SCP-5116-1 is larger than what it should be. On the side flanking the front of SCP-5116-1 is a large door made of steel and, from further investigation, a material similar to human bone marrow. A large trapdoor can be found atop SCP-5116-1, which opens when the Red Coded lever is pulled resulting in [DATA EXPUNGED]. The SCP-5116 can communicate through a speaker hidden upon it, the specifics of its location are still up for debate, as well as it being either a speaker or crude psychic communication. By no means is SCP-5116-1 sentient, but appears to repeat prerecorded messages. For research purposes all prerecorded messages have been recorded by [the late] Dr. ███████████ and Dr. Fredrick Callaghan, who is the now current handler of SCP-5116-1.
SCP-5116-1 is a machine that can successfully merge DNA of different creatures and even SCPs with human DNA. All humanoids produced by SCP-5116-1 are to be designated as SCP-5116-1a. With most instances the newly formed SCP-5116-1a steps out of SCP-5116-1, with exceptionally detailed survival skills and innate awareness on their own anomalous and/or natural abilities. When merging DNA, depending on DNA samples used (such as specific limbs organs, etc.) different results are yielded (see report 5116-d). The machine also has the apparent ability to resurrect humans and humanoid SCPs. When given a sample of a deceased persons DNA, SCP-5116-1a will step out of the machine as if they just were awakened from deep slumber, retaining all memories, excluding memories leading up to the death of deceased persons. SCP-5116-1a retain the corporal form the deceased persons as well, persons losing their physical forms prior to being revived reviving in the last body they inhabited as well as additional survival skills.
When given the DNA of a human who isn't deceased and no DNA to merge with, a humanoid, which is to be designated SCP-5116-1c, falls out mirroring the body of the person who deposited the DNA, matching every scar, tumor, amputated limb, etc. if any; though the SCP-5116-1c lacks a skeletal structure, the left kidney, the brain, the gastrointestinal tract and the genitals. After 3 minutes these parts do eventually appear within the machine, barring the skeletal structure. Most SCPs that are inherently carnivorous have shown to accept SCP-5116-1c as feed, barring some exceptions. A minimum of 5 Level 4 personnel must approve the use of SCP-5116-1c as feed for certain SCPs and the handler assigned to SCP-5116-1 fulfills the requirements of document 5116-a.
If SCP-5116-1 is not provided with organic material by 22:00, SCP-5116-1 begins the production of SCP-5116-1b, capable of producing [10] SCP-5116-1b in under a minute. SCP-5116-1b is a faceless bipedal humanoid that stands a 10m tall, with 6m upper and lower appendages that each house 3 joints. SCP-5116-1b lack external fingers and toes though they have segments of bone similar to primates that extend and retract out of the ends of their upper and lower appendages when needed for grabbing. An autopsy of SCP-5116-1b has a skin about an inch thick and is extremely rubbery. SCP-5116-1b lacks any internal organs, only being filled with skeletal structure and an extremely acidic liquid that affects only organic material, dissolving the material into a surprisingly nutrient rich paste. SCP-5116-1b is comprised of DNA strands of multiple different species and genes of multiple different people, their DNA structure surprisingly stable despite the conflicting DNA. It is hypothesized to be built this way as residue from all the biomass accumulated in SCP-5116-1. SCP-5116-1b will seek out the nearest supply of organic material, and will attack Foundation staff and organic SCPs and bring them to SCP-5116-1 to supply it organic material. SCP-5116-1b will collect roughly 2,000 kg (4409.245 lbs) before crawling into SCP-5116-1 through the trough on the side of SCP-5116-1. SCP-5116-1 will then cease production of SCP-5116-1b.
SCP-5116-2 is a french-door fridge containing multiple vials of DNA, predominantly blood and brain tissue, a KitchenAid Blender and a thermos of cold black coffee along with a freezer of severed limbs of varying size and species. SCP-5116-2 is 0.762m x 0.762m x 1.778m, and steel-alloy similar to SCP-5116-1 if not the same. SCP-5116-2 is apparently sentient, and very social, often engaging Foundation staff in conversation, the topics mostly concerning with survival skills, creation and "the stagnation of bluegrass music". SCP-5116-2 has a metallic appendages on either side of it, and are both capable of folding onto its sides to ease movement through spaces it can just barely fit through. SCP-5116-2 has treads similar to that of a tank, like that of a German Panzerkampfwagen, to move autonomously and without changing vertical orientation as it has pistons beneath it to extend and retract to balance the SCP. If SCP-5116-2 is not in a vicinity of 20m of a humanoid organism, SCP-5116-2 will seek out SCP-5116-1 to initiate what SCP-5116-2 calls "The Genesis Initiative".
Discovery: SCP-5116-1 and 2 were found in an abandoned warehouse currently being squatted in by [DATA EXPUNGED],[DATA EXPUNGED],[DATA EXPUNGED],[DATA EXPUNGED], and [DATA EXPUNGED], each being detained and designated POI-5116-a to e. The warehouse was brought to the attention Foundation as humanoids were spotted with traits not to dissimilar to those of the Muridae family (rodents). POI-5116-a to e were found worshiping SCP-5116-1 as close friends [DATA EXPUNGED],[DATA EXPUNGED], and [DATA EXPUNGED] were attacked by 6 instances of SCP-5116-1b abducting them and placing them in SCP-5116-1's trough. POI-5116-b and e investigated SCP-5116-1 accidentally creating SCP-5116-1a1, a humanoid with the head of genus Rattus. POI-5116-a
