[Current WIP. All feedback is welcome, and loved!]

[Basic idea is an SCP who appears all over the world, observing the Foundation and the SCPs within, but only going so far as communicating with other, sentient SCPs and occasionally killing Foundation personnel who interrupt its talks. Not much of the general "pants shittingly scaring" stuff that I see normally in the SCP-verse, but it's what I got so far.

… This will probably go away once I get the SCP actually done. Well, if, anyway, since I'm new. We'll see though!

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: No Containment procedures have been devised for SCP-XXXX itself. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be contained on-site in their previous residence, and all video capturing devices are to be removed and replaced with microphones.

Description: [Still WIP]

Despite not having any visible mouth, SCP-XXXX is capable of communication, speaking primarily English. It is currently unknown if SCP-XXXX is capable of speaking other languages.

In all sightings, SCP-XXXX excretes an unknown black substance that quickly dissipates when in contact with any solid surface. When in an indoors environment, this substance will rapidly generate on any possible entrance or exit to the room, and harden. In this state, all entrances will become unable to be opened in its normal way until SCP-XXXX leaves, in which case the substance will rapidly dissipate. However, entrances affected by this substance can still be broken through normally, though SCP-XXXX show intense hostility if interrupted this way (See Interview SCP-XXXX-A [WIP]). In addition, SCP-XXXX appears to be capable of using this substance as a form of transportation, showing the ability to walk out of and into large masses of this substance.

Currently, SCP-XXXX-1 is otherwise known as D-8549, and is a Asian male, 30 years of age, 175 cm (5’7”), and 70 kg (154 lbs). SCP-XXXX-1 is non-anomalous, except for the fact that they are the only known human subject SCP-XXXX will communicate with. SCP-XXXX is non-hostile and friendly to SCP-XXXX-1, but will attack any personnel who attempt to disrupt communication between the two.

Addendum: The following is an "interview" between SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 during initial sighting on ██/██/████.

Foreword: Initial recording during first sighting of SCP-XXXX to SCP-XXXX-1. Cameras were functional until SCP-XXXX blocked out visual feed.

[Substance attributed to SCP-XXXX begins to grow on cell door and back wall. Growing continues for several seconds before D-8549 notices, standing up from his chair, turning to the door]

D-8549: What the…

[SCP-XXXX then steps out of the back wall. Substance continues to spread]

SCP-XXXX Hello there, Mr-

D-8549 HOLY SHIT [Subject takes several steps back from SCP-XXXX, knocking over his chair in the process. At this point, substance from SCP-XXXX blocks out camera footage]

SCP-XXXX: Ah, my apologies, I did not mean to startle you. Please, Mr. Oniji, [Sounds of a chair being moved are heard. D-8549 later confirms that this was when SCP-XXXX used its tail to prop the chair back up] take a seat.

[Pause for a few seconds, before chair is moved again. D-8549 audibly gulps before continuing]

D-8549: What… The hell are you?

SCP-XXXX: Nothing this Foundation could really get, unfortunately. I’m mostly here to say hello, Mr. Oniji… And let this Foundation know I’m here.

D-8549: What are you meaning?

SCP-XXXX: I’m saying exactly what you are thinking, Mr. Oniji. Specifically, that this Foundation… Well, it has had plenty of wake up calls. This is just a small alarm for them.

[At this point, banging can be heard from outside of the room, indicating Security Personnel have arrived]

SCP-XXXX: Now now, there’s no need to panic. I’m sure they won’t terminate you just from me being here. And besides, we have time. So, please, I’m here to let you ask the questions here, Mr. Oniji.

[Another short pause]

D-8549: Alright… [A deep breath is audible] So you’re here to just talk.

SCP-XXXX: Correct.

D-8549: But, why? And why me?

SCP-XXXX: As I said before, the Foundation should know I exist. Since, of course, one should know who is watching from the sidelines. As for you… [pause] … I suppose the simple answer is that I prefer having a… Contact in the Foundation. Someone who I can talk to. So, you were the best for that.

D-8549: Why?

SCP-XXXX: Your calmness towards my appearance, mainly.

D-8549: I wouldn’t say I’m calm.

SCP-XXXX: Honest at least, I like that. But, I can see that you’re only going to ask me pointless questions on “what”, “where”, and “why”-

D-8549: I wasn’t-

SCP-XXXX: So allow me to make my point. This Foundation cannot hold me. To try is futile. But, this place interests me, and has for… Quite a long time. Longer than I can remember as of now. [Pause for several seconds] … Which is why I wish to simply… Watch. Observe. Both the creatures and items this place holds, and the Foundation as a whole. Unfortunately, I am stressed on time, so allow me to leave you with one thing, Mr-

[At this point, door is blown open by a remote explosive. SCP-XXXX immediately becomes hostile, attacking and killing 10 Security Personnel before fleeing the Site. D-8549 did not attempt escape and was easily recontained.]

Closing Statement: For our first sighting of SCP-XXXX, this raises several questions. Knowing that something’s watching us is bad enough, but seeing it tear through our Security Teams… It’s unnerving to think something like that is watching us. We’ll be keeping D-8549 under heavy surveillance, however. Speaking of which, D-8549’s previous anger management has significantly improved since encountering SCP-XXXX, and he’s proven to be a lot calmer than normal. We’re not sure if this is an effect given off from SCP-XXXX to SCP-XXXX-1, but weĺl have to try out some tests regarding it.

Addendum: Since the first encounter with SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX has been sighted observing certain areas around the world. These areas include:

Site 19 - 15 recorded times.
Area 354 - 3 recorded times.
[DATA EXPUNGED] - 20 recorded times.
██████, Germany - 1 recorded time.
Joppa, India - 1 recorded time.

In addition, SCP-XXXX has reappeared to converse with SCP-XXXX-1 three times. Unfortunately, personnel were unable to get more information about SCP-XXXX, due to it appearing for more casual conversation, and avoiding questions prewritten by Foundation personnel, or questions concerning its nature.
