Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid Neutralized
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently located in ████████████, Palulu County, United States of America. Attempts to contain SCP-XXXX are underway at the time of writing.
By O5 Council Ruling XXXX-3 on 4/█/19██, SCP-XXXX has been reclassified as Neutralized as a result of Incident XXXX-A, rendering former Containment Procedures outdated. No special containment procedures are in effect as Provisional Area-██ has been dismantled and supervision of ████████████ has been transferred to the US Military and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Description: SCP-XXXX was a humanoid entity, dark grey in color and measuring approximately 2 meters in height. SCP-XXXX's arms and legs were unnaturally long, lacking human features such as fingers or palms, but able to exert incredible force and crush a human skull with little to no effort. SCP-XXXX displayed a certain intolerance to natural light, although the exact extent of the damage natural light could cause SCP-XXXX is not known.
SCP-XXXX lacked facial features such as eyes (although presenting vestigial eye holes) or ears, presenting a mouth with sharp teeth that could open up to 1.3 times the length of a normal human mouth, facilitating the creature to bite off heads of animals. It is speculated that this, along with the lack of perceived weak spots such as eyes or ears, are all results of evolution, giving the entity an advantage in hunting.
SCP-XXXX was initially located in ████████████, Palulu County, USA, when a local military installation detected an unusual heat signature in the nearby forest located South of the town. The heat was emanating from a location ███ meters inside the forest, and quickly spread to encompass the entire forest. Initially blamed on faulty equipment, it was later discovered that indeed something resided inside the forest. Provisional Area-32 was established encompassing the entirety of the town and forest and Foundation operatives infiltrated two Field Agents inside the town's residents: Agent Mason ██████ and FBI Special Agent Emilio Monterojo (the FBI was involved on the express request of the military). Initial contact between the agents and SCP-XXXX is logged as Document XXXX/a, detailed in Addendum XXXX/a. A few hours after, at around 5:00 AM, Palulu County Police Chief █████ Cooper established contact with the █████ █████████ Military Base, informing them that SCP-XXXX attacked the town's population. After a strike by the US Airforce, exploration teams found SCP-XXXX's remains inside a crater. Area-32 was decommissioned 3 months later after thorough investigation of the town and forest, and control passed down to the US Federal Government. ████████████ was subsequently erased from every virtual map and the US Government has issued a public apology for listing a military installation as a town.
The following is a transcript of the events that occurred on 3/█/████. Context-wise, Foundation Field Agent Mason ██████ and FBI Agent Emilio Monterojo detected a heat signature leaving the forest and heading towards the town. Upon informing Area Command, they were instructed to follow and identify the entity. Contact was expressly forbidden.
Captain ████████: Team A, how copy?
Agent Monterojo: Solid copy, Captain.
Captain ████████: Good. Report on your findings.
Agent ██████:Sir, we have located a large heat signature five to seven minutes ago, at the edge of the forest. We tracked it into the town and we called as soon as it entered.
Command: It entered the town?
Agent ██████: Yes, sir. Entity is currently standing on a water tower 82 meters from our position here. Any orders, sir?
Command: Pursue but don't engage or make contact. Be ready to defend yourselves, though. The SCP can still attempt to harm you.
Agent ██████: Acknowledged.
The two agents pursue the creature to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the town, 100 meters West of the local junkyard.
Agent ██████: Command, we've lost sight of the SCP.
Command: Inspect the premises.
Agent ██████: Copy. Safeties off, back to back. Let's go!
The two agents push to approximately half of the deposit, when they decide to split up and cover more ground, on the orders of Captain ████████
Agent Monterojo: I think I have something here. Look, there! Shoot it! Shoot it!
Agent ██████: Wait, don't…!
Frantic gunshots are audible for about 12 seconds, after which Agent Monterojo's camera and microphone feed are interrupted. Agent ██████ managed to escape and reported back to the safe house at 1:27, where Foundation personnel handled his injuries.
At 2:56 AM, Foundation personnel at █████ █████████ Military Base lost SCP-XXXX's heat signature, rendering any localisation effort useless. With Agent ██████ incapacitated and no one else inside the town to act as liaison, communications and surveillance dropped. Reinforcements were requested only after Agent ██████ was debriefed. After approximately 2 hours, local police chief █████ Cooper established contact with the military base, informing them that SCP-XXXX had entered the town and started a 'massive bloodbath'. He also specified that, although the town was 'barely keeping him in check' in the town square, it was actively trying to make its way towards an apartment complex near the local police station, presumably to escape. The Foundation ordered immediate mobilization of MTF Rho-██ (the reinforcements requested), and ordered them into the town to capture the SCP. Foundation Command however lost contact with the team some time after their entry into the town. Closer observation of the town indicated little to no light was present. Chief Cooper stated that the creature had been ripping out lamp posts and other light sources, later confirmed as true during exploration of the town junkyard.
At this point, military personnel were showing signs of distress. After Command ordered another attempt at capturing the SCP, Captain Arthur ████████ arrested all Foundation personnel stationed on-site, and ordered the US Airforce to strike the town without evacuating the civilians. Ten minutes later, three planes bombed the city, resulting in ███ casualties. One week later, Foundation operatives of MTF Epsilon-7 located SCP-XXXX's remains in a crater near a residential complex, three blocks away from the police station.
Note: Captain Arthur ████████ was sought by the Foundation Ethics Committee for an interview before his trial. Foundation efforts were, however, useless as the GOC offered immunity to him on the grounds of 'acting under stress' and 'not allowing an anomaly escape'. A deal was later negotiated with the US and UN governments, which passed control over ██████████ to them in exchange for Captain Arthur. The deal was accepted and Captain Arthur ████████ was arrested and sentenced to ██ years prison time. Upon hearing the total death toll, Captain Arthur fainted and remained unconscious for 15 minutes, after which he awoke only to suffer a heart attack and die 3 minutes later.
The following is a log detailing the inspection of the crater caused by the actions of the US Airforce, under orders from Captain Arthur ████████.
Command: D-12978, do you copy?
D-12978: Loud and clear, Command. We've arrived at the crater, and it's a really great sight. At least, if it wasn't full of corpses and if it didn't smell like burnt flesh. What do you want us to do, bag and tag? 'Cause that won't be easy, judging from the fact that I can see some limbs on the balcony of a house.
Command: You are to locate SCP-XXXX, or any part of him that can still be found. If or once you do, you are to report in immediately. We'll send an MTF down there to contain whatever's left. If you find that SCP-XXXX is alive in any part, you are to seek shelter immediately and notify Area Command at once.
D-12978: Got it. Say, Command, how likely is it that we'll be seeing the SCP alive and well?
Command: Focus on the task at hand, let us worry about that.
D-12978: All right, all right. Jeez, just asking…
D-12833: Who's the chick on the radio this time? And don't say she's called Command again or I'll punch you.
D-12978: This particular Command is called Haley.
Command: I can still hear you. I can arrange for you to be reprimanded for this.
D-12833: You can reprimand me any day, ba…
D-12833 is interrupted as he stumbles and falls.
Command: What happened?
D-12978: Why, are you starting to get attached to us? He's fine, he stumbled onto…
D-12978 pauses.
Command: What, what is it?
D-12978: Command, we've found your SCP. Or, at least, a rib cage and some long-ass arm. Only the bones are left, though. Oh, there's a mandible there, too. Doesn't look human to me.
Command: Good. You are to await the arrival of MTF Gamma-2.
D-12833: Anything for you, 'Command'.
D-12833 grunts as he is punched by D-12978
D-12978: You deserved that.
MTF Gamma-3 arrived 10 minutes later and secured the remains of SCP-XXXX, a rib cage measuring 1.55 meters in length and 0.7 meters in width, and two arms, each measuring around 1.2 meters in length. Remains were brought to Site-██ for further study and were then sent to Reliquary Site-██ for safekeeping. Access to SCP-XXXX is to be denied to GOC and US Government personnel, and is also restricted only to personnel who have been assigned to Provisional Area-32, or who have at least Level 4 Security Clearance.
One week after the incident which led to the termination of SCP-XXXX, the Foundation approved a series of exploration missions both into ██████████ and the forest on the outskirts, targeting a number of Areas of Interest, ranging from I to VIII.
This is a log detailing the exploration efforts of Area of Interest I.
D-12978: Command, we're here.
Command: Confirm location, D-12978.
D-12978 (mumbling): We're next to a junkyard. There's a sign that reads Junkyard.
Command: You are clear to proceed.
D-12978: There are several light-posts scattered around. Most seem to be in poor shape, as if they were pulled from the ground. We have also found some other such things as stoplights, pieces of broken cars and some large metal rods, though they might be just junkyard items.
A pause ensues while the four D-Class investigate the remainder of the Junkyard.
D-12422: Oh my God! They're… goodness, what the [EXPLETIVES REDACTED]
D-12422 proceeds to faint.
D-12978: Gloria, what happened? Gloria? Uh-oh.
Command: D-12978, what happened? What's going on?
D-12978: Relax, Command. She's OK, she just stumbled onto some dead bodies. They appear to be mauled and partly consumed.
Command: How many?
D-12978: I count about 12 here, but there may be more spread out across the yard. Or buried under the junk.
After another 42 minutes of searching, Area of Interest I was deemed fully explored, and all D-Class were recalled. A cleanup crew was sent to ID all the corpses and to cremate them. One corpse was identified as FBI Special Agent Emilio Monterojo.
This is a log detailing the exploration efforts of Area of Interest II.
Command: Have you arrived on location?
D-12978: Yes, Command. We have arrived at the Town Square, and have already spotted at least ██ corpses so far. Most of them show signs of struggle and wounds, so probably not victims of that little airstrike stunt. Also, a little side note, most of them are armed with something.
A pause ensues, during which the D-Class were attempting to locate all the corpses in the Town Square.
D-12978: Command, we have cataloged most dead bodies and their weapons. We have gathered 17 firearms of small and medium caliber, 21 blunt objects and 22 sharp objects, 15 of which are knives, saw blades or other such household objects. One guy had a katana. We have also started the Foundation's first flashlight collection. We've already gathered about 80 different models, belonging to over 10 brands. Bidding starts at 13 dollars.
Laughter.
D-12978: We can conclude that a fight broke out here. ██ have died due to loss of blood, but others have been beheaded and some had [REDACTED]. There are also a number of dark grey stains on the pavement, possibly some form of blood.
Command: Copy. Have you found any other unidentifiable material, save for the grey stains?
D-12978: No. A thing we did notice, however, is the absence of light-posts. Probably why almost everyone had a flashlight or two with them. Also probably why we found so many in the junkyard.
Command: Have you finished the exploration?
D-12978: Yes, we have wrapped up every weapon here and cataloged every corpse. Send the forensics guys, they should ID the bodies. And you might want to send some HAZMAT boys here. We didn't touch the grey blood thing but it may be dangerous.
Command: Copy. Head to the next Area.
This is a log detailing the exploration efforts of Area of Interest III.
D-12978: Command, we have entered the apartment block.
Command: You know the drill.
The D-Class proceed to investigate 9 out of 10 floors, reporting nothing out of the ordinary. So far, ██ victims have been found.
D-12978: Command, we are now on floor 10. Three rooms to go.
Command: Copy.
D-12978: Uh, Command, remember how we said nothing was remarkable about the other corpses? All were taken by surprise in their sleep or in their room?
Command: Yes. What about it?
D-12978: We have found the first signs of a real struggle. Door seems to be obstructed or locked from the other side. Permission to blow it?
Command: Granted.
D-15442 proceeds to set up charges and detonates them.
D-12978: If you are in there, stand away from the door! Ramirez, Delgran, safeties on. If there are survivors, we don't want them dead. On my mark. Mark!
The D-Class enter the room and after a quick inspection, deem it safe.
D-12978: Command, we have entered the room and have found no survivors. There is a body here, about 20 years old. Female. Cause of death…huge fucking hole. Her stomach appears to have been slashed open somehow. Poor girl died painfully, probably still screaming, by her facial expression. She doesn't show signs of being attacked other than the aforementioned injury, also not presenting signs of being eaten. She was holding a flashlight… Wait, there are shell casings here! Glock casings scattered around the floor, but we can't find the actual bullets. There may have been a second person here.
D-15442: Josh, what the fuck is that?
D-12978: Ah, God, disgusting. Command, we have found something. It seems to be some huge nest-like thing on the ceiling. The girl and the other person must have spotted it. Judging by these other dark grey spots on the floor, it was our mystery Paluluman that was hanging in there.
Command: Please refer to SCP-XXXX by its proper identification. Who even calls it that?
D-12978: Some of the boys here have started to make fun of it and call it that. Catchy, ain't it?
Command: Certainly not.
The D-Class finish inspecting the building and point out nothing more of interest. Final number of casualties reported were ██.
Note: The 20 year old female's time of death was recorded as 23:13, while the rest were around 2:42.
Note: Areas of Interest IV-VI present no additional unusual or otherwise noteworthy properties/characteristics and have been deemed inessential, and thus removed from this file. Total number of victims discovered amounts to ███, including those in Area of Interest III. Times of death are all approximated around 3:36 AM, specifically: AoI VI- 4:31; AoI IV - 3:15; AoI V - 3:57; AoI III- 2:42. This appears to be linked with the times of death of the bodies in the town square (AoI II), most of them having died at 5:23 AM.
This is a log detailing the exploration efforts of Area of Interest VII.
Command: D-12978, have you arrived at location?
D-12978: Yes, Command. Your boys left me here. What am I supposed to do?
Command: You have each been assigned to 100m of fence. You are to inspect the fence for problems in its infrastructure and search for any other anomalies, reporting them at once.
D-12978: Do you actually think there is something here?
Command: Yes. That's why we've sent you: to find out exactly what.
The D-Class each inspect their portions of the wall and report in. Only problem was identified by D-12978, a tear in the fence about 4 meters wide. Unmanned drones were sent through the gap to find anything that might indicate what SCP-XXXX was doing near the town. After 3 days of exploration, Command received several pictures of an abandoned house 1.5 km in the woods from a drone. The house was designated Area of Interest VIII.
This is a log detailing the exploration efforts of Area of Interest VIII.
D-12978: Command, we are next to the front door of the house.
Command: Copy. Proceed with caution, we don't know what could be in there.
D-12978: Thanks for letting us keep our weapons. At least we won't get mauled without a fight.
The D-Class enter AoI VIII. MTF Rho-23 is stationed 20 meters away from the house.
D-12978: Yeah, so, there's a staircase here, a long hallway and some kitchen. Kitchen and hallway are clear, though they are in very poor condition. House must be abandoned for some while.
Command: Proceed to the next floor.
D-12978: Uh-uh.
Pause
D-12978: There's a camera here, on the staircase. Really dusty, bust seems to be a recent model. Oh, look, more of that disgusting nest-like crap. Command, jackpot. This is where your Paluluman lived, if such a term can be used.
Command: If you refer to SCP-XXXX as 'Paluluman' one more time, you will be reprimanded.
D-12978: What, you're gonna feed me to that [REDACTED] you guys keep as a pet?
Command: You have been warned. Continue the exploration.
D-12978: Oh, gross. We found a corpse. Though it's more like, a skeleton with some rotten flesh on him. Clothes in a state of decay. Probably the unlucky owner of that camera.
Command: Anything else, D-12978?
D-12978: Oh, now you're using my number. So cold and distant. No, Command, nothing else here.
Note: The camera was recovered and footage was obtained, depicting two young men wondering into the house. Around the 12 minute mark, SCP-XXXX can be seen in the nest. The only image of SCP-XXXX was around the 13 minute mark, when the two men were attacked. The image lasts 2 frames and is obsured, partly because of the darkness. Analysis indicates that SCP-XXXX attacked the men once they opened and pointed their flashlights at its nest.
The following is an interview that Agent Mason ██████ sustained with Police Chief █████ Cooper after confirmation of SCP-XXXX's termination was recieved.
Interviewer: Agent Mason ██████, responsible for tracking SCP-XXXX in the early hours of its detection, later injured by the SCP.
Interviewed: ██████████ Police Chief █████ Cooper, one of the few survivors of the incident that led to SCP-XXXX's termination.
<Begin Log>
Interviewer: Hello, mister Cooper. I'm Agent Mason, and I'm here to talk to you about SCP-XXXX.
Chief Cooper: You're with the Foundation?
Interviewer: Yes, have you heard about us?
Chief Cooper: Yes, my brother was recruited by one of your agents in college. He sent us one last letter before he went poof. Know anything about that?
Interviewer: Was your brother Jason Cooper?
Chief Cooper: Yes. What happened to him?
Interviewer: He was killed in Iraq, assisting the Foundation in securing an SCP that Hussein's regime threatened to use against NATO forces. He died a soldier's death.
Chief Cooper: I'll bet. Anyway, back to your question. You want to know more about Paluluman?
Interviewer: That's not the creature's designation.
Chief Cooper: No? One of your guys in armor said that it is. Whatever, the name doesn't change anything. That thing was a monstrosity, an abomination.
Interviewer: We would like to know how you first encountered it.
Chief Cooper: I was responding to a call regarding frantic gunshots in a warehouse1, when I saw a body of a well-dressed man being eaten by something I couldn't make out. The creature disappeared when I pointed my light in its direction, but so had the body. I just presumed it was some bear or wolf. The only thing left was a pool of blood, mixed in with some gray goo. I reported it, but nothing ever came of it. DNA samples would take time to be analyzed, needing to be sent out of county for proper identification.
Interviewer: And after that? Before the battle in the town square, did the creature ever appear again?
Chief Cooper: Yes.
Chief Cooper shifts nervously in his seat and begins sweating.
Interviewer: I know you may not want to do this, but it is critical that we map the creature's path.
Chief Cooper: The creature attacked my apartment complex2. I was coming home from the station. I entered the block, took the elevator and unlocked my room. My daughter was watching TV when I entered. I said 'hi', she said 'hi', I don't know. I started to make something to eat, when I heard a scream from the living room. I got up and ran as fast as I could, only to find that monster inside the room, and my daughter on the floor, backing away from it. I pulled out my service handgun and emptied two magazines in it. Fucking thing didn't even flinch. But it did let out a terrifying shriek, and then leaped from onto the wall towards me. I braced for it, but then…
Chief Cooper begins sobbing, and pauses for half a minute.
… but then I hit the wall. I looked around, and I saw Melissa, and she was… the monster had… and she shed one tear, after that thing…
Interviewer: It's okay, we have everything we need. Thank you for braving your memories, it must have been awful to see such a thing.
Chief Cooper stops sobbing and continues.
Chief Cooper: Yes, so, um, I managed to get out, and wake up whoever I could. I called the precinct, and told them about the monster, but they laughed. I guess someone else called and got mauled on the phone, because they called me back and asked for orders. I told them to wake everyone up and tell them to leave their apartments or houses, and get out into the open. Also, I advised bringing something sharp or blunt or a gun or anything that could hurt an animal. I think we got around [REDACTED] people up, each armed with knives, bats, some with firearms. I split them up, [REDACTED] at the police station and [REDACTED] at the town square. The police station group was untouched, but only because the thing came to the town square. When I saw the bloodbath, I knew we couldn't stop him. So, I ran over to the military base near town. I had been there before, cooperating with the military police, so I knew the guys at the gate, and they knew me. And that's the end of my story.
Interviewer: I should inform you that, due to an error, the town was bombarded by the US Airforce, killing [REDACTED] civilians in the process.
Chief Cooper: Did you get that monster?
Interviewer: We did, mister Cooper.
Chief Cooper: Then that's all I care about.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Access to SCP-XXXX is permitted only to personnel with a security clearece of Level 3 or higher. SCP-XXXX items are not to be transported off-site unless authorised by Site Director Michael Razinski. Should any SCP-XXXX items be exposed to the public, they may cause a Broken-Masquerade Scenario and/or an NK-Class End-of-Normalcy Scenario. As such, upon realising that any SCP-XXXX item is missing, Site-43 is to enter lockdown and initiate the Krasnakht Protocol.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the collective designation of an unknown number of 1960s film reels. Currently, 20 of these film reels are in Foundation custody at Site-43. These items have been individually designated SCP-XXXX-1 through SCP-XXXX-20 and they each depict a reality different to ours, usually in the form of a documentary (see Addendum XXXX/b for a complete list of SCP-XXXX items). The Foundation came into possession of 13 of these items after Incident ███/████, in which MTF Rho-77Upon reaching Site-43, they were given for examination to a number of historians for historical accuracy. Most analysts said that the content SCP-XXXX depicts is so realistic it 'might have happened in an other reality'.
Addendum XXXX/a: The Krasnakht Protocol
The Krasnakht Protocol is to be enacted upon any SCP-XXXX object being labeled as missing from storage. Only personnel with clearance 4/XXXX, the O5 Council or Site Director Razinski can issue a directive ordering the execution of the Krasnakht Protocol.
Upon issuing of the Krasnakht Protocol, Site Command must immediately publish or bring to the people's attention one of the following:
- A short story/novel should be published related to the reality that the lost SCP-XXXX item depicts. Embedded agents inside major publishing companies should push these novels to be released to the public at affordable prices.
- An alternate history mod for a popular video game pertaining to the missing SCP-XXXX is to be released to the general public. Agents embedded in companies such as ███████ ███████████ are to ensure such mods get official recognition and support from the game's developers.
- A movie depicting the events of the missing SCP-XXXX is to be released in cinemas
- Agents embedded in news agencies should do their best to promote the movie/book/mod that the Foundation has released.
This is a list of all SCP-XXXX items in Foundation custody and every reality they depict. For detailed analysis report to SCP-XXXX project lead Dr. Martin Thomas.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Neutralized
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX (now Foundation Site-██) requires no special containment procedures at the time of writing. It is, however, recommended that Site-██'s security detail be increased periodically (+████ men per year). — To that effect, MTF Rho-77 has been founded and assigned to Site-██ for 24/7 security to act in the event of another Incident ██-1-US occurring. —
Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation given to Foundation Site-██ at its recovery on █/██/████, and after withstanding an attack form US forces. It has been deemed important enough for takeover because of Event XXXX/1, a massive power surge recorded by a nearby outpost. After the Foundation recovery team arrived, they were attacked by US Army forces displaying purple berets3.
SCP-XXXX is split into SCP-XXXX-1, the designation given to the majority of the installation's facilities, compounds and vehicles retrieved on █/██/████, none of which are anomalous in any way, and SCP-XXXX-2, designation given to a machine found in Compound PK-██, also retrieved on █/██/████ but discovered 4 days later, after thorough exploration of the installation. SCP-XXXX-1 presents no additional features that are of note, save for Compound PK-██.
Compound PK-██ houses the machine labeled SCP-XXXX-2. It is split into ██ different rooms: rooms number 1-█5 contain a number of parts, blueprints, mathematical equations and theories; rooms █6-██ contain a number of items officially logged as 'UNEXPLAINED'4. Containment has been expanded and a number of these rooms now have special requirements for entry.5
Addendum: By Overseer Directive ██/XXXX, SCP-XXXX-1 is to be removed from under the designation of SCP-XXXX. The device formerly known as SCP-XXXX-2 now bares the designation of SCP-XXXX. Also through Overseer Directive ██/XXXX, the former SCP-XXXX-1 is to be reformed into Foundation Site-██, and is to be given into immediate use by the Foundation personnel stationed there. Because of its former ownership, current location and the fact that it houses SCP-XXXX, Site-██ is to be reinforced periodically until ██/█/████, or until no danger to the Foundation personnel stationed there can be identified.
Addendum: As of now, █/██/████, a total of ████ items have been cataloged and moved to Site-██-1, the Foundation-built part of Site-██, as per standard protocol. Entry into Site-██-1 and the remaining compounds in Site-██ that are still a part of Containment Directive ██/144 is restricted to personnel of at least Level 4 clearance or to personnel with at least 3/██ clearance.
Addendum: Because of recent security concerns, Site-██ and Site-██-1 security personnel have been replaced with Foundation Naval Security forces and the Foundation Ships "Defender" and "Titan Crusher" have been moved to guard the Site. Until a full dockyard is constructed, the naval force will make a weekly 7 hour supply run to nearby Site-1█.
At 19:13, on 17/12/███4, ██ US Army vehicles pulled up 1 km away from guard post ██-115. A man identifying himself as Lt. Commander Caleb Commons ordered the on-duty security officer Johnathan Pierro to let the soldiers through and surrender to the US forces. Officer Pierro called in a code-red emergency and defended the post with three other men, stalling the US forces and allowing Site-██ to prepare its defenses.
At 19:54, the US forces reached the outer wall of Site-██. Naval Security Divisions 1-13 were mobilized and MTF Rho-77 was deployed to guard the headquarters. At 20:00, Lt. Commander Caleb Commons demanded that Site-██ surrender and turn over any and all offensive capabilities, assuring Site Command that no one will be harmed. Site Director Marcus ██████ demanded that the soldiers identify themselves and the branch they belong to, to which the Lt. Commander answered 'US Department of Anomalous Occurrences'. Upon being confronted with the fact that no such department exists, the Lt. Commander dismissed these claims as being 'ignorant' and 'made in the hubris that the Foundation has come to embrace'. The Lt. Commander then asked the Foundation garrison to surrender to the US forces, offering the same terms as the ones that the outpost forces received. The Site Director then refused, and then offered the US taskforce to withdraw, without repercussions. After Lt. Commander Commons rejected the offer, Site Command ordered every available Naval Security division mobilized.
At 21:03, Site-██ had mobilized all of its available 21 Naval Security Divisions and attempted to alert the 'Titan Crusher' and Regional Command, but failed to do either of these. At 21:33, the US taskforce besieged the Site. The siege lasted until 24:11, when the taskforce broke through the walls. At this point, Foundation casualties numbered around 8 Naval Security divisions. The fight then went through until it reached Compound PK-██. At 01:14, the Foundation Ship 'Titan Crusher' returned from its supply run and opened fire on the US forces, razing the majority of Compound PK-██ in the process. The US forces were defeated and reinforcements brought by the 'Titan Crusher', namely 5 Naval Security Divisions, which managed to secure both the remainder of Compound PK-██ and take ██ prisoners, including Lt. Commander Commons.
As a result of this incident, MTF Alpha-1 has been deployed to guard Site-██ for a designated period of █ months. Dockyard construction has been prioritized and all available resources in Region █████████ have been directed towards the Site.
The following is an interview that Commander Jerry ███████ sustained with Lt. Commander Caleb Commons.
BEGIN LOG
Interviewer: Hello. I am [REDACTED]. Let's talk a little about you and your little army you amassed. Who are you?
Lt. Commons: I will not speak to anyone until I am provided a US army attorney and until I am released from this encampment which belongs to the US Army and which you illegally occupy.
Interviewer: Cut that crap. You ain't going anywhere and you violated numerous national and international conventions by attacking a Foundation installation. Conventions which your country signed, by the way. What is your name? And don't even think about lying or avoiding my questions. We can do this all day.
Lt. Commons: I am Lt. Commander Caleb Commons, 12th Division US Department of Anomalous Occurrences. My Military ID is in my backpack, side pocket. You probably already found it though. Heard you guys are meticulous in work.
Interviewer: No person named Caleb Commons is registered as being a member of the US armed forces. No person named Caleb Commons exists or has had his name changed that looks like you.
Lt. Commons: Indeed, in our line of work we can't afford to let anyone know we exist. Not just as individuals, but as a department of the US.
Interviewer: Not even the GOC?
Lt. Commons: No, not even them. See, our Secretary believes that the everyone that thinks the GOC is actually effective is a moron. Often, this includes the US President. The US contributes a token force to the GOC, but we keep the real things for ourselves.
Interviewer: Our people in the US Government will have a field day when we tell them about this. And, you know, the US already has a branch dealing with the anomalous.
Lt. Commons: What, you mean the Unusual Incidents Unit? Ha! Those idiots can't tell brown Play-Doh from fecal matter. They're a joke in every sense of the word. The Iran deal? They failed incredibly. Even your 'Groups of Interest' know how much of a joke they are. We, on the other hand, are the real deal. And the government doesn't really involve itself where money or lives seem to leak.
Interviewer: Who do you report to?
Lt. Commons: General [REDACTED], who reports to the US Secretary of Anomalous Occurrences, who in theory reports to the US President. In practice, he reports to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. We stopped reporting to every president since JFK. He was a real liberal, you know? He wanted us to come clean with all this crap to the public, and said it didn't matter since the USSR already had its GRU dealing with the exact same thing. The Department had to make a call to the FBI… Or was it the CIA? Can't remember, I was just a soldier then. Anyway, you get the rest.
: One more mystery to shelve.
: Quite so. It's just amazing how some nutjobs came so close to finding out the truth in '75…
(Pause)
Lt. Commons: Whoops, that one wasn't for your ears.
Interviewer: Most secret department was almost blown by some conspiracy theorists? You really are American. How many men does the Department employ?
Lt. Commons: Don't know. It's above my paygrade.
Interviewer: Where are its bases?
Lt. Commons: Yeah, not telling you that, chief.
Interviewers: Where are its bases?
Lt. Commons: You deaf or something? We don't spill our shit whenever some big dude with a raspy voice leans over on us. In fact, since you're so close, why don't you get on your knees and [EXPLETIVE REDACTED]?
Interviewer: Very well, then. Tough guy it is. Montez, come in and [DATA EXPUNGED ON THE ORDERS OF O5-██]
END LOG
On █/██/████, █ days after Incident XXXX-2-US, MTF Rho-77 conducted a mutiny by freeing the ██ prisoners that survived their hospitalization after the battle. Along with two Naval Security divisions and the crew of SCPS 'Titan Crusher', they attempted to leave Site-██ and sail to [REDACTED] where they planned on [DATA EXPUNGED ON THE ORDER OF O5-██]. Upon learning that [DATA EXPUNGED ON THE ORDER OF O5-██], they proceeded to leave Foundation control and turn themselves into US custody, hoping that the US Department of Anomalous Occurrences would assist them and grant them immunity. To prevent Foundation technology from leaving Foundation control and entering possible enemy hands, O5-██ authorized the destruction of the 'Titan Crusher'. SCPS 'Defender' and SCPS 'Earl King' arrived and, after a short engagement, sank the 'Titan Crusher' ██ kilometers from the US █th fleet.
As a result, MTF Rho-77 has been dissolved and MTF Alpha-17 has been formed from members of MTF Alpha-1 to further guard the site.
Compound PK-██ was a compound found in Site-██, in the South-Western part, █th in the grid. The 12th and 13th Naval Security Division were deployed to guard the compound until every element found inside could be cataloged. Until Incident ██-2-US, a total of [REDACTED] items were cataloged and filed into ██ categories, based on a number of criteria: [REDACTED]. After the Incident, the compound was secured but presented a lot of damage both to its structure and to [REDACTED], damage that the Foundation technicians managed to repair. During the mutiny of MTF Rho-77, Compound PK-██ was attacked and decimated by the USS 'Titan Crusher', then part of the mutiny. A number of [REDACTED] items have been logged in a total of ██ categories and have been sent to ██ sites for further study, including: Site-81, Site-43, Site-19, Site-██, Site-██, Site-██ and also to [REDACTED].

Was it really necessary?
It was. There was no other way.
They were right, you know. They stood up for what the Foundation stands for. They had every right to renounce our command.
Careful, Six. That's treason talk right there.
Oh, shut up, Ten. We've betrayed everything that we stand for by authorizing that.
It was necessary. They were the only tangible links to a new player in the game. We had to do it because we wouldn't get any other chance to.
Yeah, we acted in the interests of the Foundation and, by extension, humanity.
'By extension'. Always by extension. We're never wrong, are we Ten?
I didn't say that. I said that we weren't in this case. The others agree with me.
Except for Three, One and Thirteen. They don't really endorse this new policy of yours.
Fortunately, Six, we here at the Foundation are a semi democratic institution. The majority holds the vote, so it shall swing the sword. Until we lose the majority, that's the deal.
Unless there's a revolt.
What are you gonna do? Overthrow the Council and endanger humanity? I don't believe it for a single second.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Uncontained Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a room no larger than 5 by 5 by 3 meters in dimension. The room must be illuminated at all times in a proportion of 80%, leaving a corner dark. At no point must the entirety of the containment cell be illuminated. If a power outage would cause the cell to go fully dark, infrared sensors must first ascertain the location of SCP-XXXX before any lights can be turned on.
Addendum: Containment Procedures are no longer in effect as of 4/1█/████.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid entity, approximated to have 1.82 meters in height, presenting certain features such as eye holes and what is believed to be a nose. However, the entity is entirely black in color. It is unknown weather the entity was sapient or not. No further information is available, as SCP-XXXX had to be neutralized when trying to escape containment.
SCP-XXXX was first spotted in Romania, in the year ████, when the entity attacked Romanian Ground Forces Colonel ████ ████████ while he was stationed at a military unit near █████████. After the Colonel identified himself as a member of the armed forces and ordered the entity to stop, SCP-XXXX halted its attack and fled. The Colonel enlisted a number of soldiers from Military Unit ██████, near the outskirts of █████████. Because the number of men was deemed insufficient, the Colonel enlisted the help of about 15 civilians, including the Colonel's father, and issued precise instructions related to the fact that the entity's weakness was apparently identifying yourself as a member of any institution, organization, company etc. while facing the entity. After a 2 hour manhunt, SCP-XXXX was surrounded by the search party and was subdued as each person pointed their flashlight at the entity and identified themselves as members of the ██th Military Police Battalion. Foundation assets arrived only minutes after the entity had been subdued, and took the entity into custody. Upon transport to nearby Site-██ in [REDACTED], Germany, the entity was discovered to be susceptible to light sources, causing it to enter a general state of alarm when it was completely exposed to light. At Site-██, a minor containment breach caused the entity to attempt escape after all the lights in its containment cell were powered on at the same time. New Containment Protocols were put in place to prevent such incidents from happening again.
Foundation operatives, with the help of Colonel ████████ and a source inside the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI), were able to extract a document dating from 19██, in which a secret order from then dictator Nicolae Ceaușescu was issued to the Securitate (the former SRI), ordering operatives to hunt down a creature similar in description to SCP-XXXX. The fact that the order dates back from ████ is concerning, to say the least. So is the fact that Romanian Intelligence were quick to request that SCP-XXXX be transferred into Romanian custody (violating the International Charter on the Anomalous and the Preservation of Consensus Reality). Furthermore, the Romanian Intelligence Police arrested Foundation informant ████ ████ ██████████ only a few hours after he transmitted the document.
Long has the Foundation Intelligence Department been trying to get a glimpse of what Romania knows about the paranormal. What is known is that they have cooperated in most cases. This is a rare exception, and compared to some other Romanian SCPs, like [REDACTED], this one is basically meaningless. Sure, it's sort of human. It may be able to attack you and kill you. It may be sentient, but then again, it may not be. But why the interest and aggression? There is nothing to indicate that this SCP is in any way, shape or form exceptional. Maybe it's the Romanian bureaucracy getting more and more authoritarian. Maybe, and perhaps more sinisterly, it is the effort of a rogue intelligence agency that has been speculated, for quite some time, to run the Romanian government from the shadows.
In any case, efforts are ongoing to study and ascertain what exactly the SRI knows about the paranormal in Romania, and weather it is willing to share with the Foundation. In the event that they are friendly, they should be integrated in the GOC. Otherwise, should they prove hostile, they must be dealt with quickly. They cannot be allowed to compromise the security of Foundation sites and facilities, nor can they be allowed to leak knowledge that would disturb consensus reality. Until sucha time that we no longer consider them a threat, it is the undersigned's recommendation that the Romanian Intelligence Service be classified as a GoI until a time when we can be sure of its allegiance and intentions.Doctor ██████ █████████, head of the Foundation Romania Commission, Doctor ███████ █████, head researcher on SCP-XXXX, Colonel ████ ████████, head of the Foundation Intelligence Commission.

The soldiers worked tirelessly, the few that were left, to repair the walls and the barricades. The battle started with 21 divisions on the Foundation's side, and only 7 were left, or 18 if you counted the reinforcements that arrived last minute. Ten men were making their way through the ruined buildings and over the piles of corpses bearing both the insignia of the Foundation Naval Security Corps and the so-called US Department of Anomalous Occurrences.
"Master Chief Cameron!" a voice cried behind them. Rho-77-1 turned around and looked at the officer standing behind them.
"What is it, sergeant Gabriel?" He asks after taking a look at the soldier's name on the uniform.
"We just wanted to say we're all in your debt. If it weren't for you, the whole thing would have fallen apart and we'd either be dead, or on our merry way to some other Guantanamo. Every man of the 7 divisions owes their life to you and to your mobile task force."
"Just doing our job, sergeant. I'm sorry that we couldn't save more lives here." Master Chief Cameron then saluted and left, along with the other nine men.
"Say, boss, I think they're starting to like us." said Rho-77-4, "Remember how they asked us so aggressively to show our IDs and went out of their way to stop us at every checkpoint?"
"Yeah, let's not get too dramatic here, Jessie. They're doing their job, just as we are. Besides, we're probably going to struggle more with the 5 new divisions."
"How so?"
"I heard they're from Site-19. The Overseers' Layer itself."
"Great. The O5 are meddling in our business again. They just can't keep their hands off these things."
"And what's worse, they seem to have taken a certain interest in this. Ever since those damn heaps of papers they found in Mathews Military Base, they've kept on involving themselves."
"Yeah, I heard that Site-97 is now under O5 jurisdiction." Rho-77-3 chimed in.
"Not only O5 jurisdiction. O5-6 and O5-10 took it upon themselves to keep things clean here." The ten men turned around to see who the man who spoke was. Unable to recognize him, they stood motionless for a number of seconds before 77-1 broke the silence, asking the man about his identity.
"You don't know me, fellas, but I sure as hell know you" he replied, "I'm Jerry McKlemm, Commander of the 25th Naval Security Division and O5 liaison to Site-97. I also happen to be the commanding officer of the 11 divisions that saved your asses last night."
"I'm also convinced that you must be the spirit of every party." Joked 77-4.
"Yeah, you smart-asses are real wise, you know that? Anyway, since you failed miserably here, I am taking over Site-97 and all of its military assets. That means you are now under my direct command."
"That can't be right. Mobile Task Forces have operational autonomy and can only be ordered by…" the commander cut him off:
"I know, but I have a special little piece of paper with O5-10's signature on it that says I can commandeer your sorry little squad. Are we clear?"
"Clear, sir." Cameron gritted through his teeth.
"I expect that attitude to improve. Anyways, come with me. I want to show you someone."
The ten men followed the commander further into the camp, until they reached Compound F-1, where the Foundation had constructed the entry into Site-97-1, and entered. The commander pressed a button and the elevator started to go down. In three seconds' time, they had already reached their designated floor. The doors slid open and commander McKlemm walked out. The rest of Rho-77 was stopped a few meters forward by a number of other MTF operators with crimson armor. They didn't need to look at their shoulder patches to know who they were, but they did so anyway. The black arm grasping the thunder was unmistakable: it was them, Alpha-1. The on-duty officer checked their IDs, took their weapons away and body-checked them before letting them through.
"Like the security? Those guys are much more competent than you ever will be." quipped McKlemm.
"Never say never, commander." retorted 77-1.
They entered another set of doors and entered the room. A single, one-way screen stood between them and Lt. Commander Caleb Commons, who was badly beaten and bleeding. Cameron looked over at McKlemm, who was smiling sinisterly, like a serial killer does when he sees his work.
"He's a pretty picture, isn't he?"
"We thought he was dead, sir. How…?" inquired Jessie.
"See, that's how we're used to rolling. Tight security prevents information leaks in almost all cases."
"Good thing you kept this information away from the prying ears of the people who helped capture him." mocked Kate.
"Some of those people may have told him or the likes of his how our defenses are structured." countered the commander.
"I dare you to find me one!" escalated Michael
"Maybe I'm staring at him right now!"
"Alright, that's enough! Rho-77-8, stand down. We're here to play nice, not to tear each other's careers apart."
"Well spoken, master chief. Anyway, the point is that this bastard lied to us. There is no Department of Anomalous Occurrences or any other dumb shit like that. He confessed after we pressured him a little. They're in the employ of the US Army, and they belong to something called the 'Anomalous Phenomena Corps' or something like that. Wasn't lying about how secret it is, though. Neither was he lying about that JFK thing he said."
"Great, we have enough to put away some hundreds of conspirators and dismiss some other tens of thousands of potential rival soldiers."
"This ain't exactly Kansas no more, Dorothy. Nobody knows that they exist. Certainly no one that would be able to prosecute them, and we can't bring any evidence that they do because that would show that we…uh…"
"…Broke several signed conventions with the US Government by torturing unarmed prisoners that belong to the Unites States? Yeah, I can see how that can be a problem."
"Look, it was all done in the Foundation's interests. We couldn't afford to lose the info."
"I see. And the others? How many were lost in this enhanced interrogation of yours?"
"Eighty-two." the Commander replied, and added quickly "But that number is really insignificant if you don't know the total number of prisoners."
"Yeah, guess so." Cameron nodded, but shivered to himself: he knew what the total number of prisoners was. And he shivered again after he realized that they had killed two thirds of all prisoners.
"Master chief? Master chief? You hear me?" McKlemm's voice snapped him out of his terror.
"What?" Cameron blurted.
"You can go back to your quarters. And next time, you will address me as Commander!"
"Yes, sir."
"Good, dismissed."
MTF Rho-77 was making its way towards the barracks, passing more of the bodies and rubble. Suddenly, Rho-77-10 turned to Cameron:
"Don't you find this disgusting? It's a betrayal of everything that we stand for, everything that the Foundation stands for."
"And what do you want me to do? I am now a subordinate to a man that has no regard for ethics, the Site Director has been called to Site-19 for questioning, the Site Security Director is in one of those body bags and the Ethics Committee liaison has been taken off-site because of some bogus 'treason' charges. There is no one to call out to."
"But there are some others. The men at this site! You saw how they followed you, how they thanked you! Don't you think that they would find this shocking too?"
"So what? Their duty, just as ours, is to the Foundation."
"But these people have spat on everything that the Foundation upholds! Just talk to sergeant…what-was-his-name?"
"Sergeant Gabriel. I'll think about it."
And they continued their way, but as they passed the ruins of Compound AM-12, what used to be a gymnasium, they saw ten US soldiers lined against a wall and executed by the Naval Security divisions.
"What the hell is this?" shouted Cameron as the bodies fell to the ground.
"Stay out of this, sir. You have no jurisdiction over us."
"Who authorized this?"
"Our orders come from the O5 liaison to Site-97. We can give you the priority code, if you want."
"That won't be necessary. You new here?"
"Yes, sir. I'm with the 23rd, brought here Friday night."
"Understood. Get back to…whatever cruelty this is, soldier."
As they left the scene, Cameron spoke:
"This can't be allowed to stand. I can't let this go on under our noses." raising his voice, he asked:
"Where is sergeant Henry Gabriel? I need to speak to him in Barracks 14."
A man rose from the dozens digging into the rubble and hurried along towards the men. They all entered the barracks and closed the door behind them.
"What is this about, Master Chief?"
"Are you aware that prisoners from the US taskforce are being interrogated and executed without mercy?"
"No, sir. My division, along with the others that survived, has been assigned to reconstruction and damage assessment. We're just turning over boulder and cataloging corpses. The new guys have taken over guard duty and site security."
"And are you also aware that MTF Alpha-1 has been transferred to here?" inquired Cameron further.
"What? Alpha-1? That must be a joke, right? We'd have seen them if they had."
"Obviously not. They're guarding level 4 of Site-97-1. Especially, Lt. Commander Commons."
"Commons is alive? I swear we shot him on the field."
"He's alive, and is being interrogated by McKlemm. Two thirds of the US taskforce that were captured are now dead, preparing to be incinerated."
"What, they didn't make it through surgery?"
"No. They didn't survive McKlemm's enhanced interrogations. Commons was bleeding from every part of his face except his eyes, which were swollen. They've managed to pull some info off of him, classified stuff. There's no Department of Abnormalities, they were behind the death of JFK and probably more that they didn't tell us."
"Two thirds…" Gabriel's empty stare shifted towards the compound which housed the entrance into Site-97-1, hatred swelling in his eyes, "What do you need me to do?"
"Talk to some of your guys, maybe reach out further. We have to stop this, everything. Meet us tomorrow, here, and we'll talk some more."
The night, few got any sleep, and those that did tossed and turned restlessly, fearing what would come. The next morning, Gabriel was waiting near the compound. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, Cameron stepped out of the barracks.
"Good morning, sergeant! Have you discussed our plan with your fellow soldiers?"
"Yes!" Gabriel's face was radiant.
"And?"
"We've got all 7 of the remaining divisions on our side. We can begin right now, everyone is ready."
"Great. Signal them, and come with us. Rho-77, gear up!"
In a few minutes, everyone was ready. No men were working on the reconstruction, the streets were empty and corpses were thrown out everywhere, covered in blankets. There was no one there to clean them and tag them. Everyone was in their barracks, silently waiting for their turn to play their part. Only eleven men walked down the street, confident in their abilities and fearful that they may fail. They approached compound F-1, and Rho-77-1 addressed one of the Alpha-1 men:
"We request access into Site-97-1."
"Present identification and state reason for entry." commanded one of the men.
"Mobile Task Force Rho-77, along with Naval Security Sergeant Henry Gabriel. We are here to relieve O5 liaison to Site-97 Jerry McKlemm of his commanding authority over this site and all personnel stationed here."
"I'm afraid that isn't possible. O5 authority supersedes yours, and for that matter, you're under arrest for attempting to illegally relieve a superior officer of his command." The men pulled out their pistols, but the eleven men were quicker, managing to knock them out before they had the chance to scream. Cuffing them and tying them to a pole, they moved on and entered the site. Going straight to level four, they got out of the elevator fast enough to dodge the bullets, and in just enough time to fire back, hitting the men in front of them. Moving further, they reached the commander's offices, bursting through the door and pointing their weapons towards the man seated at the desk.
"What is the meaning of this? Rho-77-1, you are hereby ordered to lay down your weapons and explain your actions!" bellowed McKlemm.
"You are under arrest, sir, for violating numerous bilateral US-Foundation and GOC-Foundation by executing prisoners without a trial or right of appeal, or asylum to their respective governments, as well as for the torture and illegal information extraction from them, which has led to more than two thirds of them to be killed."
"My actions are upheld by the O5 Council through the Empowerment Letter that they have issued me. I have thus merely exercised my authority as acting Director of Site-97. You are attempting to remove me from office on a bogus charge."
"That so? I guess the O5 will have to testify to that, once we meet them at Site-19."
"Site-19? Ha, you expect them to welcome you peacefully?"
"Once we inform them that we have both you and Lieutenant Commons, I believe they will."
"What, you're freeing Commons? That makes you traitors. More so than just arresting me."
"We beg to differ. Sergeant Henry Gabriel has freed every last one of the prisoners, who are now en-route to the SCPS 'Titan Crusher', whose crew has joined us. Your eleven divisions, well, more like ten since one has joined us, are under arrest in their bunks. The Site is placed under siege, and all members of Alpha-1 are to be detained on sight."
"You won't get away with this!"
"No need, we were never planning to. Evelyn, Kate, escort the former commander to the ship. The rest of you, help the prisoners. I will catch up with you."
Rushing out of the site, they hurried to the closest APCs and made their way towards the improvised docks, where the 'Titan Crusher' was waiting. Suddenly, the APC that housed Evelyn and Kate blew up, along with McKlemm. Fifteen men or so rose up from behind some rubble and opened fire on the convoy, damaging some of the armored cars. Facing heavy fire, and seeing that one soldier was lifting a high powered EMP weapon, Michael smashed his Humvee straight into one of the rows, preventing Alpha-1 from stopping their escape. The other row dispersed after they were hit with heavy machine gun fire.
Having made their way aboard the ship, Rho-77 took a moment to remember their lost comrades, after which they set sail towards Site-19. One of the men that they managed to carry on the ship was a senior commander bearing Alpha-1's markings, so they naturally took to questioning him. After a long twenty minutes, the officer finally confessed that it was the O5 that ordered the prisoners to be subjected to enhanced interrogation. The others couldn't believe it. Just then, an engineer popped his head through the door and announced:
"The O5 are on the line and requesting to speak to the man in charge here."
Cameron stepped up and took the radio.
"This is Rho-77-1, Cameron Kornstur. Who am I speaking to?"
"We know you very well, master chief Kornstur. This is O5-10 on the line. We ask that you specify the reason of your mutiny."
"Don't play around with us. One of your men confessed to your condoning of torture and beatings. You can't fool us now." A long pause followed.
"Ah, I see. You realize that it was in the interests of the Foundation then, don't you?"
"No interests are worth betraying everything that we stand for - that you were supposed to stand for."
"Only so that we may better protect humanity. We can't operate while we know that there's a foreign entity essentially acting against us. We needed to know more about them."
"So, what is it that you've learned, besides the fact that there is no Department of Abnormalities, and that it is actually a US Army Corps?"
"An Army Corps that employs 700,000 men and women, minus the command staff. It is headquartered at the Steve Carmichael Military Base, near Palululand, in Palulu County."
"Isn't that the place where that Air Force commander, Arthur…"
"Precisely. Now you can see why we harbor such an interest for this corps. Along with the prospect of solving many mysteries that we used to wonder about. By killing JFK, they did both us and the GRU a favor, be it knowingly or not. Anyways, we diverged… We are willing to grant you and your crew full immunity to any and all charges and we're also willing to assign you to training future MTFs at Site-43."
"Doesn't matter, we're not going to come back to you. We're 15 kilometers away from the US 8th fleet, and at this rate we'll be there in less than 4 hours."
"So you have made your decision, I see. Very well. I give you my word, you'll all go down with this ship and every semblance of honor you ever had will be ground to dust!"
Not a second later, the channel shut down. Cameron turned to the others, a grim look darkening his face. They all knew what they had to do. Suddenly, alarms started to sound loudly throughout the ship. The deck officer popped his head through a door:
"Sir! The Titan Crusher's radar reports two foundation ships closing in on our sides!"
"Evasive maneuvers! All men must take up gunnery positions! Prepare for engagement. The rest of you," he said, turning to Rho-77 "Come with me."
They walked through the ship that was rocking with every blow received from the other ships, until they finally reached the command deck. The whole crew looked up as they entered. One comms officer turned on the radio and keyed in a broadcast to all Foundation frequencies. Getting on the observation platform, Rho-77-1 began: "This is Master Chief Cameron Kornstur of Mobile Task Force Rho Seventy-seven. In a few hours, you'll hear any number of things about us, but what we offer now is the truth. We are the few. We are the few that have decided to stand up to the Foundation's behavior, to denounce their tactics and their unethical approach to this difficult situation. We have stood up to them, and they have repaid us in kind. They have sent their ships to attack us, threatened us and exposed the truth — the Overseer Council is behind this. They have authorized torture and execution without trial of prisoners. What kind of leaders are those that refuse to obey the very laws that are meant to differentiate them from the animals? And more importantly, what kind of people are those who bow their head when the vows they have taken are discarded and willfully lost? I know that this is not what many of you have signed up for, but it is what you are doing now. And if any of you are having second thoughts, know that many of those out there, once your colleagues, are ready to murder you so that you don't get to spill the beans on their crimes. We fight because it is our duty to uphold the rights of men wherever they may be from or whoever their loyalties may lie with. This is why the Foundation was created. And if, in the end, we are the only ones to stand up and take action, know that we shall be the martyrs that died protecting what the Foundation was created to protect." The whole crew started cheering, but they knew that they were heading towards nothing else but their deaths.

NOTE: THE OVERSEERS ARE REFERRED TO BY THEIR RESPECTIVE NUMBERS
O5-1: Good evening, everyone. This meeting is recorded as per standard RAISA procedure.
O5-10: Motion to redact the transcript to remove any and all sensitive parts.
One: Overruled. This transcript will not be redacted in any way, and will be preserved in 5 hard copies at Sites 12, 44, 43, 71 and 19. If there are no more motions or questions, I will move on to the matter at hand.
One: Very well. I have brought you here because of the recent incident which we have unfortunately had the displeasure of having to handle. The recent mutiny of Mobile Task Force 77 will be the main point of discussion of this session, along with any other points that may be raised along the course of this session. To anyone who may not be up to date, or whom may need a reminder, the incident was handled by Overseers 10 and 6, as it fell under their respective jurisdiction.
O5-7: Why was the Council not consulted on this matter?
Ten: Due to the circumstances, we deemed that quick action was necessary.
Seven: So you decided to act on your own?
O5-6: For the record, we disagreed regarding which course of action we should follow. Overseer 10 favored the direct approach, and the commander of the SCPS 'Earl King' agreed with him. I favored an approach which would not leave a total of 244 Foundation personnel dead. Not to mention that we have lost Lieutenant Commons, the only high-ranking official that we could capture, along with teh others that survived the interrogations.
O5-2: Why did you consider that torture was warranted in order to extract information out of the prisoners?
Six: I didn't. This was Overseer Ten's suggestion to Acting Site Security Director Jerry McKlemm, and just like the first time, it was welcomed.
O5-8: So, Overseer Ten, you have decided by yourself, while advised otherwise by another Overseer, to break a number of bilateral US-Foundation and GOC-Foundation treaties and conventions?
Ten: Yes, I saw it fit to do so. We could not simply allow the US to not only recover their men, which we took prisoners, but also to acquire a number of Foundation employees, along with Foundation technology.
Two: You overruled another Overseer and destroyed a Foundation vessel, killing almost 300 men in the process. This calls for an internal investigation.
