SCP-XXXX after initial containment.

SCP #: SCP-XXXX

Object class: Euclid

Special containment procedure: SCP-XXXX is kept at site 58 in a 3x3x3 meter reinforced concrete room, these walls are 10 centimeter wide. The organism is kept in 1.5x1.5 meter plant pot. In the containment cell an automatic watering system and an artificial sunlight lightbulb is placed above the organism and is to be cleaned daily. On a monthly basis the soil should be replaced. The artificial sunlight should simulate a daily sun cycle and the watering system should water the plant twice a day with 6-hour intervals between them.

The watering system, artificial sunlight lightbulb and the private backup generator should be monitored weekly by an onsite mechanic. Only level 2 staff members are allowed direct contact with the organism for either mechanical, biological or research purposes.

On the chance that both the main generator and the containment chambers private generator both fail or the containment chamber undergoes heavy damage it’s a priority 1 situation. The organism needs to be contained in a secure holding cell and for staff to properly water the plant to protect the organism from harm.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a flower of unidentifiable descent but with roots that resembles the genus ‘Rosaceae’. The flower is 6 centimeters in height and 3 centimeters in width. The petal, anther and filament of the organism are Purple in appearance and the pollen tube is yellow. Observations indicate that the plant has an inert reproductive system.

SCP-XXXX shows no anomalous properties when given satisfactory amounts of sunlight, water and nutrients. If the entity is given unsatisfactory quantities of these life sources or develops an infection then the plant will start to wilt and anomalous properties manifest. The organism does not undergo any biological changes but starts to alter the immediate environment in a series of stages. (See graph below)

In the beginning stages of SCP-XXXX transformation soil appears in various locations in the immediate vicinity (5 metre radius). The soil created by SCP-XXXX has the designation SCP- XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be the same soil as commonly found in the west hemisphere with no chemical or biological alterations. As the stages progress, the organism replaces pre-existing matter (natural or manmade) with SCP-XXXX-1. In later stages rivers and lakes form in certain instances of SCP-XXXX-1.

A terminated aquatic lifeform created by SCP-XXXX

All plants created by SCP-XXXX are unidentifiable with instances of them becoming aggressive and carnivorous. All living entities created by SCP-XXXX appear to mimic known mammals, avians, aquatic lifeforms, insects and reptiles. The animals start off small (no bigger than 5 meters in width or height), although in later stages they increase in size (no more than 15 metres in height/width) and become more aggressive.

During the earlier stages the process in which manmade or naturally occurring items turn to SCP-XXXX-1 can be stopped if that object or the organism is moved out of radius. In later stages the transformation increases to an almost instantaneous speed. If SCP-XXXX gets satisfactory amounts of the vital energy sources after the changes have commenced, the soil remains but any animals, plants or water created disappears. Due to this, the study of any lifeform created by SCP-XXXX has been impossible.

Acquisition Log

SCP-XXXX was discovered on 6/30/2004 near ██████, Germany, after a rural town ceased all communication with the nearby police forces and any driver that drove through the town vanished. The SCP-site in the area were sent to check on the situation before police forces were sent to the town. When SCP-XXXX was discovered it was in STAGE 6 (see graph above for reference) and a squadron was called to respond to the situation. The team served heavy casualties from plant life and living entities (17 injured, 5 dead). Part way through the SCP containment mission SCP-XXXX entered Stage 7 at which point (REDACTED) started to affect all soldiers. An evacuation notice was ordered and a strategy of firing mortar shell at the area initiated.

The squadron came across a group of religious zealots in a makeshift shack close by. Once asked to leave the premises the group reacted violently with small stone knifes and were detained immediately (See interview below). Once pressured one of the church members explained that SCP-XXXX would stop if given satisfactory water and sunlight. The remaining members of the squadron initiated the process, and once completed all plant and animal created by SCP-XXXX disappeared.

Interviewed- Andrew Connor

Interviewer- Dr █████

Foreword- Believe to be the leader of the religious zealots found during the containment of SCP-XXXX Andrew Connor was strapped into a chair due to his consistent violent behaviour.

<Begin log>

Dr █████- "Hello, how ar" *Interrupted*

Andrew Connor- "You dirty, pathetic sinner you think you could contain gods most sacred artefact and the people who spread the message of the one true god!"

Dr █████- "please calm down and answer some questions"

Andrew Connor- "I’d never answer questions from dirty sinners like you."

Dr █████- "If you are cooperative we can help y" *Interrupted*

Andrew Connor- "As if I’d even consider trusting a dirty, good for nothing, sinner like you."

Dr █████- "I see this interview has lost its usefulness."

<End Log>

Closing Statement: Andrew Connor was removed and terminated due to his violent and uncooperative behavior.

Addendum: During Amelia's time as a class-D she showed increasingly violent behaviour and kept demanding to see her family. On 7/24/2004 she was seen arguing with fellow class-Ds until she used a small carved wall piece to stab and kill 3 class-Ds and injuring one guard who was attempting to detain her, She was eventually detained and terminated.
