Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is kept in a 10m x 5m x 5m room with a mattress deemed "comfortable" by SCP-xxxx. If the mattress is not "comfortable" to SCP-xxxx, a new mattress will immediately replace it. To ensure that SCP-xxxx has no dangerous effects on personnel, SCP-xxxx is to only be quartered in a room containing at least one dream catcher at all times.
Description: SCP-xxxx is a male human child, 8 9 years of age. Subject has the ability to induce dreams and manipulate aforementioned dreams upon anyone sleeping within a radius of approximately 250 meters. Subject reports not having any conscious control over this ability. Despite this, MRI scans show that when subject is manipulating a dream, sections of the brain involved in decision making have an increase in activity. The dreams inflicted by the subject have the interesting property of carrying over any harm done to the affected from the dream to reality. For an unknown reason, SCP-xxxx is unaffected by its dreams no matter how much harm is done. The dreams induced upon others appear to have major similarities to dreams that SCP-xxxx has in its own sleep. It is unknown whether a traditional dream catcher is useful in truly limiting the spread of the dreams, but since added to the room by request of [DATA EXPUNGED], injuries and deaths have gone down significantly. When SCP-xxxx seems to be frustrated, sad, or even restless when it falls asleep, the dreams it spreads to others tend to be more violent and traumatic. Therefore, the above containment procedures have noted that it is necessary to allow the subject a comfortable resting place. The fact that SCP-xxxx suffers from narcolepsy only makes its ability to harm more potent and unpredictable, sometimes even causing personnel to sleepwalk. Because of this, SCP-xxxx should be issued 2 anti-narcoleptic pills with every meal. SCP-xxxx not taking its prescription has resulted in the deaths of █ D-Class personnel and █ researchers. When questioned, subject says that it has "never had a lucid dream… why? Is it because of [REDACTED]?"
