Object Class: Euclid

LSD Dream Demon

This SCP is known for its origin. He supposedly came from the old console game (LSD Dream Emulator).

The myths say who the game (LSD Dream Emulator) long enough plays this figure appears. He comes only after the grey man and the headless woman. If the game is not crashed after the generally known „end“ the dream demon will appear and watch you. If you approach him he will disappear and appear in a new place and observe you again.

After finishing the game he will pursue you in your dreams. He will do it until you completely suffer from sleep deprivation. Other symptoms include: paranoia, bipolar tendencies, loss of appetite and other anxiety states.
He will follow you in your daily life and watch over you.

Most victims usually commit suicide. After that the demon takes charge of your soul and will look for the next victim playing the game.

Special Containment Procedures:
SCP-6060 is contained within a Standard Secure Humanoid Containment Cell in Research Sector-60 at Site-16.The only important thing is that the cell can't have any technical equipment or access to electricity. SCP-6060 must be sedated before any attempts to transport it. During transport, SCP-6060 must be secured within a Class III Humanoid Restriction Harness (including a locking collar and extension restraints) and monitored by no fewer than six armed guards.

While SCP-6060 is generally cooperative with most Foundation personnel, outbursts or sudden changes in behaviour are to be met with elevated force. Under no circumstances should any personnel come into direct contact with SCP-6060 during these outbursts. In the event SCP-6060 becomes aggressive, the application of hallucinations (Anxiety) has been shown to produce a calming effect on the entity. Once calmed, SCP-6060 generally becomes compliant, and will return to containment with little resistance.

In order to facilitate the ongoing containment of SCP-6060, the entity is to be provided with the corpse of a recently deceased animal (typically a bovine or other large mammal) once every two weeks for study. Corpses that become instances of SCP-6060-6 are to be removed from SCP-6060's containment cell and incinerated. SCP-6060 is no longer permitted to interact with human subjects, and requests for human subjects are to be denied.

Body Description: SCP-6060 is a skeleton-like creature, roughly 2.6 meters in height. SCP-6060 appears to be wearing dark mist like robe that's wrapped around him. Usually you can still see his ribcage. He also wears a scrawny crown on his skull. Until now the purpose of the crown was not found out. X-rays indicate that despite this, SCP-6060 does have a humanoid skeletal structure beneath its outer layer.

SCP-6060 is capable of speech in a variety of languages, though tends to prefer English or medieval latain. While SCP-6060 is generally cordial and cooperative with Foundation staff, it can become especially irritated or at times outright aggressive if it feels that it is in the presence of what it calls the "hieroglyphic rosary". Although the exact nature of this hieroglyphic rosary is currently unknown to Foundation researchers, it does seem to be an issue of immense concern to SCP-6060.

Preventing different risks
Since SCP-6060 according to study from the old console game (LSD Dream Emulator) comes. It is kept away from technical things like: games, computers, displays, power cables and other things to bend problems and dangers.

Since the doctors and scientists have not found out much about SCP-6060 so far, top priority is being held. but since SCP-6060 has so far proved very cooperative, it is treated humanely. But they never know if they can trust SCP-6660 or the demon is a manipulative and traitor. Since the attempt to remove the crown-like object from SCP-6060 failed and the scp-6060 reacted very aggressively on it, not much could be found out about the so-called crown and its purpose.

Known information about SCP-6060
his style of speaking and writing indicates an ancient extinct species. SCP-6060 also features the language of latain, hiroglyphic and runic. This information indicates that this SCP is already dead or immortal. Since SCP-6060 is quite new, more information will follow. So far it is not known if scp-6060 is a demonic or spiritual being. Its food, genus, emotions, structure are not yet known.

Further research results and information are still to come…
