Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4556 is kept in a 7x7 meter room made entirely of 4 inch steel. SCP-4556's "wrists" are bound down with metal restraints to make sure SCP-4556 doesn't break out of containment, however restraining SCP-4556 does not fully work for SCP-4556 can turn the restraints into chains. SCP-4556's containment chamber is sealed off with one blast door and 2 normal doors. The blast door should be closed at all times. Testing is rarely done on SCP-4556 to ensure no breaches happen. SCP-4556's chamber has one observatory ways from the ground. Inside of the observatory are two levers. One lever opens the blast door while the other lowers the ground of the containment chamber. Lowering the ground will make it more difficult for SCP-4556 to breach containment. Incase of a containment breach, one or three class D personnel are given magnets and are instructed to pull 4556 back into containment. All personnel must be cautious around SCP-4556. No furniture or any additional items are put in SCP-4556. SCP-4556 is not fed at all, any item can make SCP-4556 stronger.
Description: SCP-4556 is a 6'3 foot tall humanoid creature made entirely out of rusty chains. SCP-4556's insides are completely hollow. SCP-4556's fingers are replaced with long chains that drag along the ground. Its unknown how SCP-4556 sees its "prey" as no organs are present in SCP-4556. SCP-4556 has the ability to turn anything restraining it or anything living into chains. The process of turning organics into chains is said to be extremely painful. SCP-4556 will attack its victims with the long chains on its hands causing intense pain where ever they have been hit at. The chains then begin to pull the victim towards SCP-4556. SCP-4556 will proceed to pick up and grasp its victim and hold them as if "hugging" them. This however causes even more pain. Eventually chains will appear on the body of the victim. Once victim has been fully consumed by chains SCP-4556 will consume the chains causing SCP-4556 to become stronger. SCP-4556 will turn anything small into chains almost instantaneously. This inculdes small animals and small objects such as bullets and knives. SCP-4556 has shown the slightest amount of pain to water. Once water comes into contact with SCP-4556 it will cause SCP-4556 to get "shocked" this will stop all movement in SCP-4556 for 5 seconds. SCP-4556 can stay "inactive" meaning it won't move at all for weeks, months, to even years at a time. Usually when SCP-4556 becomes active after these stages it will turn the objects restraining it into chains causing it to be able to escape containment. SCP-4556 has been seen "sparing" victims, when "sparing" SCP-4556 will attack its victim with the chains on its fingers until they're in too much pain to even get up.
