SCP-XXXX during recovery, 12 days after being rescued

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX can safely reside in a low security habitat. SCP-XXXX is currently housing a basic Class-B furnished chamber at site-██, with the following modifications:

  • A tire swing for recreation;
  • A daily stock of tropical fruits;
  • A second chamber, where SCP-XXXX will perform its psychotherapy sessions1. Any member of the staff and or researchers may enter the room if accompanied by the SCP. This chamber is also used during interviews.

Personal requests for modifications to the containment room must be assessed and granted after approval from Level 4 or higher personnel. During its stay, SCP-XXXX has requested:

  1. A list of furniture for the second chamber, which includes: a psychologist couch and an armchair, potted tropical plants and flavored incense. (Granted)
  2. A bookshelf of encyclopedias, dictionaries, science fiction books and a copy of the book "Psychology: A Study of the Mind". (Granted)
  3. Access to Class D subjects and permission to run interviews with other SCPs. (Pending approval) note: Since the subject is an SCP, if this request is ever approved, any interview must be classified as a test.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be an adult male black ape of unknown species, similar to a human in size and is capable of speech. The SCP has an IQ score of 215 and can speak over thirty four (34) languages, latin included. After researches and fewer interviews, Dr. ██████ calculated that SCP-XXXX was born around the 5th century, although it is believed that the SCP has lost his memory at some point in its life. The SCP's lifespan is still unknown.

SCP-XXXX has a strong telepathic influence over the human brain, specifically on the temporal lobe (area in charge of the memory and emotions). The SCP can persuade the limbic system of the brain to either intensify or subdue a feeling for a reasonable period of time. If a subject interact with SCP-XXXX and experience its influence once daily by having a coversation or a psychotherapy session, the SCP become more inlfuent over the subject's brain, being able to change their personality permanently.

The SCP acknowledge its anomaly, and has decided to dedicate its life to understand the human brain, therefore adquiring a huge interest for the psychology branch.
