Appendix #A - Good day

VF

Throughout this game of ours, you'll find 5 appendix files. Labeled A through E. Only combining all of them can you reach the final stage.

"Okay and?" I hear you ask. Why not just write this in the announcement? Well, these files also will contain a brief overview of the puzzles thus far. Alongside telling you how to keep following the primary branch of missions that'll keep you engaged. So, let's get into it…

The three (3) primary files you've received are rather important. Each lead down a path that is more or less crucial for advancing down another. So it is equally important for you to understand what you are facing off against.

Omega-2 is disguised well. Encoded via steganography and then further via substition. Both are relatively easy to solve, so I won't dig deeper into that aspect. But the result should not be taken at face value - You are looking for a words that form one word. You'll understand in time. Other tasks within this branch are based on pure cryptography with occasional extraction of deeper meaning. Blaise de Vigenère could help you quite a bit, and not only in cryptography.

Theta-110 is all about observing every element of what you're seeing. The numbers are there, the letters are as well. Nothing was removed, nothing was added. It's all just been… mixed up. Images, audio, and more. Tasks within this branch are unorthodox methods of hiding data - Steganography is one way people refer it to.

Zeta-12 feels like a joke. Maybe it is one? But don't let it fool you, you've already failed at analyzing it further. A misdirection in the form of a redirection. Hope you're catching on. This is all about subversion. Finding meaning where there was none - Seeing what isn't there. Clever enough for it? We'll see, as a majority of these puzzles are hidden, even better than the first.

These description you may take at face value only now. Further files will be more vague in analysis, but will teach you useful tools for the next stage.

So it's important I explain the other type of file you'll encounter - Supplemental files. The will teach you a technique that will be crucial for further challenges. Unlike appendixes, like this page, they aren't necessary for progression. But they do help.

Best of luck. And no, there's nothing hidden here. You can trust me on that.
