Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX’s containment is simple. Keys will be provided to the subjects that use the SCP, and used to open the lock on the door. The key and the door will be replaced on the door once use of the SCP has ended.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a small conservatory room located in [REDACTED], [REDACTED]. SCP-XXXX’s measurements are: 2.5m x 2.5m in width, and 2.75m in height. Nearly all of the materials are unremarkable, although when ‘activated’ the room cannot be breached. SCP-XXXX has two doors, both of which should be locked.
SCP-XXXX’s anomalous ability can be activated via several methods of communication; thoughts, spoken words or through the room’s anomalous ability to identify the user’s most valued place. The place the users travel to varies, but it tends to be a loved one’s home, their favourite cafe or restaurant, or a family member’s burial spot. SCP-XXXX’s abilities make the environment completely real and appear to be true, but anyone viewing inwards sees nothing remarkable. SCP-XXXX’s abilities do not seem to have any distance based restrictions. The room’s restrictions are as follows:
Having one or more person inside of SCP-XXXX seems to negatively affect the abilities, and causes it to ‘blink’ to random locations
When there is only one person present in the room, they must consent to use of SCP-XXXX
Staying in the room for too long causes them to be stuck there for an indefinite amount of time (see SCP-XXXX-A)
Discovery of SCP-XXXX occured when the owners of the house were reported missing, leaving no traces they were there. Foundation staff were alerted once a local police force lost contact with one of their officers.
The interior of the room varies between users, but most reports on it say it looks much like what a young child’s bedroom would look like. These items include the following: Beyblades, Pokemon Plush, Nintendo 3DS Device, several worn out board games, and a stuffed teddy bear. One of SCP-XXXX’s anomalous qualities is that it can change the interior design to whatever the user thinks of. The limitations of this ability have not yet been recorded.
Addendum-XXXX-01:
XXXX-01 was an 8 year old British child who resided within SCP-XXXX prior to its discovery. Current data suggests that XXXX-01 was the first to activate SCP-XXXX’s anomalous abilities, but was unaware of its anomalous nature. XXXX-01 was reported missing on ██/5/2020. No physical evidence of the existence of XXXX-01 has been found since its disappearance. The only evidence that XXXX-01 ever existed is the accounts on the 3DS. D-Class personnel were utilized to find the account data, but all D-Class used in testing were affected by the anomaly and are considered KIA. The tests have given us actionable data and confirmed that excessive use of SCP-XXXX causes it to ‘store’ the users within the area of effect until expiration.
Addendum-XXXX-02
Experimentation on SCP-XXXX’s anomalous abilities has provided valuable data. Dialogue is able to be achieved via sleeping within the confines of SCP-XXXX. The time the dream lasts has been shown to not function similarly to a normal dream. Five seconds inside the dream approximates to about 5 minutes. Within the dream, communication with both the SCP and the “trapped” victims is possible.

Time flows differently in SCP-XXXX from standard dreams, 5 seconds approximates to be 5 minutes. Within dreams, communication between SCP-XXXX and previous users is possible.
