Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 5x5 metre reinforced concrete room. A steel gate is to be at the end of the corridor and at the entrance of the room. Humans and human corpses are prohibited from passing the entrance gate, unless for the purpose of authorised testing. If a corpse or human attempts to pass the security detail at the first gate without being authorised, they are to be shot. If they survive, they are to be shot again. If a corpse or human is possessed outside of testing, it is to be terminated immediately.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the given designation of a statue, made of a metalloid element, that is currently outside of our periodic table of both anomalous and non-anomalous elements. Its appearance is of a hooded figure, without any facial features, according to surviving D-Class personnel. This is designated as SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 has the ability to possess a human corpse or human being. If it were alive, the human's consciousness is suppressed, while an unknown entity, originating from the statue, is then in control. If in control of a corpse, it is handicapped by the obvious disadvantages.
Once possessed, the corpse, or body, is henceforth known as SCP-XXXX-2. There appears to be a limit of one entity. SCP-XXXX-2 appears sentient and is capable of speech. An interesting aspect of it is that is can speak the language of the person speaking to it. On multiple occasions, it has breached its containment chamber, and possessed a security member, or high ranking personnel member, and attempted to escape the facility. Its motives are currently unknown. SCP-XXXX-2 does not have an appearance, due to the fact it is the consciousness forced upon its victim. SCP-XXXX-2 originates from SCP-XXXX-1.
Incident-XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX-1 was in the process of being examined by D-4612 when he was suddenly possessed by SCP-XXXX-1. Then it was designated as SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 immediately began attempting to escape. It then made contact with an unidentifiable voice and demanded to be released. SCP-XXXX-2 was then detained for questioning.
Interviewed: SCP-XXXX-2.
Interviewer: Dr.██████ Moszka.
Foreword: Interview of SCP-XXXX-2, after verbal contact was made after its first attempted breach.
<Begin Log, 19:45>SCP-XXXX-2: Where is my sanctuary?
Dr.██████: You are now in the custody of the Special Containment Procedures Foundation. You have been…
SCP-XXXX-2: Return me to whence you found me.
Dr.██████: Regrettably, that isn't possible. You have been detained, due to the anomalous properties that you display.
Dr.██████: We have brought you here, on account of the fact you appear sentient. What are you, may we ask?
SCP-XXXX-2: I am █████ itself. No mortal can come before me and remain █████.
[Silence is observed for 10 seconds.]
Dr.██████:I believe this interview is over. Guards, please remove him.
[After Dr.██████ says this, he is immediately possessed and turned into SCP-XXXX-2 instance, and the interview is ceased. SCP-XXXX-2 instance is terminated.]
<End Log, 19:50>
Closing Statement: "While it is regrettable that Dr.██████ has died, it proved useful to find that the consciousness of the previous instance returned. However, they suffer from acute post-traumatic stress disorder and do not say what happened during their suppression. It also appears that SCP-XXXX-1 is in direct control of SCP-XXXX-2."
-Dr.██████ Wilson.
Incident-XXXX-2: SCP-XXXX-1 possesses D-6624 while he was repairing the containment chamber. SCP-XXXX-2 then emulated D-6624's behaviour perfectly and left the containment chamber. SCP-XXXX-2 was identified in the D-Class cafeteria when D-1423, and D-7233, who are usually D-6624's companions, noticed SCP-XXXX-2s extremely abnormal behaviour, and notified the head D-Class supervisor. Upon realising it had been discovered, when site security moved to contain it, SCP-XXXX-2 attempted to maul Senior Guardsman Chamberlain with a knife, wounding him multiple times. SCP-XXXX-2 was then shot through the head.
Closing Statement: "Due to the sentience of this SCP, and the fact CD-6624 had been inside that containment chamber multiple times, it is theorized that SCP-XXXX-1 observed him, and observed his behavioural patterns, and emulated it. It seems that SCP-XXXX is gaining intelligence, and conceiving new methods of escaping.
-Dr. Searle."
Incident-XXXX-3: During the Site-█████ containment breach, when multiple SCP-███ instances escaped containment, SCP-XXXX possessed Jr. Guardsman Roberts, and he became an SCP-XXXX-2 instance. He then proceeded to enter the breach shelter, with the other personnel. Upon coming into contact with other security personnel, who realised that it was an SCP instance, they attempted to terminate it. However, SCP-XXXX-2 then possessed another guard, without the others realising. It is believed that Guardsman Roberts regained consciousness when he was shot. The SCP-XXXX-2 instance then immediately proceeded to exit the facility, under the guise of conducting a patrol, when he was shot by members of MTF-E11, due to the fact security there was no personnel supposed to be outside of the facility at that time, except MTF-E-11, and other containment teams.
Closing Statement: "Due to the increasing deviousness of this SCP, and the fact it has now been able to convert personnel members into an SCP-XXXX-2 instance, from an SCP-XXXX-2 instance, means we will have to avoid contact by as much as possible."
-Dr. Searle
Incident-XXXX-4: Amid containment efforts of SCP-███, which had escaped because of a Chaos Insurgency raid, SCP-XXXX took over a MTF-Eta-10 member, MSGT Byrne. However, during this, a C.I member accidentally detonated a grenade near SCP-XXXX-1, which severely damaged it. After being damaged, the SCP-XXXX-2 entity ceased possession of MSGT Byrne's body, and MSGT Byrne's consciousness returned.
Closing Statement:"Containment procedures have now been revised, to prevent humans from entering the immediate vicinity of SCP-XXXX-1.
-Dr. Searle.
