Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 10 x 10 x 10 meter 27 cm thick titanium cube with not sharp edges on the interior of the cube. Description: SCP-XXXX is a somewhat mammalian creature with crustacean like appendages protruding from its upper back. SCP-XXXX has been observed to have 4 to █ of these legs. The organism’s head has never been recorded raising above the level of its main body to this date. SCP-XXXX has recorded heights of 1.28-3.42 meters and weights of 66.37-251.12 kilograms. The specimen also doesn’t seem to have any eyes and doesn’t respond to auditory disturbances. Though it has been discerned that SCP-XXXX has an extremely good sense of smell. It is assumed that it smells via its tongues and it is believed to use this ability to navigate with extreme certainty. When ever it attempts to make noise all of its mouths make the noise that the subject made in its last 5 seconds of life.
It has been observed that SCP-XXXX can chew through 24 cm thick titanium, though afterwards it will show signs of visible distress and within ██ hours it will barf back the titanium, visibly melted. SCP-XXXX seems to be able to eat anything it can fit in its mouth but seems to prefer living creatures. It is also extremely resilient to damage and is able to heal if an equal amount of food is consumed to the amount of flesh lost. The only known way terminate SCP-XXXX with ease is to burn it at temperatures up to 1███ degrees celsius. It has been observed to be able to hold its breath for 25 days.
When ever SCP-XXXX consumes anything with a mouth that has a radius of 3.5 cm or larger, anomalous or non-anomalous, within 2█.3 hours an exact copy of the subjects mouth will form on SCP-XXXX 2 cm away from any other mouth of SCP-XXXX. Some notable differences are the teeth and skin of the mouth are the same resilience as the rest of the body. When no more room for a new mouth to grow is reached SCP-XXXX will start to regurgitate a substance similar to [DATA EXPUNGED] in composition but when touched it is similar to a 1:4 solution of water and cornstarch. Within 2 minutes the specimen will be covered in the substance, it will harden in █ hours. When hardened it has been noticed to be resistant to .50 caliber sniper rounds and anti-tank rounds of all kinds, it is also immune to incendiary attacks, though this does slow the process of duplication. After 3 days1 two instances will come from the cocoon and combined will have the same amount of mouths as the original randomly spread between the two now instances.
