Item #: SCP-4XXX
Object Class: Euclid Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4XXX-1 is to be held in a reinforced steel cell of 1033 meters, with a triple-locked door of similar material. A bullet-proof window no larger than 1/4th2 meter is to built into the cell for observation.
Investigation of the cell is to occur four times a day by staff to report any damage made to the cell and to ensure that SCP-4XXX-1 is still inside. If SCP-4XXX-1 is not inside of it’s cell, full-site lockdown is to be initiated and MTF Epsilon-11 is to be deployed to recontain the entity.
The UIU and Foundation field agents are to be on the lookout to find and report activities similar to those that occurred during the capture of SCP-4XXX-1 and entities similar to those depicted in the image folder in order to identify and contain any further SCP-4XXX instances and to possibly find and detain POI-4XXX. POI-4XXX's containment is of high priority.
Description: SCP-4XXX-1 is currently the only known and contained instance of SCP-4XXX. Because of this, other instances of SCP-4XXX can only be assumed to have similar properties to SCP-4XXX-1.
SCP-4XXX-1 is an entity representing a crude, childlike drawing of an anthropomorphic cartoon squirrel. Any static view of SCP-4XXX-1 will only appear as two-dimensional, but a view upon it turning or moving will appear as many different two-dimensional appearances constantly adjusting to the new point-of-view to give the impression of three dimensions. Entities movement can be described as “jerky” or “stuttery”, like an animation that is missing frames. The messy crayon scribbles also appear to “jumble” during movement but moves slowly during rest.
SCP-4XXX-1 is capable of picking up existing objects of various weight. While there does appear to be a weight limit on what SCP-4XXX-1 can carry, there has never been an instance of SCP-4XXX-1 struggling to carry heavier objects. SCP-4XXX-1 is also capable of interacting with any “real-world” object as any human can. In addition, SCP-4XXX-1 is able to pull various objects "out from behind it’s back" while nobody is observing it from behind. These objects appear exactly like they do in the real world and function as they would as well. Items observed to have been summoned, include:
- A revolver
- A shotgun
- A stick of dynamite
- A safe
- An anvil
- A bouquet of flowers
SCP-4XXX-1 expresses violent intent both verbally and through actions. When questioned, SCP-4XXX-1 will invariable claim that it “makes others laugh” and that “nobody is getting hurt”. No amount of reasoning throughout interviews have ever succeeded in changing this viewpoint. SCP-4XXX will often try to convince personnel to release it, many times using childish bargaining and threats.
Discovery: SCP-4XXX-1 was first noticed in █████, ██ by the UIU following a string of unusual and unsolved murders:
- ██████ ███, age 63, was killed by a falling refrigerator, outdoors. Refrigerator model does not match any known existing model, and has no identifying marks other than a company’s logo “ACME” and some crayon wax markings on the door and sides.
- ████ █████, age 19, was killed by being run over by a steamroller at a construction site on ████ Street. ████ is not employed in construction and the incident occurred off-hours. Steamroller was free of any new fingerprints and was marked with crayon wax. Unlike the expected results of other instances, the victim's body was flattened perfectly as no broken bones or organs had ruptured the skin. Security cameras reveal SCP-4XXX-1 committing the crime.
- ██████ █████, age 12, was found disemboweled on the playground of ███████ Elementary. No murder weapons or fingerprints were found. Crayon wax markings were found, outlining the remains and spelling out the phrase “Not Laughing Anymore?”. (Please see Addendum 4XXX for details that may be connected to this incident).
Addendum 4XXX: The entity is now to be classified under SCP-4XXX-1, under the new realization that it may be one of multiple entities. After the containment of SCP-4XXX-1, a new UIU report was filed from the same town. This was due to a new crime scene discovered in the ██████ residence, found originally by a police investigation for possible child abuse or neglect. This suspicion was brought to concern by his teacher, ██████ ████ after noticing bruises on the child’s neck and stunted social skills beyond that learned from “Saturday morning cartoons”. The teacher also reported having to break up fights with him and other students on the playground. Information on if the murder of ██████ █████ was connected was not reported, possibly due to previous anmesticicing after the capture of SCP-4XXX-1.
Foundation investigation of the house revealed the eviscerated remains of the child’s mother. No murder weapons or fingerprints were discovered and crayon wax marking were found on the body. The child (now known as POI-4XXX) has not been found.
Investigation has also found the following child’s drawing within the home:
