Special Containment Procedures:
Note: Due to the requirements of containment, the folder has been declassified for all personnel directly related to the containment of SCP-XXXX. Further information is given according to clearance level and relevance
CAPTION-GOES-HERE
SCP-XXXX has the ability to appear at the heart of any temperate forest in the world with over ten thousand deciduous or pine trees, no two of which can exist more than ten meters from each other to be included in the count. An SCP mobile unit must be ready to dispatch under cover of forest authority to prevent any civilian from approaching SCP-XXXX whenever it appears. XXXX should disappear within 10 to 25 days of first appearance, at which point it may take anywhere from 10 days to 140 days to reappear in another random temperate forest. It is currently unknown as to whether it can appear twice concurrently in the same forest; though it must be assumed to be able to do so unless proof of the contrary is given.
A VHF radio emitter was placed inside XXXX with a Uranium power-source so that it is easily detectable by any radio-receiver owned by XXXX.
When found, a living subject no younger than 6 and no older than 65 must be walked to the anomaly and abandoned at the edge of the 1400 meter radius of the portal, this subject should be briefed as to the true nature of XXXX at a clearance level of 4 before entering.
Note: SCP-XXXX should be treated as a cognito hazard with a radius of 1400 meters.
The subject should enter willingly, ideally, they should be courageous of character and if possible have no emotional ties on Earth. If none can be found, 5 corpses, deceased for no longer than 5 days (with refrigeration), no younger than 12 and no older than 42 must be placed within 25 meters of the anomaly. This transaction must occur at approximately mid-day. If these cannot be found it is imperative that all personnel leave the forest and that it is immediately closed to all civilians. In the following appearance of XXXX, three times the transaction must be offered to contain it. Note that if 3 consecutive transactions are missed, the VHF radio will turn silent, and XXXX will be restored to Keter class pending further action XXXX.
Description of SCP-XXXX:
XXXX is another dimension of seemingly unbound size with multiple sub-entities within it. There is reason to believe that the entire dimension is not covered in forest; however, this information comes from an unreliable source. One can enter XXXX when it appears by walking or otherwise transporting oneself to the exact point inside the forest furthest from any edge of the host forest; in the case where there are multiple such points, it will appear at the furthest point from any trace of human civilization.
CAPTION-GOES-HERE
Humans within 1400 meters of the portal will become irrationally curious and attempt to unconsciously direct themselves towards the portal. The portal itself is imperceptible, going through it is unnoticeable as there are no cues as to the exact moment of entrance. The surroundings appear to be the exact same as the forest of entry. However, once the subject has entered SCP-XXXX their surroundings do not change, they are unable to break any tree, and the sun will never move from its position in the sky. Two subjects entering the same portal at different times of the day and with slightly different environments (Such as a broken branch) may see each other but will perceive different surroundings; one may see only night, the other daylight, one may see intact trees and the other broken twigs. All missions to SCP-XXXX must therefore take place in mid-day for best visibility.
If one begins to walk in any direction, any radio or microwave signals will become fainter as one goes further from the mouth of the anomaly, this includes GPS and telephone signals. Any GPS mapping device will not record of any movement from the last known coordinate Earth. Any attempt to leave XXXX via point of entry is impossible, however, two-way radio communication is still possible. The reason for this is suspected to be through the intervention of SCP-XXXX-2.
The forest does not appear to respect classical geometry as back-tracking or walking in circles will never result in visiting the same area twice. It appears that walking 3 kilometres in any direction – even in a circle – always leads to the dark section of the forest. Likewise, if multiple subjects enter the portal and they lose sight of each other when on the move, it is very unlikely that they will find each other again until after they exit SCP-XXXX.
After 6 kilometres, the trees appear to have human ear-shaped growths along their trunks, a further one kilometre and within cracks in the trees, one can perceive human eyeballs following the observer. By this point, sunlight can no longer reach the ground, and the relatively bright ambient light of the forest is given by a bioluminescence from the top layer of leaves. As the leaves fall, they seem to create a bioluminescent forest floor. Mushrooms, tree-sap, flowers, insects and certain animals all appear to have a similar type of bioluminescence, though their colours may differ or even change over time, the cause of the bioluminescence has not yet been confirmed. All animals which one could expect in a temperate forest are also present here, though they do not appear to perceive the observer.
Any attempt to harm any animal larger than an insect will result in loss of consciousness.
Continuing to walk in any direction will eventually result in the subject encountering SCP-XXXX-1-a.
Description of SCP-XXXX-1-a:
A seemingly human person varying between 16 and 32 years of age, almost always female, and always with a cap covering most of the subject’s head. This subject appears to be wearing a classical 16th century Polish summer peasant’s clothes. This is the case regardless of point or season of entry.
CAPTION-GOES-HERE
Encounter with SCP-XXXX-1-a:
After 10 kilometres of walking in any direction, one will come across SCP-XXXX-1-a. When asked what the subject is doing, SCP-XXXX-1-a will always reply that it is searching for berries and fruits as it promised to collect enough for everyone to eat. It will introduce itself by name, a different name to each observer, though always culturally appropriate to 16th century Poland, and ask the same in return. Psychiatrists have concluded that this subject acts as a human would in all cases, except its exceptional candidness. Any attempt to harm SCP-XXXX-1-a will result in loss of consciousness.
After some conversation, (As seen in Annex 2) SCP-XXXX-1-a will ask the subject to follow it back to its village. One must follow XXXX-1-a’s every step to return with it, any attempt at a shortcut will only result in losing XXXX-1-a and becoming lost in the forest. Should one become lost, XXXX-1-a will find the subject again within ten minutes, insisting that they don’t leave its line of sight. Refusal to comply or passive resistance will result in loss of consciousness.
The Village:
After some time of following XXXX-1-a, one will appear in the middle of a village. Any question as to how they entered the village through the centre and not the edge will be met with first confusion, then humour, the multiples instances of XXXX-1 do not seem to understand that the point of entry is impossible in Euclidean geometry. The village is still inside a forest where every tree towers several kilometres above it and they mostly use bioluminescent sources of light. The buildings seem to be reminiscent of 15th century Poland with some elements of 11th century Korean architecture.
CAPTION-GOES-HERE
The village appears to house at least 2000 instances of SCP-XXXX-1, though apparently there are several travelers and merchants passing through so it is presumed this number always be in flux; they all come and leave from the small wood at the centre of the village. The woods around the seems to curve into itself, entry into the wood from one side of the village results in an exit from the wood on the opposite side of the village. Questioning the instances of XXXX-1 present in the village will confirm that this village is middling in size; though they are unsure as to exactly how many other towns exist, they say that the largest likely has millions of people, and that there exists as many towns as there are leaves in the forest. There are apparently large-scale political organisations similar to feudal kingdoms, Medieval republics, classical empires and even modern democracies though all under the watchful eye of SCP-XXXX-2 also known as the Green Mother. All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 have either a cap which covers most of their heads or an eye-patch over one of their eyes. It was later found out that many instances of SCP-XXXX-1 cut off one ear as an offering to SCP-XXXX-2 as they had to give an "oath of protection" and an "oath of direction" to live here.
All instances of XXXX-1 confirm that no “outsiders” are allowed in any town except this one as this the “Miasto w pobliżu ujścia”. If one chooses to go further, one cannot return to their old world. (Translation from Polish indicates “Town near the mouth.”)
Outsiders will be invited to sleep in the inn free of charge for the first night.
Any refusal will lead to widespread confusion, the outsiders will not be allowed to leave the village in this scenario. Any attempt to force exit or to harm any villagers will result in immediate loss of consciousness.
Description of SCP-XXXX-2:
A painting by Scottish painter Robert Flower, bearing similarity to the Green Mother, possibly indicating a long history of interaction with Earth
The appearance of SCP-XXXX-2 is seemingly that of a 18 to 25-year-old woman of mixed Eurasian descent of “incredible beauty” as described by all subjects. Subjects claim that it appears to have a mesmerising effect on both male and female observers, this effect has been classified as anomalous and a light cognito hazard. Changes in details from shape of face to hair or eye-colour gives reason to believe that XXXX-2 is able to change its appearance.
It generally wears a long sheer white-green gown, though it commonly appears without it when bathing or swimming.
SCP-XXXX-2 Is extremely dangerous and deadly if the wrong actions are taken during the encounter with it. But it can be reasoned with, and correct actions can even incur a benefit. (more details in Annex 3)
Encounter with SCP-XXXX-2:
Any subjects who fell asleep in the inn or lost consciousness from before will appear alone without any equipment or items of clothing next to a forest pond surrounded by bioluminescent flowers, the water also seems to glow with teal light. Note that even without shoes, it was recorded that the forest floor felt like a “cool soft carpet” causing no harm to the subjects, and the ambient temperature is exactly to the subject’s ideal, ranging from 16 to 32 Celsius. SCP-XXXX-2 will appear near or in the pond. It will be partaking in many possible actions including: bathing, swimming, sleeping, sitting, climbing trees or playing games ranging from cards to chess.
Note: Recordings could only be made of this location and of SCP-XXXX-2 after an Oath and a promise had been struck. All records of the first encounter with SCP-XXXX-2 were later given by it as part of an oath, (As seen in Annex 3 and 4) but though these have been confirmed by Doctor ████████, they should still be treated as secondary sources.
Once SCP-XXXX-2 notices the subject, it will the attempt to overwhelm the subject with fear or pain. If the subject either: Panics, acts out in anger, attempts to harm any animals or plants or SCP-XXXX-2, or reacts with excessive emotiveness; SCP-XXXX-2 ensures through some method that the subjects are never heard from again. When asked about their fate, XXXX-2's mood darkens only replying that “they are still around”.
If the subject reacts with stoicism to SCP-XXXX-2's attempts to destabilise them, XXXX-2 will kindly ask the outsiders to sit down next to it. The subjects will be compelled to do so even if they have resolved themselves to not do so.
Note: some have compared XXXX-2 to a nymph of old European mythology.
Questioning SCP-XXXX-2 further has yielded that out of curiosity, SCP-XXXX-2 tortured the subjects both physically and mentally. Separating limb from body, growing plants inside of them but keeping them alive in an effort to understand the more negative aspects of human nature.
Requests that XXXX-2 return the humans yielded that it "hasn't found a proper equivalent to satisfy her curiosity." and that as soon as the foundation finds an equivalent method to satisfy her curiosity, it will return the people in "As good a shape as when they came in - if a bit wiser."
Conversing with SCP-XXXX-2:
SCP-XXXX-2 will then ask the subjects a series of questions, ranging from personal life, to professional secrets. It appears that every person is compelled to answer every question truthfully to the best of their ability. They can even tell SCP-XXXX-2 details which they have apparently forgotten, and only those subjects which have been given wide-scale amnestic from SCP-3000 can withhold any details.
After the questions are finished, the outsiders can engage in conversation with SCP XXXX-2. (A transcript is present in Annex 3,4,5).
During the conversation, XXXX-2 appears very playful and does not appear to respect any rules of nature or physics, it will fly, appear in several places at once, caress the outsider before disappearing again. It will generally keep doing this for several minutes, if the observer is unaffected, XXXX-2 will appear intrigued and talk to the observer in a more relaxed tone.
While conversing, SCP-XXXX-2 is seemingly capable of conjuring any number of luxuries to relax the observer, from fine wine, fruits, meat of all kinds, tobacco, chairs, beds, even any number of sexual partners. However, if the indulgence of these luxuries interferes with the conversation with SCP XXXX-2 a punishment will be enacted. Punishments include the tongue being ripped out if the observer’s feasting interrupted the conversation, or similar dismemberment. However, if a subject converses for so long they begin to feel any natural urges to sleep or relieve themselves, XXXX-2 will allow them to do so in private.
There is no natural limit to the length of conversation and topics can cover anything from quantum physics, to sports, to relationship advice, to proper ways of playing games. One can also engage in activities with it, from computer games to chess, to all forms of physical activity so long as it somehow adds to the conversation. XXXX-2 appears extremely knowledgeable on all topics, even of other SCPs contained by the foundation.
It claims it was present “long before the beginning and long after the end” and it knows “far more than it will ever be willing to share with us”. When asked about “God” it claims that whatever any “God” is to our world it is to this one, though it believes it does a better job at “running the place”. It further states that it will not answer question which can resolve “existential” questions or offhandedly give solutions to problems without a staunch price, and unless it is sure its actions make the “story” more interesting than without its actions.
SCP-XXXX-2's Oaths:
At the end of the conversation, SCP-XXXX-2 will ask two questions, “What do you want from me?” and “What are you willing to sacrifice for it?”,
If the answer to the first question contains more than two clauses, XXXX will grimace and rip out an eye from the observer, this eye cannot be regrown. XXXX will reply by saying in a casual voice, “Do not be greedy with me, child. Answer my questions honestly without deception.” If the subject reacts to their loss of an eye with what the Green mother would consider "excessive drama", it will rip out the other eye. If any answer except “to return to my own world” with an optional second clause is given to the first question, the observer is trapped forever in XXXX. Though further analysis suggests that their wish, whatever it may have been, was granted, and though it is unknown if the spirit of the wish was respected, there is no evidence to the contrary.
A painting by Scottish painter Robert Flower, Presumably of the Green Mother mid conversation
If the answer to the second question is “nothing”, XXXX will rip out the heart of the subject, and say “Oaths without the will to sacrifice is like a human without a heart.”. If a small offering is given, (such as a drop of blood), SCP-XXXX-2 will reply saying that the offering is too small, and that the outsider has two more chances to give an appropriate payment. If no appropriate payment is found during these two attempts, XXXX will simply state “very well, I will find my own payment.”
It is unknown what happens to outsiders if they do not choose to return to the real world. Those that do generally were almost always requested to give SCP-XXXX a significant payment, though the request can range from a body-part to the people of entire village. No exact scale has been given, but it is known that a simple request to return home was provided by payments ranging from a drop of blood to an ear. Larger requests such as to “return home and be happy” or “return home and be rich” demanded a payment of another human or “what you value most in the world” respectively. The later seems to indicate non-human payments as it can range from photographs to pets to medals, it appears that SCP-XXXX-2 does not attempt to trick the subjects with regards to payment, it may even reject human-payment if it considers it too valuable for its service. For payment to be made, it appears that simply touching the object in question and saying the words “Green mother, take this offering as payment for your Oath so graciously given to me” will cause the object or person to disappear as soon as it leaves line of sight. It is thought that the Green mother has at least some power over our universe, but the extent of it remains unknown.
SCP-XXXX-2's Payment:
Payment cannot be refused, nor any wish rescinded. XXXX-2 quoted “Oaths are the order of this world, break them at your peril.”
The payments can range from body-parts, wealth, mental faculties, to even close family members being taken by SCP-XXXX-2. It appears, however, that the better SCP-XXXX-2 enjoyed the conversation, the more benign the payment requested.
Note: All personnel sent to SCP-XXXX must have cleared a conversational course before entering it and speaking on behalf of the Foundation.
Upon breaking sight with the pond the subject is thrust back into our world (assuming they chose to return) with their pile of items neatly stacked within 5 meters of their location generally hidden under some leaves or some bush.
Note: Attention must be paid to this detail before sending teams in cold winter. They may not re-enter SCP-XXXX until at least one full day has passed.
It appears as though SCP-XXXX-2 makes little to no attempt to deceive any person who deals with it, clearly and without prompting clarifying vague remarks.
Example of refusing payment:
If the request is not fulfilled within 2 days, the person in question will start to dream of the green mother, reminding them of their payment.
CAPTION-GOES-HERE
If a further 2 days pass without any payment, subjects emotionally close to the subject will fall deathly sick from no discernible disease.
If there is still no payment made, electronic devices around the subject may stop working, even mechanical devices such as combustion engines may fail.
As this continues, space-time within a 1 kilometer radius becomes increasingly affected and the area becomes overgrown with trees of a similar type as SCP-XXXX with bioluminescent leaves. At this point, classical geometry breaks down as hallways can seem kilometres long, and doorways may lead to entirely different buildings. It becomes impossible to enter or exit the location with the exception of entering SCP-XXXX. The required payment will have doubled by this time.
If the payment for the oath is still not given, the entire space is removed from our reality and presumably transported to SCP-XXXX. No information is known about the whereabouts or condition of the subject in question, or of any other subject transported due to collateral damage. The hole left behind in the real world matches the topographic, and ecological map of the location prior to human settlement with no residual anomalous readings.
SCP-XXXX-2's Reasoning:
At present, there is no known reason for SCP-XXXX-2’s actions. If it is questioned on the matter, it only responds that it does these things for its own amusement and curiosity, and that it is fascinated by “limited sentient creatures” but that it abhors all forms of deception. SCP-XXXX-2 states that it attempts to be purposefully strange to the outsiders, but that it is quite simple to understand. It says that anything within its lands must function according to her oaths, and that it had long ago promised to take care of them. But these outsiders are not of her people, and as a result are not bound by any such oath, and as a result it is incredibly curious about all the emotions that humans can feel and is exited to make oaths with humans from our world.
When asked why SCP-XXXX-2 seemingly kills people on a whim, it simply replies “I didn’t kill them, they are still around.” If asked if they are in pain or being tortured, it replies that it doesn’t understand the concept, but that they are somewhere else, satisfying her curiosity. When pressed for details it simply replies that it will cost quite some payment to know what is going on, and since it deals with matters of an existential nature, it isn’t sure if the subject is in any position to give enough payment for that information.
It implies the existence of a God in our universe, and claims it has done a very bad job of creating our universe. It further implies that all SCPs (it does not consider itself a subject in the SCP classification system and insists on being called "Green Mother" or simply "Green") are a mistakes by "God" and that he should "really take better care of his universe and children".
It extended an open invitation to all humans from Earth to its own universe. It claims that there are already a massive amount of humans in SCP-XXXX and that a few more wouldn't hurt at all. When informed that the population of Earth is nearing 10 billion, it merely stated "naught but a rounding error"
Note:
It has been noticed that many wishes which have been granted have caused the subject extreme misery. Multiple subjects have been arrested, become chronically depressed, or have even died. When asked if XXXX-2 is aware of these incident, it replied that it gave them their wish and the spirit of their wish in full; the fact that the wish was badly thought out was not her concern. But that they can always call to her and pay to have the wish removed. It also noted several instances where the subjects were wise enough to wish for things which cause nothing but satisfaction for them. These instances have been confirmed.
It has been found that many pieces of classical artwork are based on actual representations of SCP-XXXX. It is possible though not confirmed that these artists have come into contact with SCP-XXXX-2 for either wealth, recognition or artistic ability.
Costs for using SCP-XXXX-2's oaths to deal with or contain other SCPs has proven to be unacceptable in all but the most dire cases, the Executive council has banned the use of SCP-XXXX-2 for solving most issues. Any use of the SCP must be cleared unanimously by the entire Executive council until some oath has been made to reduce the one-time cost of the "Green Mother's oaths".
Addendums
Addendum 1:
████████ has made a oath with SCP-XXXX-2 to no longer prey on civilians, which could potentially cause extreme hazards to wider society as well as to place a VHF radio at the entrance of the forest. As a payment, SCP-XXXX-2 has requested to be given a constant supply of people. If that is impossible, it says that some recently deceased bodies will suffice as payment for a time. SCP-XXXX-2 has assured the foundation that it will treat these subjects as well as it can, that no bodily or psychological harm will come to them, and that any of their wishes, as well as the spirit of their wishes, will be respected; aside from any wish pertaining to their return to our world. The foundation has estimated this to be an acceptable risk to contain SCP-XXXX. Designation was changed from Keter to Euclid following this transaction.
Addendum 2:
Researchers ████████ and ████████ have entered SCP-XXXX of their own free will, ████████ has not returned, however ████████ appears to have massively increased mental faculties. His payment seemed to be his 12 year old son. The foundation initially refused the request that his son be sacrificed to XXXX, as the son was in ████████████████ training. However, after the first elements of the punishment became apparent and that the researcher was in danger of breaking the agreement between the foundation and SCP-XXXX, the ethics committee ruled that the son was allowed to enter SCP-XXXX. ████████ was sent to ████████ for his actions. Any further involvement with SCP-XXXX must be approved by the Executive committee and all wishes and approximate forms of payment must be approved prior to entering XXXX.
Addendum 3:
During the ████████████████ crisis, a researcher was authorised to enter SCP-XXXX to find a solution to it. SCP-XXXX-2 gave an extensive description about how to solve the problem and how to contain SCP-████████ for future reference. As payment for the information, the researcher lost their ability to taste and ████████████████████████████████████████████████. Though the containment procedures given were accurate and far more effective than what the foundation could have conceived off otherwise, the price was deemed excessive by the Executive council, even though there was little choice in the event. The Executive council thereafter refused any of their own members from entering SCP-XXXX for any reason, even at the cost of a "repayment-event". However due to the usefulness of the SCP-XXXX, they are attempting to find a compromise of oaths to make future transaction more palpable.
A request has been made to the executive management to change the designation from Euclid to Thaumiel. This request is pending review by the executive council and ethical committee , the creation of proper procedure, and the acceptance of several oaths to reduce the costs of the oaths.
Note: As part of the deal made in Addendum 1, every month, the foundation will be allowed one "ear's" worth of an oath for free. This effect is cumulative, a record of the quantity of oaths so far accumulated and the approximate oaths possible to ask for is given in ████████████████. Although the quantity is very small in comparison to even the smallest of oaths useful for the foundation, it should be taken into consideration before deciding to or refusing to send missions to SCP-XXXX-2.

Annexes
Extract - Initial finder's log by Dr████████:
“This is Dr. ████████ in search for the forest portal anomaly of currently unknown designation. It appears to have been present within European folklore for hundreds of years, blah blah. You know the story.
Recently, however, we have found several cases of inexplicable events in China and Argentina which could be related to this anomaly. It almost always related to people either disappearing in a forest, or who experienced strange events after returning from the forest.
Before chasing every forest in the world however, a piece of parchment was deposited in front of facility ████████ by a what appeared to be a raven glowing with deep purple. The raven was not found again.
The parchment was an open invitation for the foundation to meet XXXX and it detailed the next three forests it will visit and the dates of visitation. XXXX is evidently either incredibly intelligent, or has intelligent elements.
Maximum care and caution is advised. A full team of researchers and their protection is requested to meet XXXX at the location.”
Extract – Conversation with SCP #-1 by Dr████████:
Dr████████: So you have always lived in this forest?
SCP-XXXX-1-a: No, but I think I have lived here for longer than you have lived. But I come from elsewhere.
Dr████████: Where else?
SCP-XXXX-1-a: Elsewhere, you wouldn’t know of it, you are outsider, I am of the Green-mother. We can know of each other as much as fish can ever understand a bird, or a bird a fish.
Dr████████: I don’t understand.
SCP-XXXX-1-a: That’s alright, I don’t either (it laughs at this) Why have you come here?
Dr████████: I have come to understand this place.
SCP-XXXX-1-a: Ah… So you seek the Green mother?
Dr████████: (Dr████████ hesitates) Who is the green mother?
SCP-XXXX-1-a: She is all around us, she knows all, she lives in the forest, but she is far more than the forest. She is this world, and the trees, and the animals. We pray to her for protection and help, and she helps us.
Dr████████: So she is like your God
SCP-XXXX-1-a: God? Is she the name of your mother?
Dr████████: Not… exactly… some of us believe that he exists much like your mother does to you.
SCP-XXXX-1-a: Believe? You mean that you don’t see him?
Dr████████: You see the green mother?
SCP-XXXX-1-a: Yes, so will you before the end of the day. Just make sure you are not afraid, ie does not harm those outsiders who are brave enough to face her.
The rest of the conversation can be read in ████████
Extract - First meeting with SCP-XXXX-2 by Dr████████:
Dr████████: Who are you?
SCP-XXXX-2 tilts her head, and fades away into smoke, then reappears next to Dr [Redacted]. It wears a long flowing robe, which seems to evaporate as smoke at the edges. This instance, it has green eyes and yellow-blond flowing hair.
Dr████████: You do not frighten me, who are you?
The forest darkens, wolves with glowing yellow eyes appear from the edges of the Doctor’s vision. Glowing spiders crawl up the Doctor’s legs, SCP-XXXX-2 seemed to multiply herself into multiple identical copies, some standing close to the doctor, other laughing and dangling from the branches around the Dr. Their forms illuminated by her now glowing robes.
Dr████████: I said, you do not frighten me. Can we talk?
SCP-XXXX-2 laughed and appeared besides the doctor and dug a full hand into the doctor’s chest, crushing their rib-cage in the process. The doctor stood, wincing, but unreactive. The Green mother laughed childishly and “innocently” as it twisted her hand, the doctor winced and collapsed to his knees.
In an eye-blink, the wound and the pain was gone, the forest lightened, the wolves and the spiders disappeared, the green mother’s multiples vanished. It appeared from the mist behind Dr████████ sitting on an English garden chair, pouring two cups of tea. Bidding the doctor to sit in front of her.
SCP-XXXX-2: You are an interesting person Doctor. I would be honoured to have this conversation.
Dr████████: You… don’t converse often?SCP-XXXX-2: Not with outsiders. They always become afraid; and I get bored of cowards. You have seen and felt things which are far worse than what I have shown you? (her accent has much tonality, appearing almost musical.)
Dr████████: Yes, I work in the Foundation.
SCP-XXXX-2: (XXXX-2 became childishly jubilant at the news) I know! I hoped someone you would come! So much more interesting than the boorish peasants I always end up with from your world.
Two multiples of the green mother appear behind the doctor and start to massage his neck, he turns with a start
Dr████████: What are you doing?
SCP-XXXX-2: I am not a monster! I know that this is the luxury you genuinely want. If it aids our conversation, I give this freely. (her eyes become impassive, her voice strict) But I do this for the conversation, do not be distracted by it, or else.
Dr████████: Not likely. (The doctor sat back down, letting the nymphs massage his neck, ie giggled as ie gave him his tea) Who are you, exactly?
SCP-XXXX-2: I am who I am. The Green Mother. You would call me the God of this world, of a fashion. Though your God is boring, plain, and unimaginative, I don’t like it at all. I do a much better job with my world than your God ever did with yours, if I say so myself. Mine is much prettier and more fun to be in, yours is simply depressing.
Dr████████: So you are omnipotent in this realm?
SCP-XXXX-2: Do not speak of things of which you know nothing, that word is logical fallacy in itself. I will not describe myself as I need not be described, I am this world as much as you are your body. But… what about you? You have come here behalf of your foundation have you not?
Dr████████: A purple raven, I take it the animal is one of yours?
SCP-XXXX-2: Yes, I thought it better to be discrete. Oh how we are going to have so much fun together.

Extract 2 - First meeting with SCP-XXXX-2 by Dr████████:
Dr████████: Your portal was only recently found, and only then by your help. How long have you been in contact with Earth?
SCP-XXXX-2: (The SCP giggles at the question) How long have you walked? All your life right? Do you remember how long you have walked?
Dr████████: I understand you are old, but did you always have portals between our world?
SCP-XXXX-2: Long ago, our world's weren't so different (she pauses looking up to the canopy above), I wouldn't even have called them different worlds. We were… very close. Suffice it to say that your people have been coming here for as long as you have existed.
Dr████████: But how did we never notice you before you contacted us?
SCP-XXXX-2: I made a mistake (It jumps up from her chair and does a few acrobatics while laughing) it happens you know, I'm not omniscient unlike some creatures you claim to hold. (it rocks as if on an invisible swing) I thought that you would have made life so dull for me, but I think I was wrong. You will make life very interesting for me, and… (it floats down and pokes Dr████████ between the eyes) for you.
Dr████████: Does that mean that you are able to affect our world as well as yours?
SCP-XXXX-2: What an interesting question… (it bends forwards as if in deep concentration) yes… but there are limits. He won't be very pleased if I dabble too much in your world. He won't mind a few pranks, but nothing too serious. (she laughs) Don't worry Doctor, I have no intention of blowing up your world or anything like that. I'm just really interested in you all on the other side.
Dr████████: Your wishes all have payments, is it because you want payment or rather because you need an excuse to fiddle about in our world?
SCP-XXXX-2: (starts laughing heartily) I knew you were a really funny one! (she keeps smiling and caresses the doctor's shoulders) And shrewd, I like you. (she flies back to her seat, but sits upside down) The answer is both. Good enough for you?
Dr████████: Quite, but if someone asked, say to remove SCP-███ from existence, would you do it?
SCP-XXXX-2: (it looks serious at the doctor, without any of the previous humour) You may not know this, but the answer is existential in nature. To fulfill my promise to you, I will tell you, but you will be unable to repeat it anywhere. No transcript will contain the answer, and no video will even mark my lips, do you understand, and do you still want to know?
Dr████████: (after a significant delay) Yes, I do.
SCP-XXXX-2: The answer is —-
The recording cuts out for 17 seconds. Only Dr████████'s voice can be heard, expressing extreme disbelief.
the remaining record can be found in ████████
Extract 3 - Second meeting with SCP-XXXX-2 by Dr████████:
Dr████████: Civilians are our charge, we cannot simply let anyone wander into your forest, regardless of how well you claim to treat them. We need proof that you did not harm any of them.
SCP-XXXX-2: I did harm some of them, does this mean you will leave me alone now (it said this playfully, as if without understanding its own actions)?
Dr████████: You… harmed them?
SCP-XXXX-2: Not all of them (it thought with a finger on its lips) not even most of them, only the aggressive idiots who were both rude and uninteresting.
Dr████████: That's it?
SCP-XXXX-2: (it looked at the doctor innocently) Yes. most of them harmed themselves by wishing for stupid things, but I really can't cure stupidity. (it leaned down as its body flew upwards, putting it at eye-level with the doctor) Unless you wish that your stupidity went away of course… (it twirled around the doctor pensively) Though if you were smart enough to know you were stupid, would you be smart enough to ask to not be stupid? So would you be smart? Or stupid? Hmmmmmmmmm… so many questions, (it perked up exitedly) this is why I love you humans, so many questions, you are all so interesting!
Dr████████: But why are you so curious about people, don't you have enough of your own?
SCP-XXXX-2: Oaths… (it looked exhasperated) I promised myself I would do my best to ensure that everyone here was safe from myself and any other intrusions, their only misery is each other. But You! (it smiled mischievously) I can do whatever I want with you!
Dr████████: I see, so you would rather not harm anyone, but you want interesting people correct?
SCP-XXXX-2: Yes…
Dr████████: Why don't we make a deal… an oath as you say it, right now. You stop attracting everyone who passes by in our world, and instead we will select interesting people for you to meet. Not rude ones, but interesting ones. Only if you promise to treat them as you would your own, after your two wishes.
SCP-XXXX-2: (it thinks for several seconds before smiling as wide as it can) It is a good deal! But… I also want corpses from your side, not too many but not too dead, just a bit dead. I'll give you the details if you want!
Dr████████: I will have to confirm it with my superiors but I think that it can be agreed upon.
SCP-XXXX-2: (it twirls in the air as on a gust of wind) But the deal is unfair, if you keep giving me people, then I gain both more people, and better quality people. I should give something more in return.
Dr████████: (the doctors thinks for a minute) What about a small wish, valid for anyone who comes on behalf of the foundation, maybe once a month?
SCP-XXXX-2: Yes! You will have an ear's worth of a wish every month, cumulative. it's not much but if you wait for a millenia or two I might even be able to deal with that pest of yours… SCP-███ was it?
Dr████████: Thank you! But I will of course have to talk to my superiors about this.
SCP-XXXX-2: Of course, but wait a while, for all the good conversation you have given me, let me give you something to you personally. Off the record. (it comes closer to the doctor)
The recording ends here.
The remainder can be found in ████████
Note: When confronted about the gift SCP-XXXX-2 gave the doctor, they replied that it was to them personally and not to the foundation. It would be inappropriate to either share the gift or share knowledge of the gift. In the interest of future cooperation, the Executive council and Ethics committee ruled to allow this privacy.
Extract - Interview with SCP-XXXX-1-"merchant"
Dr████████: So where do you come from?
SCP-XXXX-1-"merchant": Me? From the kingdom of Erethir, selling seashells and fishbones. You wanna buy some?
Dr████████: Why fishbones?
SCP-XXXX-1-"merchant": What, they don't have needles where you come from outsider?
Dr████████: We use steel.
SCP-XXXX-1-"merchant": (it hesitated) Wohooo, you didn't seem like a rich-boy to me. Not enough… (it gestured at its body) stuff… But hey, what can I tell you outsiders, you're just like the blokes over at the DRE. (it came in closer) say, you give me that hankerchief of yours and I'll give you something you want
Dr████████: (the doctor gave the scarf) Why don't you tell me instead about the world you live in, do you have a king? a parliament? what do you eat? do you trade often? is the entire world like this forest?
SCP-XXXX-1-"merchant": Woah boy, let me get my bearings man. (it looked at the scarf and hesitated before speaking) Aye, we do have a Queen, she's caught up in a whole mess right now between the seers the holy orders and the guilds. We eat loads of fish, obviously, what did you think the whole world was a giant forest? And aye, trade flows like never before. And If I know what you mean, and no, this forest is easy to get lost in - too close to the Green Mother and all that, once you get out, which you can't the world gets better.
Dr████████: What is your level of technology?
SCP-XXXX-1-"merchant": My level of what?
Dr████████: (the doctor hesitated before continuing) Do you have indoor toilets?
SCP-XXXX-1-"merchant": Of course we do, man, we're not barbarians like the blasted Keleks (it spat)

Reclassified information learned from SCP-XXXX-2:
Our world will eventually come to an end in the next 1000 years from multiple different causes, this seemed to sadden SCP-XXXX-2
SCP-XXXX-2 does not allow any SCPs of any kind to survive within SCP XXXX, it claims that this is a safe refuge.
SCP-XXXX is “just as infinite” as our universe.
The forest does not cover all of SCP-XXXX, though it claims that the forest is all we will ever see of SCP-XXXX, unless we decide to stay.
There are several human civilizations within SCP-XXXX, many of which are just as advanced, or more so than ourselves.
That SCP-XXXX-2 is not alone in her world, and that ie has many children of similar power to hers, Though ie is far and above the most powerful.
Humans can die in her world, ie ensures that they are all sent to “a good place”
SCP-XXXX-2 has much knowledge as to methodologies for containing SCPs, but says that due to the nature of the SCPs any information as to their containment will come at great cost. It can also "take care" of all the SCPs currently contained by the foundation, as it does in its world, but the cost incurred would not be worth it except in the direst of circumstances.
