Special Containment Procedures: SCP-5184-J is to be contained indoors in an indoor kennel at Site-██ with access to an outdoor area 30 m x 30 m.
SCP-5184-J is to be fed 2 times daily with about 100 grams of a mixture of fresh meat and fruits and is to be provided with a source of water. A Class D Personnel is to be sent in daily to collect and dispose of the waste, preferably in the Incinerator.
Access is restricted due to its memetic effect, but in order to prevent Health-Issues Personnel with Experience with Dogs are to be sent in daily to keep SCP-5184-J fit. Also Class D Personnel
is to be sent in daily to dispose of the Waste produced by it.

Description: SCP-5184-J is a female member of the Canis familiaris of the breed FCI-Group 5, Section 5 #257 commonly known as Shiba. It is 41 cm tall with a weight of 9 kg and a light Reddish-Brown Colored Coat on the Upper part of its body and a white Coat on the lower part of its body.

Physically it is identical to any other member of its breed despite being in Foundation Custody for ██ Years to date. Despite its apparent longevity it has no other Physical anomalies. It can be injured and presumably killed like any other member of its breed. DNA testing has revealed no anomalies in its DNA. It has an overall very friendly demeanour towards humans.

What separates SCP-5184-J from the rest of its breed is its limited ability to talk. All sentences are limited to 2 words with the first word always being either “Very”, “What”, “So”, “Such”, “Much”, “Many” and “Wow” with “Wow” being a word that can be used on its own often used at the end of a “Sentence”. Its Intelligence however seems only to be slightly higher than the average Member of its breed and shows no other anomalous abilities. How it is able to talk is currently not understood by the foundation.

SCP-5184-J is in a good health condition and has so far suffered no illnesses that this breed would suffer regularly. No Age-associated illnesses have been observed either. While in Foundation Care SCP-5184-J has never been sick. Blood Samples from SCP-5184-J have been tested and have shown no anomalous resistances to vira or bacteria. However it is prone to be lazy and gain weight if it is not exercised regularly.

If a Conversation is started with SCP-5184-J after approximately ten (10) minutes of Conversation the Person talking with it will also start talking in the same way. The effect will occur in a matter of a few sentences talked to SCP-5184-J. The Person afflicted with this is completely oblivious to this fact and will keep talking with SCP-5184-J. There is no compulsion to talk to it that is detectable and a Person talking to SCP-5184-J can stop at any given time. This effect is only temporary and will cease with time. Through testing it was discovered that the Ratio is 1:5. For every Minute talking to SCP-5184-J the Person will talk five (5) Minutes in the same Manner. If conversed to less than 10 Minutes the effect will not come into Place. For this effect not to take place any Personnel that has interacted with SCP-5184-J needs to spend the equal amount of time talked with SCP-5184-J away from it.

This effect will also bleed over to anything the afflicted Person is writing. Afflicted Persons can not infect other Persons with this effect. Because of this it is recommended to keep the afflicted Persons isolated until normal Speech patterns reestablish themselves. When their abnormal Speech Pattern is pointed out towards the afflicted Person they will be confused at first and shortly after suffer a mild panic attack no matter their previous history with memetic effects.
Watching recorded Imagery of SCP-5184-J has no memetic effect.

SCP-5184-J was brought to the foundations attention after Local News in █████████ █████ ██████ reported of a talking dog in the care of ████████ ██████ in 10/23/199█. A Team was sent in to retrieve the SCP, and cover up the News, by exposing ████████ ██████ as a Scammer only trying to get famous.

SCP-5184-J: Very yes. Such me. Much talk. Wow.
Dr. C: Since when did you have this ability?
SCP-5184-J: So long. Much time. Such remembering. Very always.
Dr. C: Do you know of any other SCPs like yourself?
SCP-5184-J: Very no. Such alone. So sad.
Dr. C: From our records we know that you were part of a 6 Pup Litter. None of your siblings have this ability?
SCP-5184-J: Very no. Much play. Many Silent. Such lonely.
Dr. C: Why is it, that you can only talk in the manner you do?
SCP-5184-J: So unknown. Much Mystery. Such Intrigue. Wow.
Dr. C: Do you have any other abilities you are aware of?
SCP-5184-J: Very talented. Much Sit. So Stay. Much Roll. Many Fetch. Wow.

At this point the Interview was interrupted by Junior Researcher C█████ S█████ and Dr. J████ C██████ was immediately isolated. After approximately 50 minutes Dr. Cs Speech pattern returned to normal.

After this Incident testing was conducted with Class D Personnel to determine how long this effect would last and under which circumstances the effect would take place. All testing was recorded by remote surveillance equipment. Test-Logs will be shown as followed:

Note: D-5184-1 was told to interact with SCP-5184-J for 15 minutes. He walked into the outdoor confinement of SCP-5184-J and was happily greeted by it. They played a bit of Fetch. Very little conversation took place.

Note: D-5184-2 was told to interact with SCP-5184-J for 30 minutes. As with Test 1 D Class was happily greeted. D-5184-2 tried to figure out which tricks SCP-5184-J was capable of by asking it. Afterwards D-5184-2 made it perform some tricks continued by approx. 10 minutes of fetch followed by approx. 5 minutes of belly rubs performed by D-5184-2 on SCP-5184-J. A change of D-5184-2s Speech Pattern was noted at the 18 Minute Marker.

Addendum 5184-J-1: On 6/6/201X an Information breached occurred and Information of SCP-5184-2 was leaked to the Public. A Cover up Story was made up, about a Shiba Inu belonging to a AXXXXX SXXX that has a Weblog to inform people about Dog-Breeding and transportation. The Cover up was only partially successful.
