Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a standard containment cell, on a pedestal within a 10x10x5 inch container. When a person is going through an anomalous chanting, termination will take place of the subject after 1 minute.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small red box, covered in nordic runes and kept closed via a swing hook latch. This box is now also emblazoned with an scp foundation logo, due to Dr.Gerickson’s suggestion in order to keep it known as, and within foundation custody. SCP-XXXX appears to be a box that is unable to open to most individuals. No known or seen forces appear to be preventing the latch from unlocking when people try to open it. There appears to be no correlation between persons who open it. Opening the box appears to mentally change the person who opened it, and they immediately start chanting in an unknown language. This chanting can cause multiple anomalous effects that end up warping nearby reality, and the longer the chanting continues, the more reality is warped. Due to the harm Incident-XXXX-1 caused, termination is to be executed within 2 minutes of beginning of chant. Text recordings of these tests can be found in Addendum#1.

+ Testing Results

__Test 1 -██████ __

Subject: D-Class 1084

Procedure: D-class attempts to open the box

Results: D-class succeeds, and begins chanting. Approx. 24 seconds in, reports of unease and nausea are recorded in nearby personnel. 51 seconds in, the nausea worsens enough to execute termination. 55 seconds in, D-class terminated.

Analysis: Nearby personnel started to feel better after termination of D-class. No other personnel within the facility felt this effect.

__Test 2 -██████ __

Subject: D-Class 6874

Procedure: D-class attempts to open the box

Results: D-class opens the box and the chanting begins. 42 seconds in, nearby electrical components begin to fail, subject terminated immediately in fear of a containment breach.

Analysis: The area of effect appears to be nearby reality. No boundaries or limit has been found, although the power shortage seemed to reach at most 123 meters away, affecting a hallway light bulb. Testing now must be done in a secluded testing area away from the site. This is in order to prevent possible containment breaches.

__Test 3 -██████ __

Subject: D-Class 78095

Procedure: D-class attempts to open the box

Results: D-class begins chanting. 20 seconds in, a resonating sound can be heard, affecting nearby radio waves. 23 seconds in, personnel realize that they cannot hear any sound rather than the resonation, including their own voices. MTF-███ begins convulsing and drops to the ground. Immediate termination executed.

Analysis: The only apparent reason MTF-███ convulsed was his location being the closest to the D-class. MTF-███ is still in a coma due to his convulsions, which appear to have caused a stroke.

__Test 4 -Incident XXXX-A __

Subject: D-Class 40862

Procedure: D-Class attempts to open the box. D-class is to be allowed to chant for as long as possible. Personnel now are stationed 250 meters away.

Results: D-Class succeeds, and begins chanting. Personnel report seeing a group of hooded figures suddenly appearing before D-class 60 seconds in. Any physical object (a bullet in this case) appeared to pass through the hooded figures. 1:22 seconds in, Gravity seems to increase in nearby areas, the area of effect at least 500 meters in radius. All personnel are pinned to the ground, and at the 2 minute mark D-class 40862 vanishes with the hooded figures, and the box falls to the ground.

Analysis: This constitutes a possible massive containment breach. No searches, nor procedures have found D-class 40862. Hooded figures are to be investigated. No more testing of SCP-XXXX is to be allowed.

__Test 5 - Incident XXXX-B __

Subject: D-Class 38902

Procedure: D-class is instructed to open the box.

Results: D-class approaches box and takes it out. As soon as she goes to open it, she slams the box against the table, which breaks the box. Instantly, the whole testing site shudders as what appeared to be a beacon of light shone up from the broken box. D-class could be heard audibly screaming as her body is also enveloped by the light coming from the box. A worldwide event took place, in which the moon was instantly transported above the beacon of light. A large voice could be heard, but not recorded, as it appeared to be within each of the personnel’s minds. The following is a recalling of what the disembodied voice said.
According to Dr.Gerickson: “You… see what you wish. Unaware [REDACTED] due to your own foolishness… A god in sleep, nearing the end of a slumber, my children shall open the 24 gates, and you shall revel in your own failure.”

Analysis: Now, knowing that there is much more to these boxes, this constitutes a massive failure of containment. With further analysis, we found another one of these boxes, and a follower of some cult. Given certain memetics, they explained the rest… there’s 24 of these damn boxes. And we just gave them back one of them. If they opened all of theirs at the same time we were testing… Finalize search procedures for the rest of the boxes, this is of utmost importance. Given what that member told us, as long as we contain these boxes, we can stop this. Im putting in a request to have this whole document revised. -Dr. █████

<Begin Log, first interview of cultist>

Dr.Gerickson : Hello, Mr. Aram. I'm here to ask you a few questions regarding the box we took from you.

Cultist: …

Dr.Gerickson : ok. What can you tell us about the box? What is it used for?

Cultist: …

Dr.Gerickson : We can’t help you if you don’t help us. It’s in your best interests to talk here.

Cultist: …

Dr.Gerickson : Perhaps you could tell us more about your “God” instead?

Cultist: He sleeps… awaiting. We had all the gates, and you ruined it.

Dr. Gerickson: Who sleeps? Your god?

Cultist: He has been locked away into a slumber. We will awake him, it is inevitable.

Dr. Gerickson: I understand. And these boxes, these are the Gates that will supposedly wake him up?

Cultist: They can wake him up earlier, yes. Although we wish only to keep the boxes until the chosen time.

Dr. Gerickson: I see. Now, tell me; what is the chosen time?

Cultist: He will arise from his slumber. The gates weaken, and with every opening his power grows. Us chosen ones shall be enlightened while you all are enslaved and destroyed.

Dr. Gerickson: Uh huh. And what is your proof of this?

Cultist: He has told one of us. His power has already affected this world many times. You all have forgotten, as have we. Until we were reminded of his awe inspiring ability.

Dr. Gerickson: And what exactly have I forgotten?

Cultist: [REDACTED]

Dr. Gerickson: I don't think I have forgotten anything of the such.

Cultist: Do the research yourself. It was there. That is but one of the times he has blessed us all with an example of his might.
Dr. Gerickson: I sure will… You can retreat to your containment area now.

Closing Statement: I couldn’t believe my eyes. it really was there. [REDACTED], the whole damn thing. All gone, possibly millions of deaths or forgotten people. No records of the thing anywhere, We have no idea what the hell this thing has done to us, or how much we have forgotten. Perhaps entire civilizations. All we know is that this is much bigger than some anomalous boxes. We are dealing with a reality bending entity that can end or change the world as we know it. Proposing that class turn from Safe to Keter.

SCP-XXXX remaining dormant

Special Containment Procedures: Currently there are no known procedures capable of containing SCP-XXXX. The best known way to prevent the eventual waking of SCP-XXXX is to contain all instances of SCP-XXXX-1. All 15 instances of SCP-XXXX-1 in foundation control is currently held at site-██ Inside a proper containment cell. Current procedures are being taken in order to find the other 9 SCP-XXXX-1 instances before an SCP-XXXX Howling Moon event happens, resulting in a CK-class Reality Restructuring Scenario.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a large reality bending entity, seemingly comprised of different basalts. SCP-XXXX Remains dormant, not showing any signs of anomalous behavior, nor are any anomalous materials found on SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is related to a collection of boxes designated scp-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-1 is a currently unknown amount of small wooden boxes covered in Nordic runes and closed via a swing hook type lock. No way of opening the boxes consistently has been found, as repeated test results only show a randomness to the “selection” of people that SCP-XXXX-1 opens for. Destroying an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is under no circumstances allowed. Destruction of an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 may lead to an SCP-XXXX Howling Moon event, resulting in an CK-class Reality Restructuring Scenario. SCP-XXXX-1 instances are seemingly impossible to open without breaking them, although in some cases, certain individuals are able to open SCP-XXXX-1 with ease. The first instance of SCP-XXXX-1 came into foundation custody when a local police force came into contact with a cult calling themselves “The Lunar Chosen”. Originally no correlation between SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 were found, as there was no prior knowledge to SCP-XXXX until the SCP Foundation’s encounter with The Lunar Chosen.
