Description: SCP-XXXX is a wooden mannequin that is humanoid in form with no facial features or hair. A sample of the wood that the entity consists of is confirmed to be of the species carapa guianensis, or mahogany wood. A large mechanical speaker is attached inside the chest cavity of the entity and is always fully operational, being supplied with enough electrical energy to be functional although a source has yet to be located.
The anomalous properties of the entity are only evident when a line of sight is established by the entity to a creature that is capable of learning. Once this trigger is met, the mannequin will animate, rising to a standing position if it is not already. The entity is capable of speech though the mechanical speaker in its chest cavity and appears to be sapient as well as sentient. As soon as the anomaly is animated, it will attempt to converse with the creature or creatures nearest to it and will carry out simple conversation until it senses an opportunity to converse about education. It will provide questions directed to inspire curiosity in the creatures and allow the entity it to teach them more about a subject or skill.
