SCP-XXXX
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept at site ██, in the west wing of the biological experiments laboratory.
There are many strange things in our world. Many of which are complete mysteries to most of us, and although there are some we have come to understand and/or accept as everyday life. There will always be more questions than answers.
Along with many others, SCP-XXXX and it’s “Captive” per say, SCP-XXXX-A. Fall into this endless loop of questions over answers.
Discovery: During an investigation into the destruction of two US surveillance satellites, A mysterious container full of a strange black liquid, was found by US forces approximately 130km (80 miles) north of ███ █████, near ███████ Lake. After being handed over to the Foundation, a group of six was tasked to open the container, and evaluate the SCP's object class. However this proved more difficult then expected, as all attempts to open and/or damage it have failed, resulting in no visible damage to the container.
Description: SCP-XXXX is an armoured, cylindrical container roughly 60cm (24 inches) in length, with a diameter of 20cm (8 inches). Weight is estimated to be 120kg (264 lbs), and a rectangular view port (located on the side) reveals a strange viscous liquid resting in the bottom of the container.
From what little we could gather, (colour, weight. etc). We have come to believe SCP-XXXX is made from a combination of highly resistant metals, similar to molybdenum, tungsten, tantalum, titanium and various nickel and stainless steel alloys.1
Addendum_1: The Liquid: SCP-XXXX-A appears to be a large mass of black slime, similar to that of SCP-999. With the only noticeable differences being its size and colour. When threatened, small crystalline scales can be seen along the surface of SCP-XXXX-A, and a rattle sound can be herd from within SCP-XXXX. Quite similar to the rattlesnake, we believe this is used to warn off attackers or could possibly be used as a form of protection.
When exposing SCP-XXXX-A to ultraviolet light (UV), an abnormal amount of bacteria is present. As we can not gather samples, SCP-XXXX-A has been marked as a possible bio-hazard until further notice.
