Special Containment Procedures: Under no circumstances should the lights ever be shut off in Item SCP-6000's containment room. If lights do go out, immediate evacuation is necessary. This Item, under no circumstances should be left alone.

Description: SCP-6000 is described as a nightlight under the product name "Lightahead Artificial Tropical Fish Aquarium Decorative Lamp Virtual Ocean in Motion." Item appears to have teleportation abilities and can not be contained by any object. Upon further examination, the object appears to be nothing more than a nightlight and origin is unknown. Object remains on without any known way to turn it off. The lights motion, going counter-clockwise, appears to switch every few nights at midnight to a clockwise motion, when this happens, no matter what lighting is present, a silhouette of a humanoid figure appears. This figure is classified as SCP-6000-1. This is the only apparent form. SCP-6000 was exposed to EMP during test and was completely unaffected and ran as usual. SCP-6000-1 attempts to lure people in by inducing drowsiness, and mimics the voices of the affected persons best friend. Range of effect is unknown at this time. SCP-6000-1 wanders and causes mass hysteria at the assigned Site. Any way to stop this is unknown. Shadow appears to have telepathic capabilities that are powerful enough to disturb a comatose patient. It has led Site personnel to commit suicide by any means necessary. For instance, entering containment cells of Euclid class or higher class SCP's.

If SCP-6000 escapes, it could be the end of life on this planet.
