Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be contained in a 3 m x 3 m x 5 m room inside a 10 cm x 10 cm x 5 cm Poly(methyl methacrylate) box. Upon transfer, SCP-XXXX must remain inside containment on a level mobile platform to avoid activating its anomalous effects.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a small wooden triangle approximately 15 cm in perimeter and 1 inch in depth. The triangle has 15 holes drilled into it with 14 plastic golf tees: 4 white, 4 yellow, 3 red, and 3 blue. These golf tees are to be referred to as SCP-XXXX-G. Left alone, SCP-XXXX does not pose an immediate threat.
Anomalous effects become apparent once one or more of SCP-XXXX's golf tees are removed. Upon removal, the genetic DNA of the person who removed a golf tee is altered. The changes made are usually miniscule, as long as no more than 3 golf tees are removed. Once more than 3 tees are removed from SCP-XXXX, changes often become dangerous, or fatal.
There is a grace period of 9 minutes upon removal of any golf tee. Any changes made to a subject are to become permanent if the tees removed are not replaced before the grace period is over. Subjects who remove the any tees from SCP-XXXX must be the ones who return the tees to their rightful place. Changes will not be reverted if a golf tee is not returned.
After 9 minutes without contact of SCP-XXXX, all instances of SCP-XXXX-G will return to SCP-XXXX, thus sealing the permanent effects the subject has gained from taking SCP-XXXX-G.
