Item #: SCP-X (not yet numbered)
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-X is to be kept in a cubic container made out of any organic material, preferably wood. Said container is then required to be placed inside an electromagnetic field, supervising being required in case of anomalous behavior. An emergency generator is to be placed inside the containment chamber, regular check-ups being required in case of dents.
The chamber in which SCP-X is placed is to be stored in an area of at least ███ square kilometers away from any Keter-Class SCPs.
In case of a Security Breach, a reinforced, airtight and soundproof steel door is to be locked with at least █ Foundation Personnel guarding it.
Tests utilizing SCP-X are to be done on SCPs under the following conditions:
-In case said SCP is classified as Safe, approval must be given by at least two Class 3 Personnel.
-In case said SCP is classified as Euclid, approval must be given directly by the O5 Council.
-In case said SCP is classified as Thaumiel, testing can be done freely as long as the object is not in use.
-Due to the increased chances of a containment breach, no Keter-class SCP are to be used under any circumstances.
Description: SCP-X is a small, rusted collar made by the ██████ brand. The collar is made of two parts: a small chain and 48 Azure-like gems placed in each of the holes. Tests have detected the material used for the chain to be iron, while the gems appear to be made of an entirely new chemical substance from now on referred to as █-X.
When nearby any sort of metallic compound, SPC-X will begin to attract and distort the object. This property does not however occur in the following instances:
-SCP-X is in contact with any other SCP.
-The metallic compound is in contact with any sort of organic material.
-SCP-X is placed inside an electromagnetic field.
It is currently believed that the creation of SCP-X was achieved by the █-X minerals attracting iron around them. However, this statement does not explain the second anomalous property of said SCP.
When in contact with most other SCPs, SCP-X will change size to completely surround the neck of said SCPs. If no neck is found, SCP-X will attach itself to the SCP in any possible way achievable. The limit of what SCP-X can attach to has yet to have been understood. However, SCP-X is unable to attach itself to man-made SCPs. After the attachment, SCP-X will proceed to enhance the anomalous ability of said SCP, or modify the look of said SCP.
