Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secure cell at all times. Door to cell room remains locked with password changed daily. Surveillance is strictly prohibited. All personnel entering SCP-XXXX containment area must undergo the SCP-XXXX Training in Handling and Observation program, including an intensive survey and 1 hour of training with assigned administrator. UPDATED 3/12/20[REDACTED]: SCP-XXXX Training in Handling and Observation has been discontinued.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a unclothed Caucasian male of 5.7 meters (estimated from photos). Appearance is thin and malnourished. SCP has not exhibited any human needs such as eating, sleeping, bathing, or enrichment.

SCP has been observed to mimic the movements, speech, and orientation of any human observing it. This includes observation through means of cameras and video (one video has shown to portray different actions and behavior from SCP based on whoever is viewing the video.) These imitations are instantaneous and flawless.

One study in particular of this SCP showed that while its basic body movements and speech depends solely on whoever it is attached to, its physical orientation affects all those observing it. One researcher viewing back a tape in which SCP was purposefully re-orientated toward the camera caused his head to turn, synchronized with the SCP. (See Incident XXXX-3) Because of this behavior, its face has not been documented.

Tests are difficult and painstaking to conduct, and the option of discontinuing study of SCP-XXXX has been discussed. Currently the use of SCP-XXXX Training in Handling And Observation has been paused.

Currently SCP-XXXX is contained in Containment Center A-[REDACTED]. Lock is changed daily and no surveillance has been taken. As of 4/5/20[REDACTED], the entrance to Containment Center A-[REDACTED] has been remodeled to have the appearance of a locked broom closet to dissuade entry. (See Incident XXXX-7)

Addendum: Though facial recognization is currently impossible, other data has been gathered including estimated height, weight, and general build of subject. Incidentally, the data is a 96% match to a missing person's report in Tulepo, Mississippi.
