Special Containment Procedures: SCP-#### is currently uncontained due to the minor nature of its anomalous effects. Although containment of SCP-#### wouldn't require major effort, it has been deemed that SCP-#### serves little to no risk to the general public in its current state. Unless SCP-#### exhibits a growth in anomalous severity, it is to remain uncontained for the forseeable future.

SCP-#### in the movie Giant (1956)

Description: SCP-#### is the classification given to Hollywood actor James Dean, and their anomalous effects exhibited towards individuals who observe or reside near SCP-#### for extended periods of time. These effects manifest as a seemingly unspurred liking toward SCP-####, and subjects interviewed have been reported as calling SCP-#### "incredibly charismatic and kind" after exposure periods as short as 4.5 minutes.

These anomalous effects are not limited to mere exposure to SCP-#### in a public setting. Any and all theatrical releases featuring SCP-#### seem to inherit its anomalous effects, exhibiting increased public ratings and box office profits compared to similar movies lacking SCP-#### in any role. This effect upon films has been observed occurring even when SCP-#### played as a background character or an unintentional appearance. Oftentimes, these clips featuring SCP-####, despite their relatively unimportant effect on the film as a whole, were saved and distributed among the general populace due to SCP-####'s occurance. Additionally, viewing and review by individuals immune to standard anomalous effects of films featuring SCP-#### often resulted in disdain towards the film, with said individuals especially criticizing SCP-###'s acting style and skill. Due to this, it is now believed that SCP-####'s common popularity and praise among the populace resulted solely from its anomalous effects

Neutralization: SCP-#### was neutralized on September 30th, 1955, in a car crash at the junction of California State Route 46 and California State Route 41 near Cholame, California. An archived phone call made from near SCP-####'s departure point to actress Ursula Andress, whom was theorized to have been dating SCP-#### at the time, is believed to be the reason for SCP-####'s neutralization. The audio log is kept below.

Phone rings for approx. 32 seconds, Andress picks up.

SCP-####: Do you hate me, Ursula?

Andress: Jimmy, why are you calling? And why to ask a question like that?

SCP-####: Because I don't think anybody does Ursula. Everybody loves me. I can't stop it.

Andress: Is that such a bad thing Jimmy? I mean- what do people have to hate about you? You're a great guy Jimmy, you're kind and charismatic.

The line remains silent for approx. 2 minutes.

SCP-####: I knew you would say that.

The call stays on line despite SCP-####'s apparent departure from the telephone. SCP-#### is then heard lighting a cigarette, entering their vehicle, and exiting onto the I-5 freeway.
