SCP-XXXX-1 subject shown on SCP-XXXX-B.

Special Containment Procedures: The five (5) four (4) instances of SCP-XXXX are to be hung up in their standard containment cell at Site-63. Guards are to observe and report when an SCP-XXXX instance changes its appearance, and investigations and tracking into any new persons who appear on any SCP-XXXX instances must take place immediately after change is observed.
Update: If any SCP-XXXX-1 subjects give birth prematurely, MTF Rho-16 "Painting Pursuers" are to dispatch to the birthplace and retrieve the SCP-XXXX-2 instance as well as administer any needed amnestics.

Description: SCP-XXXX is the collective term for five (5) four (4) stretched canvas oil paintings of varying sizes. (hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-A through SCP-XXXX-E SCP-XXXX-D.) Their outward appearance shows no difference to non-anomalous paintings of the same making, and their composition of typical oil paint, wood, and canvas shows no difference to standard paintings either. No artist signatures nor markings on the canvas and wood itself can be seen. The first noticeable anomalous effect SCP-XXXX-_¹shows is the change of female subject painted on the canvas once every 2 months (9 weeks). Style of painting on SCP-XXXX-_ seems to vary from subject to subject, with standard realist design as well as abstract designs being observed. Change in subject is typically instant, and testing has shown the paint seems to dry very quickly, if not instantaneously, once changed. Though painting or otherwise marking on SCP-XXXX-_ is possible, any changes or markings made will dissapear with change in subject.

Most human subjects (hereby known as SCP-XXXX-1) that appear on the painting display properties in common. All SCP-XXXX-1 instances show no health issues, and are approximately 31 weeks pregnant, and will always almost always give birth at 40 weeks of pregnancy. All Most (see Incident Log 4-13-18-P) SCP-XXXX-1 subjects' children (hereby referred to as SCP-4639-2) will suffer an intrapartum death², cause of death in SCP-XXXX-2 instances will usually manifest as birth defects and asphyxiation. Medical testing and ultrasounds of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 instances has shown that there is no apparent reason for SCP-XXXX-2 instances to die during birth, leading to the conclusion that SCP-XXXX-_ instances themselves cause the death of SCP-XXXX-2 instances through currently unknown means.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was brought to the Foundation's attention after a family in ███, Italy reported to the local police force that their painting had changed appearance, suspecting a break-in. Foundation agents implanted into the police force investigated the family and proper SCP classification was given to the SCP-XXXX instance. The family was made to believe that there was a break-in, and a false news campaign was enacted in the surrounding neighborhood. Since then, all other four (4) three (3) instances have been tracked and contained.

- Incident Log 4-13-18-P

On 4-13-18 at approximately 11:34 AM GMT, Sandra ████ gave birth to a male SCP-XXXX-2 instance in ███, Ohio despite the subjects appearance on SCP-XXXX-E. The birth was premature, being 2 weeks prior to the expected 40 week delivery, and the SCP-XXXX-1 subject showed minor memetic side effects. (see Interview Log XXXX-1) Vital signs of the SCP-XXXX-2 instance showed no health problems nor extreme issues, with the only observed anomalous traits of the SCP-XXXX-2 subject being the replacement of the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin with standard painters canvas, and the replacement of all bodily fluids in the subject with consumer-grade cleaning turpentine. Testing shows that the canvas and turpentine are in no way biological, and matches other standard products compared. Class B amnestics were given to the medical staff that witnessed the delivery. Amnestics were purposefully not administered to the SCP-XXXX-1 subject for the purposes of interviewing. The SCP-XXXX-2 subject is currently under foundation care at Site-35, and has shown no further anomalous effects.

Approximately 2 weeks after an SCP-XXXX-2 instance was successfully born, SCP-XXXX-E "vanished." (according to on-site staff). Upon further inspection, a pool of dark red "Quinacridone Red" oil paint was seen trailing down the wall at the SCP-XXXX instance's previous location. While correlation between SCP-XXXX-E's dissapearance to SCP-XXXX-2's successful birth is known, the exact cause is yet to be seen. Search for the missing SCP-XXXX instance is underway in order to prevent a possible breach.

Note: SCP-XXXX has now been given Euclid classification due to the unpredictable status of an SCP-XXXX-1 subject successfully giving birth to an SCP-XXXX-2 subject without Foundation knowledge.

-Interviewer: Dr. Wyles, senior advisor on SCP-XXXX.
-Interviewee: Sandra ████, only SCP-XXXX-1 subject to successfully give birth.

Dr. Wyles: Hello, Miss ████. I understand you recently gave birth to a, peculiar, young boy?

S. ████ doesn't respond for approximately 12 minutes

Dr. Wyles: Miss, I'm going to need an ans-

S. ████ His name is "Renhet"

Dr. Wyles: Huh, Renhet. Certainly strange, what does it mean?

S. ████ Renhet. Purity.

Dr. Wyles: So you chose to name your son after purity. Does that have any connection to the anomalous condition of your child?

S. ████ stays silent for 6 minutes, doesn't respond to outside stimuli or further questions.

Dr. Wyles: Miss, I understand this may be hard for you. Your son was born a freak, but we need information from-

> 15:58 GMT Interview is interrupted by an on-site, minor security breach unrelated to SCP-XXXX. Interview room is secured and guards remain outside to ensure interviewee subject remains, S. ████ is left in interviewing room for approximately 46 minutes. 24 minutes into noted isolation, S. ████ straightens in her seat, and her physical features become significantly lighter, losing color. This was later discovered to be due to the lack of any C_18,H10_N2_O4 cells³ in her body. Despite the rapid change, the subject showed no reaction and remained calm.

>16:45 GMT Dr. Wyles re-enters interviewing room, shows initial confusion to S. ████'s changed appearance. Requests review of security tape to identify cause.

Dr. Wyles: I apologize for the sudden interruption, seems you were busy while I was gone. What caused you to lighten up?

S. ████: Thought I would make some changes while I was here. How's your day going doctor?

Dr. Wyles: While you were here? Are you talking about the containment site?

S. ████: With all due respect doctor, I would greatly appreciate if we could now speed this up. I'll answer your questions and be on my way.

Dr. Wyles decides to continue conducting the interview, though does request the guards be on stand-by for the rest of the interview due to the shift in S. ████'s attitude and personality.

Dr. Wyles: Did you know that your son was going to be born anomalous?

S. ████: When she walked through those hospital doors to deliver, she knew Renhet was different. You people shouldn't have taken the child away from her.

Dr. Wyles: You're speaking in third person. Does this have to do with your physical change?

S. ████: This is the party responsible for that "freak" you speak of, though I assure you Sandra is safe.

Dr. Wyles: And why are you talking to me? You don't seem to benefit from it. Hell, now we just know you exist.

S. ████: To protect Renhet.

Dr. Wyles: How would talking to me protect him?

S. ████ I know she can't protect him properly. It has been, what, 2 days? She already managed to get him taken into this place. I don't trust her. She brought in Renhet, that is all I needed her for. Figured I would show up to ensure she doesn't mess up even more.

Dr. Wyles: Why did you need her to bring in Renhet? The baby seems to just be covered in canvas and full of turpentine.

S. ████ To purify what you have covered.

Dr. Wyles: I need a more specific answer than that. What have we "covered?"

S. ████ You don't know do you? Look around. Painted walls, painted ceiling, painted [EXPLETIVE] everything. You don't know how to use something without plastering your own, expression, onto it. This boy, he's gonna change that. You can do whatever you want with him. Test him, poke him with needles, make him a freak in your database or whatever, but you need to realize. Realize that he is made to clean this forsaken place, he is the blank canvas.

//S. ████ started showing spasms approximately 7 minutes after the interview concluded, (later discovered to be due to a grand mal seizure, concentrated in the frontal lobe and brain stem) leading to her death. Whether the seizure was naturally or anomalously caused is currently unknown.
On-Site researchers designated to SCP-XXXX later reported all SCP-XXXX-_ instances were found lying on the floor, several feet from their previous hung location. Review of footage shows the paintings suddenly ejected from the wall via an unknown force at approximately 16.4 meters/second. Upon further footage review, the SCP instances were ejected at approximately the same time that S. ████ was observed changing personality and appearance during interview SCP-XXXX-1-P7
