Grimdarkguardian

A ball of ultraviolet light combined with dangerous levels of electricity that hunts for bodies of the deceased with a notable preference for sentient bodies. Upon finding a deceased body it will seemingly phase into the body's chest cavity/chest depending on the organism and attempt to bond itself with the corpse. Depending on the body's size it will take the entity between 3 and 8 minutes to have control of the body's motor cortex. Once control is established, it will attempt to access the prefrontal cortex, hippocampus, amygdala, and cerebellum. If the brain is not in a condition where these parts can be "jump-started" by its electrical current, the entity will still attempt to impersonate the corpse, though it will maintain a focus of avoiding other sentient beings. During the time the entity controls a corpse, it will drain it of all physical matter, seemingly absorbing it, during this time the body will noticeably resemble an older and older corpse, making the entity more and more cautious in areas with multiple sentient beings.

As the corpse becomes nothing left besides skin and bones, the entity will phase out as it draws the last of the corpse into itself, fully absorbing the corpse. It is currently believed that the entity uses these bodies as its fuel and gains the most fuel out of the corpse's brain, preferring bodies of sentients most likely due to their advanced brains compared to typical non-sentients. The more time that transpires without the entity draining a corpse, the dimmer and smaller it becomes. It's typical avoidance of living sentients becomes ignored and it will attempt to get close enough to living sentients to provide a lethal shock from its seemingly self-generated current before phasing into the newly created corpse.

Containment for this entity is as follows. This entity is to be contained in a room of clay 5 by 5 meters with half the room cut off with an extra wall and door. The cell's floor, ceiling, and walls must each be at least 5 inches thick. Every five days a guard must enter the first section of the cell and lay a corpse provided from either tests, accidents, or transferred over by sites. Once this is done, the guard is to leave the cell and the intermediary door is to be opened for the entity, allowing it to claim the corpse. Once it claims the corpse, the entity is to be persuaded into moving back to its original section through simulated sparks. If for some reason there are no available corpses, the entity is to be provided one D class once 10 days have passed since the entity's last feeding.
