Containment Procedures
SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a standard filing cabinet in the centre of site-64 within its own folder labelled SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is to be checked on once every 7-14 days to confirm it has not transferred itself to another part of the site-64 to keep a breach to minimum chance. Any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be reported and any instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be stopped as fast as possible to keep events and risk to staff low.
Should SCP-XXXX replace itself with SCP-XXXX-1 all staff are to look for other staff members showing signs of being out of character, any staff exhibiting unusual behaviour are to be halted and reported.
Description:
SCP-XXXX is a 8.5 x 11 inch script that manifest itself on 2-6 pieces of other written material that are being used by individuals within 1800 square meters of the original SCP-XXXX (manifestations are designated SCP-XXXX-1. Upon doing so the script will "cast" the individuals it has presented itself to into roles of characters described in the script, if any individual reads even just the title, then events described within the script will then begin to transpire. Lines assigned to individuals at first appear to be lines the individual would actually say of their own free will, if an individual purposefully or accidentally says any line that appears on the first page they will begin to follow the scripts directions, when this occurs individuals will the be designated (SCP-XXXX-2) the further along SCP-XXXX-2 follow the script the larger scale the events described occur. The storyline is never the same, although on some occurrences very similar to other past versions. However if an outside individual intervenes with one of SCP-XXXX-2 the event will hault completely and
SCP-XXXX-1 will de-manifest and the material it had once replaced will return.
If any SCP-XXXX-2 stop following the directions or deviate from SCP-XXXX-1, all scripted events will cease and SCP-XXXX-1 will dematerialize, however the individual who deviated from the script (now designated SCP-XXXX-3) will experience a none desirable event. These events range from mild inconveniences to personal tragedies depending on how far into the story the deviation occurred. (examples, {[mild] Disappearance of car keys just before a job interview} {[Major] Failure of otherwise healthy organs} {[Extreme] REDACTED}
furthermore extreme events only seem to occur when an SCP-XXXX-2 either mocks, judges, dislikes, re-writes, marks-up or destroys SCP-XXXX-1. this appears to upset a group of entities known as “the Crew” who are rarely ever involved (Designated SCP-XXXX-A through F)
different known causes that summon instances of SCP-XXXX-A-F include: wondering how to deliver a line or stage direction (summons “director” SCP-XXXX-A), not being able to afford an event in the script ( “producer” SCP-XXXX-B ), entering an area with high winds or large amounts of noise pollution ( “boom Operator” SCP-XXXX-C ) and mishandling SCP-XXXX ( “writer” SCP-XXXX-D). Only 2 of SCP-XXXX-A-F appear to speak however only SCP-XXXX-A seems to be capable of forming different sentences. SCP-XXXX-A offers “advice” related to the SCP-XXXX-1s questions or concerns about the script while the writer always repeats 3 sentences “why can’t you respect my work?!. You think you can do better than what I’ve written?!. I’m Writing you out!”
Further research into the identities of SCP-XXXX-A-F discovered through finger prints recovered from SCP-XXXX and Voice analysis of SCP-XXXX-A and SCP-XXXX-D revealed the identities of two living individuals Connor (REDACTED) and Tucker (REDACTED). Who upon being interviewed revealed that they at one point were both seeking occupations in the Writing and directing fields. However they now have no interest with either fields and show absolutely no regrets in their decisions to stop pursuing their dreams. However when asked why they stopped they said that they "Just lost the desire". it was revealed that Connor and Tucker were a group of 6 who all had the desire to create the "Greatest Film Ever" however each member of their group now show no intentions to pursue this dream. Further investigation reveals they all lost their desires on the same day indicating an event.
