Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a cabinet made from furniture grade cold rolled stainless steel roughly .6 meters in length, .4 meters in width, and .3 meters in height which is located in the infirmary of Site-██.
After use or testing of SCP-XXXX it is to be folded until it is roughly ¼ of its original size, and placed into the correct cabinet in the infirmary.
SCP-XXXX is to be used on personnel that have been recently exposed to bodily harm for 5 to 30 minutes depending on the severity of their injury, if any personnel use SCP-XXXX for over 30 minutes they are to immediately be separated from SCP-XXXX and terminated.
Due to several tests involving the harming of many personnel further testing is prohibited unless authorized by a level 4 researcher.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a black wool twin sized blanket exactly 1.6 meters in width and 2.1 meters in length, the blanket’s tag shows that it was manufactured by the Pendleton Wool Mills company in 2006, though no record of its manufacturing exists with the company.
SCP-XXXX’s anomalous effects manifest whenever an injured human is completely enveloped by the blanket, when this happens the blanket will immediately begin to heal the person that is hidden under the blanket, the healing will take from 5 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the severity of the wounds. While underneath the blanket subjects have reported a warm feeling acquainted to being held by a maternal figure. In the event that a subject uses SCP-XXXX for more than 30 minutes they will become extremely attached to the object, not willingly allowing it to be removed, and will have to be removed from SCP-XXXX and terminated.
SCP-XXXX’s anomalous effects can only heal physical wounds and cannot heal death, disease, or mental illness. Any attempt to cure these has failed.
Testing Log-XXXX:
Test 1: Subject D-4671's finger was sliced open by a 2 inch blade, D-4671 was then covered by SCP-XXXX. After 7 minutes of being under the blanket subject D-4671's finger had fully recovered revealing no sign of scare tissue. Subject noted that he felt a warm feeling while under the blanket.
Test 2: Subject D-7893's left arm was cut off, D-7893 was then covered by SCP-XXXX and within 23 minutes D-7893's arm had been replaced by another arm identical to the original, when checked D-7893's original arm remained detached.
Test 3: Subject D-3472 was killed by [Data Expunged], SCP-XXX was then placed over the deceased body, after 30 minutes no change was seen in the corpse.
Test 4: A six year old child with severe autism was brought in for testing and placed underneath SCP-XXXX, after 30 minutes no changes were seen.
Addendum-XXXX-01: Discovery
SCP-XXXX was discovered in ██████ Elementary School in ██████ after reports of injuries being miraculously healed by a blanket in the nurse’s office. During recovery an unscheduled fire drill was instructed by the principle where the students of the school were directed to one side of the school, while MTF Gamma-5 entered from the opposite side of the building, Gamma-5 reached the nurse's office and retrieved the anomaly before administering 125mg of class A amnestics to all school staff and students who had came into contact with SCP-XXXX.
Addendum-XXXX-02: 16/6/2018 Incident Report Log
During the initial testing of SCP-XXXX a D class personnel was exposed to SCP-XXXX for longer then 30 minutes. After 35 minutes onsite guards tried to remove SCP-XXXX from D-████, D-████ then became physically violent, attacking the guards before knocked unconscious. D-████ was later found dead due to suicide in his containment cell.
