*Item #:* SCP-XXXX

*Object Class:* Neutralized (formerly Safe)

*Special Containment Procedures:* SCP-XXXX is to be held within a standard storage cell located at Secure Storage Facility Site-64. All research inquiries must be approved by Site-64 Assistant Director of Research, Dr. Sanchez.

*Description:* SCP-XXXX Is a standard, wood patterned, steel exterior door, with a height of 203 cm, a width of 91 cm, and 4.5 cm in depth. The anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX only become apparent when multiple persons are present in a room where SCP-XXXX acts as an entrance. One person in said room will experience what is described as "knocking" emanating from SCP-XXXX, here will be referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. None of SCP-XXXX-1's companions in the room will hear the knocking. The method which SCP-XXXX uses to decide SCP-XXXX-1 is seemingly random. Knocking will continue until SCP-XXXX-1 attempts to open SCP-XXXX. Opening SCP-XXXX will result in confusion from SCP-XXXX-1, as no one is present on the other side of SCP-XXXX to knock. If SCP-XXXX-1 attempts to inquire whether any companions in the room also heard the knocking

*Discovery Log:* Foundation sleeper agent ███████████ was alerted to the presence of SCP-XXXX after hearing of numerous complaints of so called "Ding Dong Ditching", all originating from a single home in ███████████, Oregon. Upon seizure of the home by Mobile Task Force Psi-7 "Home Improvement", brief research revealed that, not the home, but only the front entry door was the source of the anomalous properties.
