Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid Thaumiel
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be housed in a standard humanoid containment chamber within Site-?. It is to be allowed to roam the facility for 2 hours a day while accompanied by a Foundation guard, as the subject has been reported as very agreeable when not under its anomalous effects. Subject is not to be allowed within 50 feet of any device capable of playing music unless during testing. During transport, subject is to wear both internal and external ballistic ear protection in addition to standard humanoid transportation precautions.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Caucasian male, approximately 22 years of age, of slightly above average physical condition. IQ tests administered recorded an IQ of approximately 110. Subject prefers to be referred to by the name "Calvin".
If SCP-XXXX is exposed to music of any style, however, it immediately undergoes changes in mental and physical composition according to the song it is hearing. See Experiment Log XXXX-A for full current list of tested songs.
SCP-XXXX was first discovered by Agent ██████ during a routine check of a "freakshow" display in ██████. Subject was found dressed in clown makeup, preforming various acts of human impossibility in keeping with those of a circus performer. However, during a power outage in which the circus ambience shut off, subject's face returned to it's current state and it rushed to Agent ██████, requesting to be taken from the circus by whatever means possible.
Addendum: After Event XXXX-1A, SCP-XXXX has agreed to operate in service of the Foundation to serve as a method of mitigating containment breaches of Euclid and Keter-class SCPs.
Experiment Log XXXX-A:
Test A- █████
Subject: Circus ambience, identical to that played at the location where SCP-XXXX was discovered.
Results: Subject's face changed to appear as though clown makeup had been applied, and the subject's body became extremely pliable and stretchy.
Analysis: Control test to ensure replication of results.
Test B- █████
Subject: George Frederic Handel's Sarabande
Results: Subject began crying, standing from the table and staring past the researchers conducting the test. No physical changes noted.
Test C- █████
Subject: "Your Man" by Josh Turner
Results: Subject displayed no observable physical changes, but all female observers in the room were noticed subtly attempting to get closer to the subject throughout the song's duration.
Analysis: Subject's anomalous abilities can subconsciously affect other people. The effect does not appear to be memetic, but rather some sort of physical response to an unknown stimuli.
Test D- █████
Subject: "Big Bad John" by Jimmy Dean
Results: Subject grew to approximately 6' 6" with a highly advanced musculature. Song was stopped after the third verse.
Test E- █████
Subject: "Indestructible" by Disturbed
Results: According to researchers present during the experiment, subject grew to approximately 10 feet tall with a highly advanced musculature, though camera records indicate only slight vertical growth. Subject stood from the table at which the experiments were being conducted, and walked through the east wall, shearing approximately ██ inches of steel. Security arrived on the scene, but were incapable of stopping SCP-XXXX on its path to the exit until the song had played through entirely, at which point the subject shrunk to his normal physique and surrendered.
Analysis: More testing of the upper limit of the subject's physical changes is required.
Note:"Who the hell had the bright idea of using an MP3 player without some sort of remote killswitch? I want that installed before any further testing with SCP-XXXX." Dr. Adam Leeward
Test F- █████
Subject: "Indestructible" by Disturbed
Results: Subject was placed at one end of a firing chamber, blindfolded for the experiment. After the song was started, Foundation guards began firing upon the subject with weaponry of increasing capacity. The last test before the song's completion was an FGM-148 Javelin Anti-Tank Missile. None of the weapons tested left any mark on the subject, serving only to destroy its clothing.
Analysis: Subject may well be indestructible while listening to music suiting that theme. Other tests must be completed based on different physical and mental abilities.
