Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4681 is located at a school in [REDACTED], [REDACTED]. It is surrounded at all times by concrete wall of at least 10 feet in height and 4 feet in width, as to allow MTF-Omega-18 to maintain constant patrol. The walls are each 2 km in length, forming a perfect square. All interior walls are covered in Q-Grade barbed wire. There is to be no more than 5 feet between MTF-Omega-18 squad members on patrol at any given time. All instances of SCP-4681 that come within 70 meters of a wall are to be shot on site.
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4681-2
SCP-4681-2 is to be contained in a 10 meter by 10 meter by 10 meter concrete room with padded walls. At no point may personnel of level 3 or below enter the holding cell, and all direct contact with any of the three SCP-4681-2 entities must be approved by a member O5 council. There is to be one microphone and loud speaker built into the ceiling, flush with the ceiling, and concealed so that they can neither be seen nor touched. The holding cell must be completely barren at all times. The cell does not have any material that can be loosened nor removed. Neither of the three scp-4681-2 entities are to be given clothes or any other personal items, regardless of how persuasively they ask. The box is to be suspended 30 feet above the ground at the site 15 facility at [REDACTED], guards are to be armed with cattle prods at all times. No kinetic firearms are allowed on the premises at any time.
Description: SCP-4681 is not yet fully understood. It is believed to be similar in nature to the CP-079 AI. SCP-4681 manifested itself on the [REDACTED] school computer lab, and soon made use of the entire school's computing system. Sometime before 8/6/[REDACTED], SCP-4681 is believed to have contracted a virus, leading it to evolve in ways not previously observed in computer programs. SCP-4681 is understood to act as a biological program upon contact with living subjects. SCP-4681 spreads itself like a virus, prolonged contact with SCP-4681 or any iteration of SCP-4681 causes the subject to be infected by the SCP-4681 virus. The only known cure for stage 1 infections is amputation of the affected area. There is no known cure for stage 2 infections. Upon progressing to stage 2, subjects are consumed into the SCP-4681 hive mind.
SCP-4681-1 is the general classification for low level subjects of the SCP-4681 hive mind. This individuals maintain all prior abilities, needs, and appear to progress normally in regards to age and health. All known SCP-4681-1s are contained by MTF-Omega-18 at the [REDACTED] school.
