Description: SCP-XXXX is a biological software produced by ██████████████████ Bioinformatics Solutions, a bio-soft company located in ███████████, Canada. The general interface of this program appears to be indistinguishable from the other existing copies.
The software is contained within the computer,a customized version of ████████ model made by ███████████ [ generally considered for processing intensive lab work ]. Hardware is the same compared to other models.
A few code modifications is observed and the list of modifications is procured form the company and is cross checked with the object. No changes are noticed apart from the customization provided by the manufacturing company. For the complete list, refer to Addendum XXXX-CD-MDF.
The basic function of the software is to provide structural, functional and biological information about the proteins genetic end-products, specifically the proteins. It can be particularly used as a complex structure prediction and computational modification tool. It is extremely effective, beyond the current scale of comparison, even those in Foundation's possession.
The anomalous behaviour arises when an protein input sequence is selected(can be a protein, mRna or other translatable elements) and modified by using the software. Program executes normally till a certain point, where the user [now the "Control"] is presented a series of choices mid-way of the program. In particular, seven options are presented, six(6) unlabeled and one(1) labeled "Radius".
The Control can enter any value for these settings, but can select the required unit of measurement only for the Radius option.
The only unlabeled option that is attributed [ refer to Addendum XXXX-U1 ] is the top-most option. It is proposed that this indicates the bio-molecule that is being altered in-silico [ within the system ] and in-vivo [ within the organism effected ].
For further execution of the program, the radius option must be set, while the other options are optional.
Once set, the program executes the rest and provides an output, containing files related to the modified proteinend-products. Along with this, selected proteinmolecule present in any living being within the set radius [excluding the control] experiences the same modification/alteration.

RECOVERY - At ██/██/████, Foundation received information about possibly anomalous object at ████████████████ University, Canada. First respondents were local PD, but soon the case is taken over by a specialized MTF dealing with Anomalous machines in particular [MTF-139].
On arrival, they were informed by the staff that the Biotechnology lab within the campus was in lock-down and all the people working in the lab are stuck. Recovery procedures were laid down and the door is forcefully opened.
The room is covered, most parts , by a red liquid later confirmed to be blood. Viscera and deteriorated organs and innards are scattered around in a disorderly fashion. At the other end of the room is a sole cabin [the lead researcher ██████████'s compartment] which contained the Object. Recovery followed without any problems.
