It was a nice Autumn day, perfect for the day of the celebration which we all know and love. The day were kids can get free candies as a reward for visiting houses.
John loved this day, this was his favorite day of the year for on simple reason, he got to go out with his little group of friends to a little place called Dusty's Inc.
This was a little tradition that John had with his friends, they used to go trick-or-treating on every Halloween, and then hang out at the little family diner.
Dusty's had 3 mascots; one of which was a dog, and the other one was a Pigeon. The third mascot of the crew is unheard of, it used to be a nice, and shiny plastic bear. No one knows what happened to it, some say it malfunctioned and got thrown out, but others say that it went missing. Still, no one knows for sure.
John was beyond exited! He has been waiting for this day all year, and today was the day…
*Knock*Knock* John heard the door all the way from his bed room, his 3 friends were waiting outside: Billy, Josh,and Logan, but do he thought… John rushed to the door, he opened it getting greeted by two really tall people dressed in black… John was confused, he had no clue what was going on.
"Who are you guy!?"
"We were two of the workers at Dusty's Inc…"
"Wait, what do you mean 'were'?"
"Didn't you here kid? We shut down because that dump became bankrupt, we didn't want to alarm anyone, so we just kept it a secret."
"So your telling me that the day you guys were going to shut down was on Halloween day? Why?"
"We don't know why today kid, but we decided to tell most of the people that went there on a regular basis."
As the two worker and John were talking about the shut down, Billy and Josh were walking on the side walk right in front of Johns house while Logan was trailing behind because his shoe was untied.
"What's going on?" Billy ask with a really timid voice
"Dusty's is shutting down" said one of the men in black.
"What! Why!?"
"It went bankrupt" said John in an aggressive voice towards the workers. "I thought Dusty's was doing well, what really happened?"
"We are not certified to give that information…" said one of the workers in a voice were he tried to sound dominant
"Fine, if you wont tell us we'll go investigate our selves!" said Logan finally at Johns front porch.
"NO, DON'T, its really dangerous, you don't know who's out there… *sigh*, if you really want to know, we'll tell you, but its a really long story…"
"Okay, cool, do you guys want to come inside? asked John.
"John! Are you sure we should let them in your house? asked Josh
"Yea, their fine, my parents are out working and I have the house to my self for the whole day, I'd say their fine"
"Aright then, I trust you.."
Finally everyone in the house, the two so called workers were in the house with the four boys…
"Okay, now tell us what happened" asked Logan as we all sat down in the living room.
"So we opened at 12, like always, then we had a 9 year old's party, and there were supposed to be 8 kids in total, but only 6 arrived… The parents were there and everything, 16 total parents in the party room were the cake was… We sent some other workers to find them… But it was too late… One of the little brats found his way to the breaker room, and before you know it, he was chomped right in the left part of the torso, by what… We have no idea, all the mascots were preforming on stage except for the Bear… That was the 7 out of the 8 children… the other 6 were still watching the dove, and the wolf thing, the last child was still missing, so we check the security cameras, and saw a weird silhouette at the darkest corner of camera 6B which was the parts and services room, so we went to check it out an-"
"Wait so you didn't tell the parents that their child got murdered?!?!" asked Billy while freaking out.
"Not yet, we wanted to make sure that we knew were the last little brat was… So let continue… We went to camera 6B which was the parts and services area, and we were greeted with another dead child… We decided to put both dead bodies in a bag, and we went out the back door and threw them in the dumpster and ran for it…"
"Wait… What do you mean by: ran for it?" asked Josh.
"I mean… Not a run for it, a tactical escape…" said the man on the left.
"You idiot! You just exposed us!" screamed the man on the right.
John got an alert on his phone reading: 2 murderers on the loose, lock you doors and windows and don't leave your house, last seen at Dusty's Inc, and their wearing all black.
John pulled Logan over to the kitchen, and told Josh to stall the two men in black by making small talk with the workers.
"Excuse us for a moment" said John.
"Logan… look, we have let two murderers into my house" John showed Logan the alert.
"Holy s***, we have to tell the others."
"Agreed, but quick."
John sent Billy and Josh a message reading: R.U.N, up to my room quick!
Before you knew it, both of them started to run up the stairs with Logan and John up to Johns room. They locked the door and Josh and Billy asked what the hell was going on, so, John whipped out his phone and showed both Billy and Josh the alert…
All four of them could hear the two men walking up the stairs with their heavy boots stomping on the wooden stairs. They knew they had to hide, or else they would end up like those two poor 9 year olds.
John told everyone to go out of his window and crawl up to the roof while Billy called 911, while everyone was struggling to get on the roof, John could hear the door brake down and the two men slowly approaching the window, one of the guys poked his head out the window and saw Johns foot, he reached for it and barely missed, Billy said that the cops were on their way, but John knew that they weren't safe on the roof, so John told everyone to slowly get off the roof, and they started to make a run for it, both men on their tail.
They ran and ran with both men right behind them eventually John made a sharp turn into an alley in an attempt to loose them, but it lead into a dead end. Cornered… John, Billy, Logan, and Josh knew it was their end, the men closing on them quickly, the four boys huddled together hoping everything would go away.
"Ha, you all thought you could get away that easily, well you thought wrong, we're going to slaughter you all, and we will show no mercy."
The four boys saw both of the guys knifes go up in the air…
The knife was coming in fast and BANG, BANG.
John had no clue what had just happened, the two men dropped dead right in front of the huddle of boys.
"Ha, aren't you guys glad to see us, I bet this is a day you wont forget…"
