Description:
SCP-4034 appears to be a “Tiger II” tank embedded in rock. After entry the hatch will close and lock itself if no one has entered for exactly 35 seconds. After the hatch closes D-class have reported to fall unconscious for an estimated 2-5 hour period. Any D-Class personnel who have come back have stated that they woke up inside of the tank in the middle of a desert. Each subject has reported to hear a constant whirring sound that increases the further they move away from the tanks.

D-Class personnel has reported to have found a village inside the anomalous space, although at this point 10 out of 16 subjects reported the whirring sound was "unbearable" and have denied requests to keep moving forward and turn around. The subjects that returned to site 4034 have talked about other D-Class that were not sent on the [same] expedition. As seen in journal log 1 the subject had claimed he had been paired with someone named "Josh", despite being sent alone. These are likely the result of hallucinations from SCP-4034-1 which is believed to harness cognitohazard effects.

4 out of 16 returning subjects had sustained heavy injuries in the expedition. Subjects described what was attacking them. They described it as an entity approximately two and a half meter tall humanoid creature that was extremely skinny apart from it's arms, which were "thick and almost longer than it's legs". it’s face was “melted” so it's skin was hanging off its face. According to D-9726 "The arms of the entity would extend into a tip of what looked to be bone and a black substance leaked from behind the skin." This entity has been classified as SCP-4034-1.

Expedition 3 is a journal from a D-Class personnel who was sent on an expedition into SCP-4034. All electronic equipment that has been sent into SCP-4034 has stopped working mysteriously.
D-Class were equipped with four days worth of rations, a sleeping bag for each individual, one compass a watch for each individual, four days worth of water, and standard facility backpack and clothing, one video capable camera, a flashlight each and a radio each.
