SCP-XXXX under a microscope, visually identical to another dust heap.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: All specimens of SCP-XXXX is to be contained within an iron chamber monitored by at least two (2) guards with a Level 2 clearance any given time.
If a specimen of SCP-XXXX-2 successfully breaches containment, one (1) to three (3) D-Class personnel are to be escorted into SCP-XXXX’s containment area to hold off any further containment breaches regarding SCP-XXXX-2.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a 23 millimetre tall and 56 millimetre pile of compacted dust, however, more versions of SCP-XXXX has been found, each varying in size and width slightly. When eye contact is made with this SCP, the person who made eye contact with SCP-XXXX will state feeling heavy and ‘ready to pass out’, however, they will remain conscious until the next time it is 8 pm. After this time, the subject will act as it never happened.
When direct physical contact is made with SCP-XXXX, life-forms in a 2 meter radius will obtain aggressive behaviour, unless said life-form is already in heavy damage. In such a case, the transformed life-forms will be put in quarantine for 72 or more hours. If they request to stay in quarantine for longer then needed, they should be terminated.
When SCP-XXXX is in contact with any liquids or non-poisonous gases a green, or is damaged, 2-92 humanoid figures, with no apparent mouth or ears, designated as SCP-XXXX-2 will form. This entity is incredibly hostile and shows no signs of sentience, however, investigation of it’s sentience is being tested.
Addendum 1:
Note the following is an interview with the founder of SCP-XXXX, Mr J███
Dr J███: Hello, Mr J███, we have reason to believe you found SCP-XXXX. Is this correct?
Mr J███: [Incomprehensible]
Dr. J███: Listen, we need you to repeat that. That or termination.
Mr J███: Yes. I-I did. [Incomprehensible]
Dr J███: Pardon?
Mr J███: It- it killed my brother, ██████.
Dr J███: Sorry to hear that. Did you make direct physical contact with SCP-XXXX?
Mr J███: I did.
Dr J███: Alright. Then, uhh, would you mind us taking you to Site-███?
Mr J███: No, NO! YOU CAN’T TAKE ME AWAY. I WILL KILL YOU IF NEEDED!
Mr J███ was not quarantined and instead was terminated on O5 command.
Addendum 2: To Dr. Bright— SCP-XXXX is NOT a toy to make new friends. Actually, if Dr. Bright tries to make even the slightest speech about him, put him in quarantine for 24 hours to be safe.
Addendum 3: This file was written entirely by Dr. Jackalowho has a reputation at the foundation of being nearly demoted to D-Class. Several times. who has their own “special” way of formatting Test Logs. The only exception to this is Addendum 2 which was written by O5-█
Test Logs
Test Log: SCP-XXXX-1-A
Summary: SCP-XXXX-1 was put into SCP-914 and the setting was set to Coarse
Result: A single molecule of dust came out which the foundation named, “CODENAME: 914-DUST-SPECK” on O5 command. This dust molecule exhibited the same anomalous pro pities as SCP-XXXX.
Added Notes: Ok, where are we going to put this thing. Should we just keep it in a locker or something? - Dr. Jackalo
Test Log: SCP-XXXX-1-B-A
Summary: SCP-XXXX-1 was put into SCP-914 and the setting was set to Rough
Result: A slightly smaller version of the original SCP-XXXX-1 specimen was created. The foundation called this, “CODENAME: 914-DUST” on O5 command.
Added Notes: Like what, could we possibly make it smaller and smaller until it dissapears? - Dr. Jackalo
Test Log: SCP-XXXX-1-B-B
Goal: Neuteralize SCP-XXXX
Summary: CODENAME: 914-DUST was put into SCP-914 with the setting set to Rough
Result: CODENAME: 914-DUST remained the same
Status: Failed
Added Notes: Nope, I was wrong. Remind me again why the O5 allows me to conduct my own experiments? - Dr. Jackalo
Test Log: SCP-XXXX-1-C
Summary: SCP-XXXX-1 was put in SCP-914 and the setting was set to 1:1
Result: SCP-173 appeared in place of SCP-XXXX
Followed Events: The new SCP-173 instance was terminated immediately by Dr. Jackalo
Added Notes: I’m going to be terminated. - Dr. Jackalo
Test Log: SCP-XXXX-1-D
Summary: SCP-XXXX-1 was put inside of SCP-914 and the setting was set to Fine
Result: SCP-XXXX came out unchanged.
Added Notes: Guess it was JUST TOO FINE! Sorry I’ll go now. - Dr. Jackalo
Test Log: SCP-XXXX-1-E
Summary: SCP-XXXX-1 was put inside SCP-914 and the setting was set to Very Fine
Quick Jotting: SCP-914 was currently being used so we put the experiment on hold for 10 hours
Result: A loud noise occurred, similar to popping candy — SCP-XXXX had disappeared into seemingly nothing
Added Notes: I feel ready to pass out… - Dr. Jackalo
Test Log: SCP-XXXX-2
Goal: Terminate SCP-682
Summary: SCP-XXXX-1 was put into SCP-682’s containment area
Quick Jotting: Further investigation with SCP-XXXX and SCP-682 will be tested via cross-testing along side other SCPs
(Complex) Result: SCP-682 maintained direct visual contact with SCP-XXXX-1 and became frustrated to the point of scratching SCP-XXXX-1. 29 instances of SCP-XXXX-2 were summoned which proceeded to bite, punch, kick etc. SCP-682 which damaged it to the point of bleeding and low-pitched roaring. Approximately 26 minutes later, SCP-682 stopped bleeding and roaring but proceeded to attack SCP-XXXX-2 leaving only 5 instances left.
Status: Failed
Added Notes: N/A
Test Log: SCP-XXXX-3-A
Summary: CODENAME: 914-DUST-SPECK was applied to SCP-XXXX-1
Result: SCP-XXXX remained the same
Added Notes: That was, uhh, anticlimactic. Let’s just hope it truly did remain the same: Dr. Jackalo
Test Log: SCP-XXXX-3-B
Summary: CODENAME: 914-DUST was applied to SCP-XXXX-2
Result: SCP-XXXX-1 doubled in size.
Added Notes: I hate myself now. - Dr. Jackalo
Test Log: SCP-XXXX-4
Summary: A specimen of SCP-XXXX-2 was put in SCP-096’s containment area
(Complex) Result: SCP-XXXX-2 made direct eye contact with SCP-096. SCP-096 remained calm until 10 minutes later where it chased, but did not kill, SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-2 faded away and SCP-096 returned into its docile state.
Added Notes: WHAT THE █████ JUST HAPPENED!? - Dr. Jackalo
Test Log: SCP-XXXX-5
Summary: A specimen of SCP-XXXX-2 was put into SCP-173’s containment area
(Complex) Result: SCP-XXXX-2 acted normally and broke eye contact with SCP-173 after approximately 12 minutes. SCP-173 proceeded to charge at SCP-XXXX and snapped it’s neck. However, one of SCP-173’s ‘hands’ broke off.
Added Notes: Aight, that was.. the most normal thing I’ve seen happen regarding SCP-XXXX so far. - Dr. Jackalo
