Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX requires no specific containment procedures but is to be fed a diet consisting of apples, oranges and small leaves on a daily basis.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 2 centimetres tall, 9.7 millimetres wide and 3.2 centimetres long female preying mantis. When SCP-XXXX is held in the palm of one’s hand, it will start playing on the holder’s hand. The holder will then start to feel happier by SCP-XXXX secreting a chemical which alters the brain to make them feel happier. When SCP-XXXX stops being held, it will go into a temporary state of unconsciousness for 5 minutes before regaining consciousnesses and wandering aimlessly.

If SCP-XXXX is left alone for too long, it will rub it’s hand together and summon some small toys, which it will then play with. If SCP-XXXX gets bored it will walk away and summon different toys via the aforementioned method.

If SCP-XXXX senses danger, it will summon some toys and throw them at the target. SCP-XXXX displays amazing strength and can carry objects up to 1,000 kilograms for up to 10 minutes. It also displays high intelligence, being able to read and write. SCP-XXXX can feel empathy and sympathy but has not been shown to feel emotions — testing is on-going.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX was found residing beside a vacant volcano, at the edge of the top. A hiker found SCP-XXXX and took it home. Later, when she found out it’s anomalous properties, she took it to the SCP Foundation.
