Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: Because SCP-XXXX is a fixed location in Alaska, it can’t be contained but one (1) security guard should be checking for any and all instances of SCP-XXXX-2 and report the immediately to the foundation. All instances of SCP-XXXX-2 should be incinerated to prevent a possible world-wide event.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small river in Alaska 4 meters in diameter. When a living organism is in river, the thing in the river will slowly decompose into an iceberg (SCP-XXXX-2) gradually gets bigger. If SCP-XXXX-2 gets too big, a dangerous virus known as SCP-XXXX-3 will form.

SCP-XXXX-3 is transmitted via water and other liquids, excluding juices of any kind. People with SCP-XXXX-3 are to be quarantined for 40 days, given that they have not died upon recovery—if it did die upon recovery, incinerate it. Symptoms or SCP-XXXX-3 include insomnia, heavy breathing, uncontrollable coughing and a 79% chance of death. SCP-XXXX-3 can only survive 3-8 minutes without a host. SCP-XXXX-3 seems to be able to multiply(see Test Logs for more info). The only known cure for SCP-XXXX-3 is SCP-500. A vaccine is in testing but so far, no positive results have been found.
