Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6739 is currently being contained within Secure Storage Hallway-C-5. Despite the unpredictable manifestation location of SCP-6739, containment teams have found a way to contain SCP-6739 within Site-95. It is required that at 2:00 PM PST everyday, one D-class personnel is to be sent through the hallway that SCP-6739 is currently inhabiting. D-class subject is to be equipped with a standard issue flashlight and a radio before entering the hallway. During daily exercise of SCP-6739 containment, all research staff are to stop monitoring the hallway, for SCP-6739's containment to be completed. The process is described as Protocol Bystander. The D-class subject must be the only person experiencing the effects at any given time.

SCP-6739 cannot be physically detained, as of current attempts, impossible to resist SCP-6739's mental effects on subjects. If SCP-6739 breaches containment, D-class personnel are to be used to lure the entity back to Secure Storage Hallway-C-5. To effectively contain SCP-6739, it reacts more vividly to mentally fragile humans. D-class subjects involved with the SCP-6739 project are to be treated worse than regular Class D personnel.

The Ethics Committee have attempted to change the state of D-class subjects involved with containment, which both times failed. O5-█​█ and O5-█​█ argued that is necessary to keep the state of D-class as they are as present due to the possibility of a containment breach and staff being targeted by SCP-6739. The Ethics Committee accepted this claim and let the SCP-6739 project resume. The original Ethics Committee file is listed below.

Due to events that occurred in Incident Report.6739.3, updated special containment procedures are necessary to continue containment as listed below.

Due to SCP-6739's presence in Secure Storage Hallway-C-5, Staff Offices-A-1, Staff Lounge-B-7-C, and Euclid Containment Zone-A-4, Protocol Bystander is to be conducted twice a day to lure SCP-6739 back to Secure Storage Hallway-C-5. All rooms involved with SCP-6739's spread have been evacuated and SCP-6739 has been monitored with Echo Priority. Subjects are now being taken exclusively from the SCP-6766 project and remaining D-class personnel are to be transferred to the SCP-6788 experiments.

Description: SCP-6739 has yet to be properly described, as SCP-6739 will not be captured by any surveillance equipment. SCP-6739 has the passive ability to shut off the power to all electrical equipment within a 3 kilometer radius for the duration of it's manifestation. SCP-6739 appears to be 1.9 meters tall from several eye witness reports. The entity talks in an extremely distorted voice, SCP-6739 has an indeterminate accent, and unknown origins. SCP-6739 appears to be wearing no visible clothing, and has no determinate gender. Subjects that have come into contact with SCP-6739 have been unable to describe SCP-6739 as radio contact is lost with subjects when they cross the 15 meter threshold.

Secure Storage Hallway-C-5 with SCP-6739

Discovery SCP-6739 was first discovered in the █████ ██████ College Campus, ██████, California after ten missing files were recorded within the same week from ██/09/20██ to ██/10/20██. Mobile Task Force Kappa-4 ("Blind as Bats") were tasked with encountering the entity and confirm existence for containment teams to react accordingly. All students were released early from classes on Tuesday when Eclipse Squad entered the building. A transcript is listed below.

Incident Report.6739.1: SCP-6739 breached containment after Researcher █████ accidentally entered Secure Storage Hallway-C-5 after the allotted closing period for standard staff. Researcher █████ was terminated by SCP-6739 and the body was not discovered until 9:34 AM the next day.

Incident Report.6739.2: Sector-D-13 where Secure Storage Hallway-C-5 is located, experienced a blackout period of 23 minutes on ██/██/20██. Research personnel experienced an 80% staff loss and 60% security loss due to SCP-6739, SCP-6749, and SCP-6703 which were located in the same sector. A total of 40 research personnel were terminated from the associated SCP entities. Mobile Task Force Gamma-14 ("Sculptors") was closest to the three entities and contained all of them.

Incident Report.6739.3: On ██/██/20██, SCP-6739 actively attacked foundation personnel within the monitoring room outside of Secure Storage Hallway-C-5. This attack was completely irregular as SCP-6739 had never exhibited such aggressive behavior. Six research personnel were terminated and the security detail entered the room after SCP-6739 had already left the area. SCP-6739 caused a site-wide containment breach and caused ███ casualties. After Incident Report.6739.3, SCP-6739 has begun to show more violent outbursts, often manifesting in other hallways surrounding Secure Storage Hallway-C-5, including Staff Offices-A-1, Staff Lounge-B-7-C, and Euclid Containment Zone-A-4.
