Item #: SCP-4476
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4476-1 is to be guarded by at least two MTF guards at all times. The entity is not to be entered unless cleared by a minimum of two Level 3 Researchers for testing purposes strictly. Up to seven D-Class personnel may enter during testing procedures. Following Incident 4476-F, no more than one D-Class personnel may enter SCP-4476-1 at any given time.
SCP-4476's new containment chamber is to have one entrance only. The hallway to SCP-4476-1's containment chamber is to be guarded with a tesla gate to prevent intrusion. Following the destruction of SCP-4476's previous location in site ██-█, no unauthorized personnel may enter the containment chamber. Any personnel seen approaching SCP-4476's containment chamber without proper clearance is to be shot on sight by MTF units.
Description: SCP-4476 is a library that shares many architectural and artistic similarities of buildings constructed in the mid 1600s. It appears to be located in a separate dimension from our own. The interior has seemingly been burned many times, as the wooden pillars and walls have sustained serious damage, and have blackened. The floor, walls, and ceiling have all been constructed out of wood of varying species and types, although the interior does keep a distinct uniformity in color amongst its components. About thirty lamps dimly illuminate the interior of SCP-4476. All doors within appear to be locked from the outside, and there are no windows.
The floor plan is a (approximated) 12 by 15 meter rectangle, with much of the center filled with bookshelves. Each row of bookshelves has a letter/number sign above it. A majority of the bookshelves contained within SCP-4476 are empty. One bookshelf, located within K6, according to the sign above its row, contains a single, unmarked, leather bound book.
Upon picking it up, the subject that picked up the book, who will now be referred to as SCP-4476-2, is transported to an unknown location. After approximately thirty six hours, SCP-4476-2 will open and walk out of SCP-4476-1. SCP-4476-1 is a wooden door approximately 10 meters tall. SCP-4476 can only be accessed through SCP-4476-1.
Upon exiting SCP-4476-1, SCP-4476-2 appears greatly distressed, and after thirty minutes will sit on the ground, and enter a coma for three hours. Any attempt to wake SCP-4476-2 will prove ineffective. After waking up from the coma, SCP-4476-2 will inconsolably cry and yell about the "Collection of Fourteen", the "Counsel, and the "Court." SCP-4476-2 upon completion of this behaviour will likely attempt suicide.
Three instances of SCP-4476-2 remain alive, and are under constant surveillance at site ██. Any remaining instances of SCP-4476-2 may be interviewed by anyone with Level 4 access or higher at any point, as long as a minimum of three MTF units accompany them.
All interviews about their experiences have resulted in memories of a stark white courtroom, with fourteen entities. Each entity is described as large, and shadowy. Upon arriving in the courtroom, the SCP-4476-2 instance(s) are told by the center two entities that they are under trial. After that, they lose consciousness until after they attempt suicide. No other information has been discovered as of ██/██/09.
