Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a standard humanoid containment cell. Due to the properties of SCP-XXXX, any personnel who wishes to enter SCP-XXXX's containment cell must be accompanied by at least one other person.

Description: SCP-XXXX resembles an adult human female. SCP-XXXX lacks an outer layer of skin; as a result, SCP-XXXX's muscular system is completely exposed. Additionally, SCP-XXXX lacks eyes and a tongue, the latter of which was determined to have been removed by force.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a standard humanoid containment cell. Due to the properties of SCP-XXXX, any personnel who wishes to enter SCP-XXXX's containment cell must be accompanied by at least one other person.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a skinless, humanoid entity that resembles an adult human female. SCP-XXXX possesses the following physical characteristics:

• Exposed muscular system
• Empty ocular cavities
• Lack of tongue, determined to have been forcibly removed

Despite the lack of skin or eyes, SCP-XXXX is fully capable of unimpeded movement and has demonstrated an acute awareness of its surroundings. SCP-XXXX is generally cooperative with staff, but has not responded to any verbal or written statements; whether this is because it lacks an understanding of said statements or is the result of a refusal to do so has yet to be determined.

Addendum XXXX.1: The first reported sightings of SCP-XXXX were documented in a series of journal entries by Robert ███, a well-known game hunter of Berkely County, SC. Written over a two-day period, these entries date back to November 1866 and detail the circumstances under which ███ first encountered SCP-XXXX, as well as the actions taken to hunt SCP-XXXX.

Something happened this morning that changed my world in an instant. Nearly ended it, too. I'm still trying to wrap my head around things, so I thought it might be a good idea to write down my thoughts while we wait for Terrance to get back with his rifle. We’ll be heading out once he does.

Last night, me, Hank, Earl and Terrance headed over to Jacob’s house on the edge of town for some smokes and good times. I knocked on the door and expected to be met with a big bear hug from Jacob. When the door opened, we were met by Miss Cecelia, a fair skinned little lady from Virginia that Jacob was recently courting with. She said that Jacob had come down with a fever and was “resting” and that we shouldn’t disturb him. By then, it’d gotten real chilly and the fellas didn’t cotton to the idea of standing around any longer. I agreed. We told Miss Cecelia to give Jacob our well-wishes and we headed off. Before we all parted ways, Hank resolved to go check on Jacob the next morning to see if there was anything he could do for him. I agreed to come along.

Me and Hank met each other at dawn down by the square and we began to make our way to Jacob’s. Once we got there, Hank was the one to knock on the door, and once more, Miss Cecilia was the one to answer. She asked what we wanted and Hank told her that we had come to check on Jacob. She told us that he was still resting and that we needed to leave. Hank insisted that we come inside, and she still refused to let us in. Now that point, I can tell that Hank was getting real agitated. He starts to do rash things once his temper gets a hold of him, and get to him it did. After we were denied entry for the third time, Hank decided that enough was enough and barged his way in. He immediately went for the stairs, with me and Miss Cecilia screaming bloody murder close behind him.

Neither of us were ready for what we were going to see in that bedroom, or what was about to happen. We came into the bedroom and saw Jacob lying on the bed. At least, what used to be Jacob. His skin was shriveled, his eyes were rolled back into his head, his mouth was agape in a silent scream, and what looked like dried blood was caked underneath his ears. Hank stood by the door, petrified, while I moved in to examine Jacob’s crumpled figure.

Earl seems a bit reluctant to have a rifle back in his hands again so soon after the war, but I'll be damned if his skills as a sharpshooter won't come in handy while we're hunting this hag down. Arthur's bringing his hound along, so we'll have something to lead us to the hag's hideout.
