Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4327-1 was previously contained in the normal area where we keep some of the safer SCP items, but due to constant break-ins and attempted robberies of the mask, we had to move it to Facility [REDACTED]. This was ordered by Director ███ on ██-██-████.
SCP-4327-1 is now contained in a locked box that is welded shut in the very center of Facility [REDACTED], guarded by six men at a time. All personnel are ordered to subdue any and all intruders, no matter the relation or rank. SCP-4327-2 has no known containment method due to the nature of SCP-4327-1.
Description: SCP-4327-1 appears to be a normal skeleton paintball mask. The mask was found in ███████, Scotland, after reports of strange and unsolvable murders came up. Each victim was found with their fingers and toes ripped off, strangle marks around their necks, and blood coming from their eyes.
This was not directly caused by SCP-4327-1, but rather SCP-4327-2, which is brought in by the former. After studying the mask for three months, we came to the conclusion that it was a normal paintball mask. One of the soldiers decided to put on the mask after that was concluded, but as was expected, we were wrong. At that night, the commanding officer was found dead.
SCP-4327-2
SCP-4327-1 acts as a summoner for SCP-4327-2, a Skeleton in a black dress shirt and pants, and a red tie, with a head resembling the mask. SCP-4327-2 is a guardian of sorts for whoever wears the mask. Even just putting the mask on and taking it right off will set the wheels in motion. Anything that can be perceived as a threat or even causes any harm to a wearer is killed or destroyed. The most common way it kills its victims is through torture by ripping off the fingers and toes of the victim, and then finally strangling them until their blood pours out of their eyes. It rarely ever gives a merciful death. When dormant, the skeleton lurks around the wearer, mostly from a distance, so long as the wearer is within eyesight. It will start to pick up habits of the wearer, but only when with that specific wearer (i.e. the soldier who mistakenly put the mask on was diagnosed with Tourette syndrome, causing him to twitch. The skeleton picked it up shortly after killing the commanding officer).
Addendum 1: The person who discovered the mask, [REDACTED], has been taken in as an SCP, for he was the one who summoned SCP-4327-2, intentionally or not. He is now referred to as SCP-4327-3.
Addendum 2: Personnel have began referring to SCP-4327-2 as the Handsome Skeleton. This is most likely due to the formal attire he wears.
Addendum 3 Rank 3 and lower personnel have attempted to steal SCP-4327-1 a total of three times at previous containment location. Now only ranks 4 and above are authorized to guard or examine the mask.
Addendum 4 The soldier who mistakenly put on the mask unintentionally caused the death of a ██ year old woman who had gotten into an argument with him one night over [REDACTED]. The skeleton mistook the anger as meaning that the woman was a threat, and by the time Pvt. ████ saw her as not a threat, it was too late, for the young woman was strangled too much. She took her last breath in his arms.
Additional Information On SCP-4327-2 The skeleton can not be harmed in any way. Any resistance to the death is futile, unless the wearer is able to no longer perceive the victim as a threat. Projectiles or attacks simply go through him. When he wants to touch something, he will touch it. The skeleton is able to teleport in some way, still unknown as to how.
