Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: All ██ instances of SCP-XXXX are to be held in Site ███ at Research Sector ████ in a 5x5x5 meter cell with an electronically sealed door. Any objects that appear inside SCP-XXXX's cell are to be disregarded. In the event of a breach, personnel should watch for the following:
- 2 or more similar or identical objects near each other
- Objects that seem misplaced
- Objects that seem to move by themselves
- Puddles of dark mucus
- Hissing and clicking noises
- Other personnel that act strange
- Animals of any kind wandering the facility
Most of the time, these signs are hard to point out as instances of SCP-XXXX appear intelligent and can seemingly learn from mistakes.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a species currently speculated to be related to octopuses that typically appear as shiny black and semi-spherical with 4 spider like legs. In this base appearance, SCP-XXXX will constantly spew a black fog giving it a cloudy appearance. Both the purpose and method of this are currently unknown, but it is speculated to be a defense mechanism. What makes these creatures so hard to track down is that they have the ability to morph into a perfect replica of an object they've seen, however, SCP-XXXX can not take the shape of any animal or human (see incident XXXX-1). Currently, there are ██ contained instances of SCP-XXXX. These creatures are extremely aggressive and kill primarily by entering a victim's body through the mouth and absorbing numerous organs, such as, the eyes, heart, lungs, and intestines at an astonishing speed.
Incident XXXX-1: After a breach of SCP-XXXX caused by a power failure, MTF unit ████ ██ was sent to recontain SCP-XXXX and get personnel to safety, they split into small groups and group █ found Researcher █████, approximately ██ minutes later, Researcher █████ called for medical assistance through a radio, after Agent ███ gave Researcher █████ a suspicious glare, SCP-XXXX, still disguised as Researcher █████, crouched down and began crawling away at ██mps in a position similar to its base form.
NOTE: after Incident XXXX-1, the instance of SCP-XXXX that was disguised as Researcher █████ is still loose and has already caused █ deaths. If that thing gets out, who knows how many people it would slaughter, and if it manages to reproduce? We're all fucked.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be secured in a standard humanoid containment cell. The door in SCP-XXXX's cell must be electronically sealed with an airtight lock and must be routinely inspected for malfunctions and damage. Under no circumstances should any explosives or explosive components be left in SCP-XXXX's containment chamber.
(See Incident XXXX-A).
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid creature measuring approximately ██ meters. SCP-XXXX appears to be wearing a dark, rubber suit and rusted gas mask. The eyes on the mask are a luminescent green. SCP-XXXX has a bear trap tied fused to its right arm. SCP-XXXX uses this bear trap as a weapon. How SCP-XXXX causes the bear trap to open and close is unknown. SCP-XXXX exhales a dull green gas that is extremely caustic and extended exposure can cause hallucinations, unconsciousness, and death. SCP-XXXX initially moves in a very clunky and slow fashion, but it is capable of lunging, dodging, and running with inhuman agility. SCP-XXXX is known for emitting hissing breathing and muffled laughter, making it very possible that SCP-XXXX is sadistic. SCP-XXXX has been observed being able to navigate rooms in total darkness.
Incident XXXX-A: On ██/██/██, SCP-XXXX stole a large tank of propane from the heater in SCP-XXXX's cell and breached containment by detonating it through unknown means. The explosion killed █ personnel and SCP-XXXX killed and mauled a further ██ before being recontained by MTFs.
SCP-XXXX sat down and willingly reentered its cell, leaving a message written in blood "Time to harvest the agony". It had written similar messages near each of its victims.
NOTE: I would just like to say, whoever decided to put a propane fueled heater INSIDE this thing's cell is a FUCKING MORON and cost the lives of some of our best men. Also, I reviewed the security feeds and realized something. This creature had no intention of escaping and just plowed through guards and scientists, dismembering them and leaving them to bleed out.
Incident XXXX-B: SCP-XXXX was given a journal and a pen after Incident XXXX-A with the instructions to write about its past, after █ minutes, the journal was recovered and this was written inside. Most of the journal's contents have been redacted.
Entry October 19██: Just another day, just another injury, why did they insist on using the worst hazmat suits available.
Entry November 19██: Shit, the gas almost got to me today, started hearing voices, started tasting blood, I like it.
Entry December 19██: I see their pain, It's so nice, just welded a bear trap to myself, makes the skin easier to tear.
Entry September 19██: CAN'T BREATH. NO LONGER HUMAN. NO LONGER ALIVE.
Incident XXXX-C: SCP-XXXX was given a stack of papers and a pencil and was asked a series of questions. These were the responses:
"How would you describe life?"
SCP-XXXX proceeded to write the word "pain" approximately ███ times on the first piece of paper.
"How would you describe humans?"
SCP-XXXX wrote "one big puppet" and drew a hanging body without a face.
"Who are you to yourself?"
SCP-XXXX proceeded to shred the paper and threw the pieces on the ground.
"What is your purpose?"
SCP-XXXX wrote "To burn, just like you will" and pointed at the pile of shredded paper.
"What is your name?"
SCP-XXXX wrote "NO, not human enough".
SCP-XXXX-1: SCP-XXXX-1 is a dull green gas that, with standard exposure, is extremely lethal, however, when filtered, causes the victim to transform into a creature very similar to SCP-XXXX, however, these subjects die within █ hours, while SCP-XXXX has existed as SCP-XXXX for ██ years if the journal dates from Incident XXXX-B are correct. Researcher ████ has speculated that the suit that SCP-XXXX is wearing may be related, but no tests could be done as the suit has no known company or make and is not similar enough to Foundation Hazmat Suits.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Still deciding
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be observed via the research outpost built on the shore of Lake ███ in ████. Water from Lake ███ must be contained in Lake ███ by use of dam like structures dubbed "Waterwalls" by Agent ████. The Waterwalls must be routinely examined for any breaches or cracks. If there are any reports from nearby towns or cities of water that is inexplicably black or foul smelling, all Waterwalls are to be examined for damage immediately and the contaminated water must be confiscated. If there are any reports of decaying chunks of meat and flesh washing up on beaches, the mass must be retrieved and either tested with or incinerated. The Waterwalls must then be examined for damage.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a creature that resides at the bottom of Lake ███. Appearance is currently unknown but thermal imaging has confirmed the presence of a large life-form. Occasionally, tentacles comprised of decaying organic matter breaks the surface of Lake ███ but these typically retreat after the span of seconds. Testing of samples of the mass that makes up SCP-XXXX has revealed that the mass, though mostly made of aquatic life, does contain human remains. It is currently unknown what SCP-XXXX's main body looks like as all research drones sent into Lake ███ were rendered inactive before any conclusive data had been acquired.
