Item #: SCP-4062
Object class:Euclid
Special containment procedures: SCP-4062 is to be monitored by at least one personal at all times. It is to be kept in a 10x10x10 meter room with walls made of titanium that are two feet thick. Under no circumstances should SCP-4062 be moved from its holding cell. Any personal found tampering or touching the machine without level 4 access will be dealt with accordingly. Any class-D who are working with the machine are to be closely monitored by guards stationed with SCP-4062.
Due to how dangerous some of the creations the machine can build, it is asked that objects deemed "OP" not be spawned, as it takes many personal to deal with it.
Description SCP-4062 is a galaga arcade machine built in 198█. Two notable differences from a regular galaga machine is that a large black tube hangs one foot off the left side of the machine, and that the whole machine has been translated into Japanese. Upon further inspection and research, the machine was meant to be for a Japanese community in █████,California, to enjoy galaga without having to translate the English.
A programmer by the name of Hirohiko ██████████, was found tampering with the device in his garage after the machine had been reported to the police that it had been stolen. When investigators arrived at the scene, they had found a black sticky tar like substance to be covered on Hirohiko and stuffed into the machine, along with the pipe now sticking out of the left side. Questions about the substance and how Hirohiko was able to obtain it cannot be answered, as Hirohiko died from tumors rapidly growing on his body in the same spots the substance was.
The function of the machine is to spawn any sort of gaming related character from the the pipe along the side of the machine. After inserting an american quarter, the machine will ask for you to insert your name(assumed to be for score keeping purposes). After a character has been typed into the slot, the machine will start to rumble for an average of 10-15 seconds. After the rumbling has stopped, the black substance will pour out if the pipe and will slowly shape into the character typed in.
The character will show the same attitude as it did in the game it was from, which could prove to be fatal if the character doesn't know what is going on. It is known, however, that the character will show constant signs of depression. This is due to the the fact that all characters created from the machine only last 24 hours after initial "birth", and the character knows that death is coming for them.
Addendum: 4062-A: First interview with subject
First subject created. Code name "$"
Begin log:
Dr.█████: Do you happen to know where or when you are?
$: What I wanna know is how a muppet like you was able to get a job looking like that.
Dr.█████:Of course. Um, What was the purpose of your mission again?
$: You mean operation King fish? That is strictly classified. Im not gunna tell some wanker what it is just cause hes in a lab coat.
Dr:█████: Mph, I see. Well goodbye, Captain █████.
Subject is left stunned after hearing his name, then proceeds to enter mental breakdown. Dies 24 hours later.
Addendum: 4062-D:First containment breach due to SCP-4062
Fourth subject created by Class-D code named "King Flesh pound"
In an attempt to break out of the SCP facility, a Class-D personal created what is know as a "king flesh pound" from the video game "Killing floor 2". Immediately, the flesh pound sent out a vicious yell, followed by slamming its arms down on the ground multiple time and going into a great rage before grinding the Class-D into a bloody pulp. Soon afterwords, the subject broke containment with a laser from its chest, melting a large hole into the wall. The subject proved to very hard to take down, killing 38 guards and scientist in the facility. Any items from the game "killing floor 2" are now restricted from being typed out.
Addendum: 4062-J: Possible cure found to quick deaths of created subjects
The character "Jotaro Kujo" from the game "JoJo's bizarre adventure: Eyes of heaven" is created, only this time Dr.███ doesn't talk to the subject, and only offers him SCP-500 and a glass of water. The Subject begins to say how good they feel and don't seem to be in any way depressed. After 24 hours, the subject is still alive and doing well. The subject is left to freely roam the halls of the facility at any time under close observation.
This tactic with SCP-500 could prove to be useful in many ways, as we could now be able to bring scientist from the "future" into our time and boost our modern day technology.
(It could also solve the problem with SCP-682 we currently have)
