Item #: SCP-4447 (this is a placeholder number that I hope to have.) A.K.A "Handprint"
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4447 is located in a room created entirely of plexiglass, measuring approximately 10 feet wide, 10 feet tall, and 10 feet long, with SCP-4447 mounted on a stone slab, resting approximately 2 feet above the floor of its containment cell. The plexiglass room is located in a facility in the rural area of ██████, Illinois. The room must always be kept at 72°F, with a humidity level of ████, ██% more than the "average" humidity in the area. Through the plexiglass walls on each side of the room, a hygrometer must be placed in view of personnel observing SCP-4447, to monitor humidity at any given time. Personnel observing SCP-4447 are strongly advised to maintain a steady distance of at least 3.5 feet away from SCP-4447 at all times. No personnel, regardless of clearance level, is permitted to touch SCP-4447's surface without wearing protective gear.
Description: SCP-4447 was discovered in the suburb ██████, of Chicago, Illinois in 20██, in the home of Mrs. █████ ██████.
The subject is a plexiglass plate measuring approximately a half-centimeter thick, 3 feet tall, and 2 feet wide. It was originally found installed in a window of a shower, used to insulate the window while someone was showering. Before SCP-4447 was retrieved, it was fastened into its fixture with common household calk, and no holes in the insulation were found along its edges. If exposed to temperatures of 72°F for a time either of or greater than 1 minute 33 seconds, SCP-4447 begins to show signs of moisture collecting on its surface, like a mirror or otherwise glass surface would in a room of high humidity. After the initial starting time of SCP-4447's 'clouding', as dubbed by its handling personnel, a small interval of exactly 4 minutes passes, before a handprint begins to fade into SCP-4447's surface. The handprint has been aptly titled SCP-4447-A. The appearance of SCP-4447-A in full takes exactly ██ seconds to materialize.
SCP-4447-A is a handprint of humanoid structure, with intact digits, a palm print, and a thumb print. There is nothing distinctly abnormal about the visual of SCP-4447-A itself recorded in logs and reports, but exposure to SCP-4447-A has been recorded to cause various psychosomatic effects in different class-D personnel.
SCP-4447-A, when in contact with skin, has been recorded giving test subjects seizures, panic attacks, as well as causing erratic and unpredictable actions. However, after the exposure ends, test subjects return to normal, (unless exposure lasts several days, and ████████ or [REDACTED] occurs) some even being unable to recollect their encounter with SCP-4447 and SCP-4447-A at all.
- extreme paranoia
- tremoring in extremities
- obsessive-compulsive behavior, usually revolving around excessive washing of the affected's hands and feet
- temporary blindness due to unnamed psychosis
- [REDACTED] and ████████ not unalike to █████████████, only after several days exposure.
Addendum:
Authorized personnel may refer to Documents 4447-I, 4447-2, and [DATA EXPUNGED] for documentation of assessments.

DATE: March ██, 20██
NOTE: D-4780 is the first subject in the process of psychological testing of SCP-4447 and SCP-4447-A, and the impact of their exposure.
[BEGIN LOG]
06:33: D-4780 approaches SCP-4447 as instructed by SCP-4447 personnel member J█████ Keeling. D-4780 looks back into the camera facing the front of SCP-4447's surface only briefly. The feed shows the recorded starting temperature of SCP-4447's containment cell. It reads 72°F.
06:35: D-4780 is beginning to sweat, small amounts running down the side of D-4780's cheek. The temperature of SCP-4447's containment is shown on screen. It has remained at 72°F.
06:36: D-4780 reaches out, setting his hand on the surface of SCP-4447-A. It is unknown why D-4780 did this, as he was not instructed to do so. SCP-4447's cell remains 72°F.
06:37: D-4780's hand remains on the subject's surface. Sweating has grown immense quickly.
06:40: D-4780 begins to shake, but his hand continues resting against SCP-4447-A.
06:44: Despite warnings of punishment from Keeling and continued guidance, D-4780 continues.
06:45: D-4780 screams and retracts from SCP-4447, running towards the containment door and slamming his fists against it. Temperature of the containment cell remains the same, yet there is so much steam in the cell that it is almost hard to see both SCP-4447 and D-4780, but the sound of his fists are quite loud.
07:00: D-4780 has yet to stop screaming, and he begins to slam himself into the door.
07:59: Keeling decides to end the experiment due to the fact that D-4780's voice is beginning to get hoarse from his constant screaming. He's taken several breaks from screaming and slamming against the door, each break exceeding no longer than 5 minutes exactly. The steam is so intense that nothing in the cell is visible.

Item #: SCP-4086 (this is also a placeholder number that happens to be taken.) A.K.A "billboard"
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-4086
Description: SCP-4086 was discovered on the side of Interstate ██, Las Vegas, Nevada. The subject appears to be a regular-looking billboard; it measures approximately 14 feet in height and 48 feet in length, with a surface of 6██ square feet containing its advertisement space. SCP-4086’s advertisement is recorded as blank, offering a phone number to call to place an advertisement on it. Seen on SCP-4086’s surface is also the company name Lamar, as well as the text; “OUTDOOR ADVERTISING” and “Since 1902”, set in “pine green” font against a white background. However, according to witnesses and interviewed individuals, SCP-4086 is different depending on each person. The cause of this differing visual is yet to be determined, as personnel assigned to SCP-4086 have all seen differing images on SCP-4086’s surface. The only means of discovering SCP-4086’s actual surface is through photo evidence or video evidence. Personnel may view the Addendum for files pertaining to SCP-4086’s surface and purpose.
SCP-4086 is recorded to cause approximately 1 crash a day in a vicinity of 60 feet diameter to its base. Local officials once opted to tear the subject down; the local area was known to be superstitious, and as they were tearing SCP-4086 down, “crashes upon crashes” were recorded. Numerous crashes were continuously occurring every day, weekly totals numbering at approximately ███ exactly, even if the daily amount of crashes differed from those of the previous week’s.
Addendum:
Getting audibly and visibly nervous, a local official made a statement regarding the demolition of SCP-4086.
“Regarding [SCP-4086], I really believe that we should rebuild it and keep it up. People, not just here, even further into Nevada, are being hurt and killed by something, that I feel, is relating to [SCP-4086]. It probably sounds rather crazy, maybe even a little stupid, but I’m really at a loss for other things to do here.”
Initially, SCP-4086 was suspected to be some sort of elaborate show-stopping magic trick practiced by one of Las Vegas’ many stage performers. After crashes started being observed by law enforcement and state officials, the majority of civilians began to question the initial “magic trick” reports and statements.
This tab will probably end up quite long, as I enjoy creating formats and doing research, so the code may be VERY LONG.
