Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid/Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to have a 2 kilometre perimeter established around it, and at least twelve (12) armed security personnel, split into groups of three (3), and spaced evenly in a square pattern around the object. If an instance of SCP-XXXX is spotted, it is to be allowed to wander inside the perimeter until dissolving. If an instance of SCP-XXXX-1 is to begin moving towards any of the security teams, one member of the security team in question is to aim at the instance and fire if it approaches within 15 meters of any personnel, in order to prevent spread of radioactive particles. At no time is SCP-XXXX to be entered. If a SCP-XXXX-MELTDOWN event is to occur again, all surrounding areas within range of fallout are to be evacuated, and covered up with the story of a chemical spill. Personnel who attempt to help instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be transferred.
Description: SCP-XXXX is what appears to be a post-meltdown nuclear power plant, appearing to contain what seems to be a large [REDACTED], estimated to be [DATA EXPUNGED] in size. Actual examination of this object is impossible, due to the extremely high amount of gamma radiation emitted by SCP-XXXX. This radiation only extends to 2 kilometres around SCP-XXXX, at which point it stops completely. Drone exploration of the object is feasible, but has not yet been attempted.
At random intervals, which can be anywhere from two (2) hours to five (5) weeks, SCP-XXXX will produce an instance of SCP-XXXX-1, which appears to be a human of European descent. Observation of SCP-XXXX-1 instances, and one successful autopsy have revealed that all instances are recently deceased. How they continue movement after manifestation is currently unknown.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 emit large amounts of gamma radiation within 15 feet of said instance, and are incredibly acidic, causing [DATA EXPUNGED] upon physical contact. However, despite an apparent resistance to most forms of acid, instances of SCP-XXXX-1 seems to dissolve due to their affects with three (3) to four (4) hours of manifestation. SCP-XXXX instances have shown to be sapient, interacting with each other, attempting to make contact with personnel, and, in some recorded cases, emitting high pitched screaming, similar to that of a human. In one (1) case, a member of the security team attempted to enter SCP-XXXX after on of these vocalizations. Voice was identified to be that of Agent ████'s sister. However, Agent ████'s sister was found to be in her home, located in ███████, with no recollection of the event. How SCP-XXXX is able to replicate voices of those who have never come in to contact with the object is unknown.

Addendum: Incident-MELTDOWN-1
Interviewed: Agent Gilbert.
Interviewer: Dr. Findlay
Foreword: Following all loss of contact with security teams established at SCP-XXXX, an extraction team was sent in with a team of fifteen (15) security personel to confirm no breach had occured, and to contain any possible breach. Upon reaching the perimeter of SCP-XXXX, security team established around SCP-XXXX was spotted. Upon passing the perimiter, all contact with
containment team was lost. Agent Gilbert, part of the original security team, was discovered 3 days later, 7 kilometers from the perimiter of SCP-XXXX.

Dr Findlay: So, Agent Gilbert. You haven't spoken much since the incident. Could you please explain what happened? We know you are still recovering, but we need to know what happened. We want to stop it from happening again.
Agent Gilbert: Ok, just…just give me a minute.
Dr Findlay: Of course.
[Approximately 2 minutes pass.]
Agent Gilbert: Ok, so…it was a routine patrol, we were switching postitions, when, while going around to the other teams position, we noticed that the lone SCP-XXXX-1 thing had just dissolved. It was weird, because it hadn't even been 10 minutes yet.
Dr Findlay: And this is when you noticed there had been a breach?
Agent Gilbert: Yeah. Our sniper, he started yelling for us to come over to him. When we got there, there was this big hole in the fence, just fell apart. Turns out the SCP-XXXX-1 things had snuck through, thats why we hadn't seen any for a bit. They started coming out the surronding woodland. Our sniper, I think his name was Jacob, managed to pick off a few, but there were WAY more than we could deal with. We started firing on them, because protocal said to just kill the fuckers, but they got close enough that we had to retreat into the perimiter.
Dr Findlay: According to the footage we gathered, this is when the containment team reported to us that they could see you.
Agent Gilbert: We saw them too. Then, from the around the area where the [REDACTED] is, there was this big glow, and the dudes around me just turned to mush. Just like those things when they dissolve. I ran from that, and the containment teams helicopter starting going down. It landed on the puddles that my team was and….they screamed. They weren't dead, they were just like the things the plant spits out. The helicpoter was leaking fuel. I threw a match on it. They stopped screaming after that.
Dr Findlay: You received a transmission at this point. Do you know what it meant?
Agent Gilbert: No.
Dr Findlay: Ok, thank you for your time.
