Similar in appearance to The Gulper Eel1 (Eurypharynx pelecanoides). It's most notable feature, like The Gulper Eel it's large, loosely hinged mouth. It's larger than the rest of its body and this allows it to swallow prey much larger than itself. The lower jaw is hinged at the base of the head, lacking in body mass behind it, making the head look disproportionately large. It is 1.52 meters long. Because of its large mouth, this specimen had the reputation of attempting to swallow humans, causing a threat. Along with this, it was also known to destroy most boats that went into its territory, an area about 24.4 meters off the coast of [REDACTED]. It appears to be capable of higher brain function. This was made apparent after testing done after its capture and testing at [REDACTED]
