Item #: SCP-6000
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-6000 must be contained in a 10 by 10 by 10 concrete room with surveillance cameras to observe any abnormalities with its behaviour. The door is to be locked, with an armed guard posted to prevent unauthorized access. Entrance by a D-classed personnel is only permitted for testing of SCP-6000-1. When testing is completed, the D-class personnel is to be terminated and the remains of SCP-6000-2 is to be taken for surgical observation.
Description: SCP-6000 appears to be the forearms of an extinct genus of theropoda called Deinocheirus Mirificus which is SCP-6000-1. SCP-6000-1 is 2.4m long skeletal arm with a 3 digit hand with large talon-like claws at the end. Despite lacking any muscles and tendons, the foreman manage to perform locomotion moving in a similar motion of the forearms in most modern carnivora and have been observed to be strong enough to mutilates its victims. It has shown to have minor regenerative ability from gunshots and physical trauma despite having a hollow structure.
It has been seen in a docile state until it is at a presence of an organism which it will violently attack by ripping off the chest and arms of its victims with its claws and attach itself to the chest with its shoulder girdles. It will stay attach to the victim unless it is surgically removed which will often end up with the victim dying from blood loss or missing organs.
If SCP-6000 was left alone for 30 minutes, the victim will have a sudden transformation as the body will loose it's original body structure as it morphs into a more avian like structure as thus becoming SCP-6000-2. The victim will transform into a type of extinct ornithomimosaur similar to SCP-6000 original appearance with a duck-billed skull, standing at 14ft in height and 37ft in length, weighing 6.5t with feathers covering base and arms of its body with the exception of the head which appears to be lacking in feathers, small eyes, a thick sail on its back with a long tail.
Despite the major changes in it's body structure, SCP-6000-2 appears to still have its memory from its original body which suggest that the brain hasn't changed during the transformation but the victim can control the body despite having a completely different organ system for unknown reasons which require more surgical research.
Though if SCP-6000-2 where to be terminated, SCP-6000-1 will deattach itself from the deceased body of SCO-6000-1 and will continue to pace around the containment area as it did before.
SCP-6000-1 was first seen in a fossil expedition in the [DATA EXPUNGED] of the Gobi desert in Mongolia at a dormant state, were it was taken to the [DATA EXPUNGED] for research. Though 3 days later, the specimen had appeared to be missing, a search party was active along with the foundation to look for the missing specimen until the foundation had found an abandoned shack in [DATA EXPUNGED] with SCP-6000-2 found deceased with a gunshot through the skull with SCP-6000-2 still attached. SCP-6000 was then taken by the foundation to be contained. Research personnel where still curious of how SCP-6000 was found with a gunshot, it was suggest that a fossil thief known by [DATA EXPUNGED] had stolen SCP-6000 and hided at the abandoned shack. This is when SCP-6000-1 had entered an active state to where it attacked the fossil thief to transform into SCP-6000-2 but was found dead suggested to be suicide with a pistol founded near the deceased SCP-6000-2.
