SCP-XXXX-1
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 and -2 are to be kept in separate standard safe-item storage compartment within a restricted access vault at all times when not in testing. Access to SCP-XXXX is to be restricted to personnel who exhibit no suicidal tendencies, and score higher than a 120 on Foundation loyalty exams. A locking steel brace is to be installed on each side of SCP-XXXX-1, such that operation of the main valve is restricted to a 45° arc. Removal of the left-hand brace requires the approval of a Level 2 researcher. Removal of the right-hand brace requires the written authorization of two Level 4 personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a set of shower hardware consisting of SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-1 is a two-valve divider for use in a shower or bath. The faceplate of the valve is 24 cm in diameter, and it attached to approximately 12 cm of piping. The faceplate is aged, with several details having been worn away. SCP-XXXX-2 is a shower head of comparable style, and is similarly aged. Despite the degradation of both SCP-XXXX-1 and -2, the materials of both objects are highly resistant to damage. No mechanical or thermal means of removing material from them were successful. High-strength magnetic fields, however, were eventually able to remove almost 4 µg from SCP-XXXX-1's surface. Testing has yet to be able to accurately identify the composition of the material, but the faceplate is visually consistent with stainless steel, while the piping appears to be copper. The objects, however, have a uniform density greater than either metal.
When attached to a water supply of sufficient pressure, SCP-XXXX-1 and -2 perform a similar function to non-anomalous plumbing. However, the temperature of the supplied water has no measurable effect on the liquids produced from SCP-XXXX-2. In addition, adjusting SCP-XXXX-1 can drastically alter the temperature and makeup of the produced materials.
When SCP-XXXX-1 is activated, SCP-XXXX-2 will produce a liquid of a specific temperature. The temperature output corresponds directly to an exact angle setting on SCP-XXXX-'s valve. The material produced will, with some exception, but liquid at the specified temperature.

Foundation agents were alerted when an apartment complex in Taijin, China suffered severe damage from an explosion, and the surrounding area was found to be contaminated with highly energetic radioactive particles and debris. SCP-XXXX-1 was found, undamage, among the remains of the structure. SCP-XXXX-2 was located 24 kilometers away when local news sources ran a story of a meteorite that looked like a shower head.
